The course is absolutely horrible. Way over priced for the condition of the course. Bunkers not maintained, fairways cut like the first cut of rough on every other course in Ct. and South County . The greens are horrible, I understand that they have been aerated but your not maintaining them. Not enough quality parking. Starter was extremely rude. You never know who is playing your course. Maybe you should put some effort back into the course and not into pockets. I think I'll check with my board of investors buy the place and fire the whole lot of you. Turn Elmridge back into the gem it once was.

We had a great time (both times) this year. Fairways and greens were fair and true. Staff friendly and helpful. Rental equipment maintained and clean. We used the "special" to have a very good lunch and returned to the course for another 9 holes (27 total). All-in-all, as I wrote before...a great time each time.

Good bargain for the area and course was in decent shape, but, tee box yardage signs aside, i couldn't find a single yardage marker on the course. Given the frequent elevation changes the info would come in handy. Strange that any golf course would be so remiss.

This course is very poorly maintained. Half the fairway grass is dead and the soil is unbelievably hard and rocky. Balls bounce forever with puffs of dirt as they do so. Greens were in terrible condition. They severely aerated all the greens and putting was like playing on a Chinese checker board. No putts rolled smoothly or with any predictability. This should not be a 27 hole course. They need to close 9 holes and concentrate on fixing a real 18 hole course. For $98 for two to play during the week, I'm wondering where all the money is going,because it's not into the grounds crew. I would definitely not play here again.

There are more immaculate courses, but for a late Sunday afternoon round you can't beat the price and it is just a simple place to enjoy a challenging round of golf. The fairways could use a bit of work, but you absolutely cannot beat the price. I paid $20.50 for 18 holes, a bottle of water and a Gatorade at 4:30 PM on Sunday. For a Boston guy, this is unbeatable.

Back in the 80's this was a well kept 18 hole course that I enjoyed regularly. Since the poorly designed expansion to 27 holes, many years ago, it's just a lowly maintained cow pasture struggling to get by charging the going rate of much better maintained and designed courses within easy reach. Go somewhere else!

To be honest I was a bit disappointed with this course. The layout is very confusing and the price is a bit steep for what you get. That being said, The course layout is fun and a bit challenging. The greens were in excellent shape and played well. Lots of hard dog legs which is fun to play. Staff was very accommodating and the clubhouse was pretty well stocked.

Had the Tee Boxes been in better shape this would have easily been a 5. The Tees really need some TLC. Golfers also need to pickup after themselves. A container for broken tees couldn't hurt.

Just Started this sport and played here twice this past month. Staff was very friendly and pleasant and helpful. This course offers 27 differant holes and has a very reasonable rate. A must play for everyone. Easy access and close to casinos and beaches.

Normally don’t write reviews on golf courses but in this case wanted to give a heads up to anyone thinking of playing here. The course is in very poor condition and the prices are very high. I was taking my girlfriend to teach her to play and just as we were about to tee off we were made to go back and get her a rental bag by Chris, the tour pro. That’s a standard rule so we did it. As we played we noticed the terrible condition of the fairways. We got to the 5th hole we actually had to play through a grounds crew working on the hole. The 7th par 3 my ball was half way embedded into the green from my tee shot bc it was so sopping wet. After the round I went in to mention this to Chris, and ask what he could do for us considering he had been such a stickler about the 2 bags in the cart and the awful condition of the course and grounds crews working the holes as we played. He said that’s too bad but it’s not his problem. I told him if that was his response I wouldn’t be returning to the course in the future and he said “well guess you won’t be coming back then...”

This is a gem of public courses in the south eastern Connecticut and Rhode Island area. I have played many rounds here and have always been impressed with the efforts of the grounds crew to keep the course in the best shape possible. With three different courses to choose from, it's nice to have a variety of holes...and hazards! The course is very wooded in many places and it is especially beautiful in the fall! Elmridge is by far my course of choice for its playability for golfers of any level.

Very nice golf course, 27 holes, so you can play a few different combinations of 18 holes. I unfortunately got unlucky with the weather, started sleetting when I was on my 5th hole of the match of 9 that I was playing. I would definitely consider coming back to play here again and recommend it to others.

3 different 9 hole courses mean that you don't always play the same 18 holes, which is nice. Not the best maintained course I've ever played but not the worst either. A fun place to play.

27 holes means a tee time is easier than most. Staff pros are great guys. Chris M. straightened my swing out in a 20 minute lesson. Greens have improved year after year. Friendly atmosphere, not at all a snobby golf club.

Played there3 times over the summer. Excellent conditions each time. Tom is the best! Wednesday Special is great 18 holes w/ cart and $10 voucher for lunch only $45. Close to beach and Casino's. Go and enjoy.
