I went here as a chaperone for a prom. The food was good, the staff was really good. The kids all had a great time. The only knock is the size of the dance floor. Not much can be done about it, it's just on the small side.

My husband and I just got married at CT National and both of us, and our families, cannot say enough about how smooth the day went. Literally everything went wrong the week leading up to the wedding and Jen was there to ease me as the bride and ensure the day of went smoothly. If you are looking for an amazing venue for your wedding, look no further. The venue is amazingly stunning and beautiful. The food is pure perfection. The scenery is AMAZING. We are so happy we went with CT National for out wedding venue! Thank you Jen!

If you are looking to have a wedding at a quiet location that is breathtaking, I would highly suggest here. I recently got married at CT National Golf Club on August 11, 2013. The staff was amazing, the bartender was very knowlegable, and my "helper" for the day Devon was the sweetest most attentive boy ever! Let's start with the coordinator Jen, she also is very soft spoken, and pays attention to detail. She gets the job done, and made this experience so each easy for my husband and I. The grounds are so clean, and the greenary was utterly breathtaking for our pictures. I had mistakenly told my Justice of Peace the wrong time of my ceremony, and the golf club jumped right in and helped to meet our demands. I really can not say enough good things about this place. The food was so good, people who aren't big fans of seafood, licked their plate clean with the herb crusted cod. When we arrived they had mimosas and bagels and fruit for my bridal party and I. Towards the end of the event, they provided pizza and brownies, which was such a pleasent surprise. My guests are raving about our wedding, not only because it was filled with love; but the lasting impression CT National Golf club made, words can not explain.

Fantastic facility. Challenging layout but very fair. Not very long but challenging greens that roll pure. Beautiful country but most of all, amazing staff on the course. The superintendent and crew are amazing and beyond respectful. My only suggestion is that pro shop staff should remember that it's about growing the game.

I haven't been here in quite some time. Since it was Putnam Country club.... It was nicely groomed, and the workers were out there making sure it stayed that way. Nice Course all around.

I attended a wedding there this September and found the location to be quite beautiful. Excellent natural light, great open room layout, and scenic surroundings. Staff was friendly, bar seemed stocked, with a number of beers on tap, and overall the food seemed fine. I would say the upstairs bathroom (men's) seemed rather small {2 urinals/1 stall} to accommodate a function hall holding 70+ guests + staff. It might seem like a fickle issue, but it stood out to me while using the facility.

I have no idea why it took me so long to play here. Amazing course, especially for the price. Course was in amazing shape! You will literally not be disappointed with one pry of this course. Worth the ride from wherever you are coming from. If there was a 6th star it would've gotten it.

Great golf course but the league players are very rude and inconsiderate and noisy and if you obtain a discounted tee time the staff very much publicly shames you and has an attitude. I was appalled. Will never go back

Probably the best 18 hole course in eastern Connecticut. Challenging enough to keep it interesting but not too difficult for amateurs. The greens are perfect and the fairways are well cared for. They have a nice bar and the staff is always friendly

Wanted to give this 4 plus stars But I couldn't do that The layout is great and greens were great but every tee box on the course is in tuff shape not one level box it's really hard to hit a good shot when your ball is either above or below your feet

Phenomenal course!Well maintained, with plenty golf challenges including water,tall grass,and bunker hazards,that will keep you guessing and thinking what club to utilize. Greens are not to large or to small with breaks that make your head shake. prices are reasonable with a five dollar food voucher off lunch. Definitely will return to this gem of a course.
