Good course with interesting layout. Not overly long, but the up-and-down of the course makes it very interesting. Fairways and greens are nice, some of the tee boxes need work though. The club house is ok, the bar was nice had pretty decent food (I had a wrap) and a good selection of beer. Toilette is ok.

Fun course, actually think it's great for the price. Greens are quick and roll true. Warning: it is challenging. If your ball goes off the fairway left or right, it may be off a cliff. Would be a tough course to walk.

Greens were in good shape. Course has some narrow fairways and slopes quite a bit side to side. Not overly long but still pretty challenging. Got a little slow on the back 9 for a Friday but that's not overly surprising. Overall worth the $

Went for the Mother's Day brunch and was a pretty nice set up. Ham carving station, quiches and Salmon croquettes were the better finds from the buffet. There were a lot of the standard options but I think the timing between preparation and serving the patrons was off. Bacon, egg casserole and biscuits had definitely been out for a while even though we were the second table to get sent up to get our food. Desserts were really good though and the whole experience was well worth the price for a family of four. Friendly and efficient service host team at the club.

Beautiful in the fall in particular...set aside too of hill w country club feel...reasonably priced too...restaurant is fair...course usually in good shape w challenging greens and tough lies in general throughout due to significant hill landscape

I absolutely love the layout of the course. The price is amazing and the people that work there make you feel like your the most important person and not just any player that goes there. My favorite course in CT and it's a hour from my house but worth every minute to get to.

Beautiful course. Fairways and greens are in awesome condition. Very hilly, so a cart is required, but the hills and rock outcroppings really add to the beauty and make many of the holes challenging. The only thing I'd suggest to the owners is to add a couple signs pointing to the next tee, but I'll definitely return.

Food was ok, service was ok, but from what i got from the host of our party they asked for more money cause of the people count not the eating guest. Some came for the people there and the ( cash ) bar.

Disappointing. First time here and probably last. Expected more for $50+. Greens crew followed us with a leaf blower for three holes and then they decided to mow the green on 17 as we were attempting to play. Didn't even attempt to get out of the way, just sat at the edge with engine running. Tee boxes were abysmal. I've been golfing for almost 20 years and I've never come across a maintenance crew working on holes in the morning when people are trying to play.

Great course to host an event or enjoy a round of 18 holes in the rolling hills around an old quarry. The course is in good shape and has lots of holes that take advantage of the natural rock formations. There are a few blind spots, enough to make it interesting but stopping short of being frustrating. In the center of the front and back nine there is a gazebo with a grill and snack bar. I will be playing here in the future.

Great public course, very scenic and challenging. Definitely worth a visit in the Fall A carts only course, no walking due to severe elevation changes and travel between the holes. Nice 19th hole bar/restaurant to finish.

Great track filled with scenic views that will challenge you and keep you coming back for more! The staff is very knowledgeable, friendly, accommodating, and most importantly treat you like family. Make sure to stop by the 19th hole after your round for some good eats and hidden treasures on tap!

Beautiful, challenging course. Been playing here for many years and it gets better every time. The course is very hilly, rocky and narrow. The greens are very well kept. Pro shop has an excellent selection. One of my favorite courses in CT. Highly recommended! Sorry about the signs in the pictures I was in charge of photographing the signs in a recent tournament there and it's the only pics I have of QR.

Always a great round of golf. Course is well maintained with a good mix of flat and up-and-down terrain. Should be challenging enough for the good golfer (I'm told) and fun for the hacker (I know). Very reasonable rates to enjoy a quality New England golf setting.

The course was in poor condition (suggested winter rules except penalty areas). The scenery is nice, but the layout is boring. The holes are mostly straight with slopes on both sides that either bounce off line shots back in play or fall to a lower level. The landing areas are narrow and the cart path is mostly in play. There is a lot of elevation change and distance between some greens and tees that makes the course un walkable. The pace of play was slow, almost five hours. Every green had many unfixed ball marks.

Probably a good course but it was muddy and there were a lot of mosquitoes. Some interesting holes and the greens were well cared for. Would return once the rainy season ends.

golfed there 5/17/2015.. very good shape. course is narrow, but I knew that going in. Greens were not forgiving, they didn't hold unless you came in high. Made you play smart golf. Great scenery, great staff I will be back Brian K Grossguth
