Played 9 holes of unseasonably warm winter golf. The course was really well maintained considering the season. Play went smoothly without any major defects to be found despite snow and ice still present in areas.

I went to the golf course to practice putting. Although there were a few people teeing off, it was too cold for me to play. The temperatures are warming up and I'm looking forward to my first drive

I play here often. Course is in perfect condition. Greens in the best shape ever. The different tee positions make the 9 holes play like 18. The staff is very friendly and accommodating and the price is right making it a great value.

We booked 18 holes on line. They said we can only book 9 holes on line. Tried to charge us more to play the back 9. Nice course but not worth the BS and attitude of the kid in charge. Don't waste your time here. Plenty of more legitimate courses out there.

If you haven't played this course do yourself and your group a favor and make a tee time there. You will be pleasantly suprised. Great condition, lots of fun holes and a little challenge. I have played 110 courses in Connecticut and this is the friendliest most accommodating staff of all.

The staff was very friendly but the condition of th course made me sad. About 20 years ago this course was absolutely beautiful and my high school team played here as one of our courses. It’s a fun layout and was very well maintained. The course still has a good setup, but it’s poorly cared for compared to how it was in the 90’s and early 2000’s.

First time I've been to Pomperaug since 2015. Course has deteriorated quite a bit. The greens are still in very good shape, albeit slow as they usually were; the issue really is with everything else. From the tee boxes to the fairways to the rough greenside, there are bare spots, weeds, and hardpan. This has all the feel of a muni course being managed by a city parks department. Sad, as the course historically was kept in wonderful condition and was always a delight to play.
