Greens are a bit bumpy, fairways are pretty good, the tee boxes all suffered during the summer but with the cooler weather and some work will probably recover in 2 -3 weeks. Great layout, always enjoy playing here

Pretty good food, but waitress brought me wrong drink AND dinner order. Good thing I liked the Chicken Frances in place of the Veal Frances I ordered, and I got a free drink (and a different waitress). I guess anyone can have a bad day... We'll be back...

They always treat me like a King. I went there Sunday late afternoon and went to practice, hit a bucket of balls. Then hit the practice green. They let me take a cart since I have bad feet and a back problem.

Played for the first time today, every hole has character and demands a good golf shot to score well. Challenging yet very fair. Requires some golf course knowledge on a handful of holes. Intend on returning soon and making this track a regular part of my rotation.

Beautiful course and lovely back 9. There is a driving range, not big and a little short for drivers. Really nice practice putting green and decent bar/restaurant in the clubhouse. Will be playing here again!

A group of us get together annually to play golf in memory of our friend. We generally choose a different course each year with two prerequisites.....the course is in good shape and they have a restaurant available for us after our round. Hunter Memorial Golf Course came through for us on both accounts!!! We enjoyed the food, service and hospitality that the restaurant had to offer. We found the course challenging, in excellent condition with the staff very helpful and accommodating ensuring us our great experience. THANK YOU for making our day a memorable one!!!!!

Good course in Meriden close to family. The layout is straightforward and not too challenging. The course is a couple years away from their last good greenskeeper, with ant hills in the fairway and a few torn up tee boxes. It would not take much effort to return this course to full glory, perhaps some elbow grease. I will give the course another try to see if it improves. Good value for the money.

Thought the course was awesome! It was my first time playing there. Greens and fairways in great condition, it is a narrow course. Only complaint is that the location of the next tee box is not always clear. A couple of added signs would help new players like me to navigate.

I had the first tee time out today by myself at 7 AM. The staff in the pro shop couldn't have been nicer. That said, there were two groups of men ready to tee off who couldn't have been more rude, insulting and condescending. The pro shop told me I should tee off ahead of them. ( I play 18 holes in under 2 1/2 hours. ) One "gentleman" informed me they always have the first tee time, and I could play behind them. Rather than argue, I told them I would skip the first hole. Never having played the course, they pointed me to a 'shortcut' to the second hole. It led me to the 10th. I turned around and backtracked. They laughed as I passed them. On the second hole I was greeted by another "polite regular" who told me he was waiting for his friends on the first tee. I was livid. I teed off and played the remaining front. A relaxing fun round of golf ---- I think not. I planned on playing 18 but quit. I play approximately 100 rounds of golf a year and have never experienced anything like this. Good luck Hunter. I hope you can survive on your 'regulars' because I doubt many good golfers will put up with this garbage!!!!!!
