The people who own the property are extremely rude, I was immediately disrespected as soon as I entered the property as well as the many people I was with. They are extremely unreasonable and prejudice. Please do not pay these pieces of garbage they do not deserve your business.

Quirky old style course but fun to play. Not expensive and usually not crowded- I've never called ahead and almost always get right out. Has a small range but sufficient to practice or warm up.

Really enjoy this course. 18 holes tucked away in the woods of Tolland/Coventry. For a January round it was it great shape a little squishy bit that's to be expected.

I have been a member at Skunkamug River Golf Club for 2 years now, however, I have been coming for a lot longer. I grew up playing this course and I am happy to report it is still in fairly good shape. The course does get a little patchy and wet on a few holes, mainly #'s 3, 5, and 11. Other than that, the course is challenging and fun. The clubhouse is a little dated, but still retains that "old golf friends" feel to it. The food is amazing as well, I would highly recommend trying a hot dog, not sure how they make them so good! The course is best during summer and early fall. During the spring it's a bit too wet for my tastes.

My father, brother and uncle were members here for over 15 years. I just started playing golf and signed up for the all you can play membership and joined the mens club. They advertise buy one get one year of free golf but didnt honor it for me the next year. Super cheap management. I bought drinks and ate food every Saturday and Sunday. I'm young brought them business through my friends and family. Not any more. There are much better courses that would gladly take my money. I suggest who ever reads this think twice about signing up for the "buy one get one" special. Me and my family won't ever play here again. They lost thousands of dollars.

My friends and I put together our first annual golf tournament June 2nd. We had 20 guys playing. The management was able to accommodate and help support a successful tournament for us. They helped provide 5 back to back tee times, longest drive and closest to the pin competitions. I used to play at this course back in college and the course up keep has greatly improved. Looking forward to having this tournament at Skung for many years to come. Thank You!

The course is a small classic course. A bit run down but it has a lot of character. They have a fantastic, yet personable golf pro named Rick. The Wednesday night golf league is great with no commitment. Simply show up at 5 pm, get paired up and enjoy a round (cash only buy in).

Not a fan, nice people who run course, but overall just not an impressive landscape, or challenging course. Biggest challenge is finding your ball if it's not in fairway.

Skungamaug is a well run golf coarse that is inviting. I've never had any issues at the coarse, and it is where I learned to play golf. I highly recommended the summer camp for all kids wanting to learn how to play. The PGA pro, Rick Nelson, is a very good teacher. The coarse is a really good one for its price.

Descent course to play at. If you're a beginner to golf or even more advance, its a great place to get better. The holes are very challenging compared to many other courses I've played. I would argue the course is not as nice as others however definitely more challenging than most in CT, for a public course.

Played in a 9-hole scramble tournament here. A very nice course. Decently challenging with a fair amount of water hazards. Greens are well kept. Friendly staff and a nice restaurant and little pro shop situated in a rustic old building. Will definitely play again.

Nice course over all, but $19 for 9 holes is a bit much for what you get from the course. Also because a little river runs through most of properly the grass and course is very mushy in most places.

This is a fun place to golf. The staff is friendly and the course is in nice shape. The back 9 is definitely more challenging but doesn't take away from having a good time.
