You may have noticed that the average score it has is very positive, and it is based on a high number of feddbacks, so we can be quite sure that the evaluation is very faithful. If many people have bothered to rate when they've done well, is that it works.
As you know, we don't usually stop to write opinions when these are correct and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or incidence...
This Golf is classified in the category of Golf course.
Nice course. Some tricky holes, but mostly fair. The fairways appear narrow, but surprisingly very playable. Greens are somewhat fast. Nice and friendly staff. Reasonable rates (weekday).
Nice course layout. Fast greens in good condition. Friendly staff. My only problem is the slow play, 5hrs 15min. average. I wish the the Marshall would move players along.
Well maintained, very good greens, great carts with GPS and auto brakes.
Beautiful scenery, quiet up in the hills of North San Dimas. Enjoyable 18 holes.
Golf course is good, golfer is not good!!
..bad day...great course (very unforgiving)
Beautiful tight and tricky golf course
Love this golf course
Enjoyed playing here. Nice course. Would like to play here again.
Staff was nice. Golf course was in ok shape.
Great golf course and beautiful scenery.
Aloha! Love this place for weddings and parties. For simple weddings and parties this is the place.
Very good place, service and food.
Great atmosphere and service, but I only heard bad comments about all of the main dishes from just about every guest from our catered dinner.
It's good course & price.. But cart guy who arrange cart & tee time scheduling is no good.. Every time massed up.. I think they are confused own job..
We had a luncheon in the clubhouse and the food was wonderful and the service great too.
Nice course, challenging greens.
Course in good shape. Friendly personnel.
Nice course, Inexpensive, good layout, value play.
Best challenge course I've played
The course is very forgiving on most holes because holes are next to each other. Often had other players balls end up on our fairways. Greens were very big and in good shape. The driving range is more akin to a batting cage with a net over the top and extremely short with terrible mats. It is literally only to warm up. The carts have GPS built in giving yardage and showing the next group on the screen as well which helped know when to hit your next shot. This would also be a great course to walk. Only gave a four because of the driving range. Also, the location can be hot in summer and windy at times.
The fairway was shoddy but the putting greens were well manicured. Nice and difficult course. Hard to read the greens with the mountain right next to you. Sort of an optical illusion. Will come back to play again in the near future.
We hadn't played the course for sometime we've always enjoyed it and today was nothing short of great course is in great shape and the greens excellent thanks for the wonderful experience we'll be back
Challenging course. Great people. Always a fun place to play.
Nice place to play, not busy and narrow.
Well maintained course. I've been playing addy this course for the last 5 years every Monday, but lately they've haff this starter cart guy Dale, which is the worst. Normally my tee time is the first in the morning around 5:37am. He starts at 5:30am, that's what he says. He brings one cart down in which the marshalls take, because they get to start before paying customers do. Then he goes in to the club house and starts jaw jacking with the person on the counter, instead of doing his job which is to bring out the carts so that we can tee off at are tee time
One of my favorite local courses.
I have been to this course a bunch of times. I was disappointed in a few things. The water in the clubhouse was out (totally understand that as things happen). The marshalls on the course and the starters were very rude and short with our foursome for no reason. We were told we were a hole behind, though our GPS said we were 12 minutes ahead of pace of play and the group in front of us was waiting on the group in front of them, stacking things up. The pace of play was fine for a Friday afternoon but my friend and I pulled off the course early as the constant waiting and being hit into by the group behind us (2 singles that the starter did not put together) was annoying and distracting. I will say the course was in pretty good shape though. Tough greens with the mountain impacting the rolls.
Fun and tough course, one of the best in the area.
Not in very good condition, a few fairways are pretty rough. Other than that, it is nice.
Very nice golf course!!
This course is really nice to play when its not too crowded but their management is over the top horrible. My friend and I booked a $20 round at 2pm. Arrived there around 130pm and noticed that this place was way too packed. Literally around 20 people ahead of us. I asked if there was a tournament but nope, they just over booked this place. Took them till 230pm to call us up to pay for green fee's and paired us up with 3 other players to make a 5 sum. The pace of play was incredibly slow. It took us 5 hours to finish a round.
The course, the employees, the all-around experience is absolutely wonderful.
Love the location, tough course for all levels of play.
Nice course. Not good staff. Cashier.
Good course and friendly management
Winter for brother's wedding and staff is great
Beautiful golf course to get close to the nature.
As Player Club member, green fee is comparatively low. Green settings are very difficult, challenging and well maintained. Most of fairways are trimmed in good condition. Except weekend traffic, everything’s good.
Nice place for a wedding, but the food for the wedding was not impressed with it.
Wedding . Looks super nice ☆☆☆☆☆
Great space to host parties and events. Friendly staff and decent dining area with patio.
My famiky had a service here and half the room was being set up for a wedding ( extremely rude) and a piece of drywall fell down from the ceiling on to my cousin do not recommend having anything here
Course in good shape greens were very nice
The course plays very fast with extremely fast compact fairways and greens. The entire course in great condition and well maintained. You will have wildlife guest appearances throughout your round. Great course, fun play, challenging.
Like the course. Clean and challenging
I played here several times and always have a great time. Some holes are really tricky. To get a good score, just lay down some ambition and split the strokes; sometime regulation on green is just too hard. The course is not 100% well maintained but good enough for a good round. Out there in the canyon you can see some beautiful sceneries and gorgeous sunset if you play the twilight. Deers would take over the course in late afternoon early evenings.
A very nice and relaxing golf course. Quiet and peaceful with many animals. Be careful with the snakes though on holes 11 and 12 though! Pictures are from Hole 11 tee box, on Feburary 2019.
The golf course was in great shape and the staff were accommodating and friendly. Had a great day of golf.
Love the lay out
Pace of play is the worst I ever experienced in my 25 year golf life. The course allowed many many 5-some groups on a weekend. Waiting for 10-20 minutes on EVERY shot. No marshals. MORE THAN 6 HOURS TO FINISH OUR ROUND.
The course is great shape. The staff was friendly and professional.
Good conditions, fun track, but can have long rounds.
This is a great golf course I like. Some of the holes was designed too narrow due to the environment but overall I like it. Very challenge
Love that place
Always a fun course to play. Staff is always super friendly & accomodating.
Too crowd all the times that we played however it is a little bit of challengable and fun to play for over the 20 over handicappers.
It was nice kept up and not crowded. The clubhouse was cool and the drinks were reasonable.
Always fun but challenging to play at San Dimas Canyon.
Played yesterday, 07/11/2013, and the course was in great shape. The course was wide open, which was a refreshing change for San Dimas Canyon because it's usually pretty packed. I felt I was playing better than my score reflected, but isn't that usually the case ;-)
Greens are air raided
Had a great time playing. Fairways are nice, greens are smooth and tricky. The only bad thing was construction work going on by club house and trees being trimmed. Other than that. Everyone was nice and polite. Definitely worth playing there.
Hit a par on the 16th hole! All my golf buddies found the agua.
Nice golf course in lots of fun
Good course for the money but get used to waiting on the tees, they often overbook.
A squirrel exploded today on the 5th hole after being hit by a runaway Titleist with a red stripe.
Very pretty wedding venue
Very nice hospitality friendly people and nice atmosphere love it
Good condition, excellent greens, great value for seniors.
Under new management, so a few bumps with an event there.
Went to an event with a vegan and there was options for her to eat.
Courses that put singles, between a 5 some, and a 4 some, should get it together. Not worth the drive, or money, to be mismanaged. They also argued over a $25 refund, after admitting their mistake. DO NOT GOLF HERE AS A SINGLE!
Nice course fast greens
Beautiful course. Good challenge
Great spot for only $40 on a weekend.
Nice course. Lots of fun.
Greg Burgess is Awesome Banquet Captain!!!
Beautiful course!
Not bad course for the money.
Very nice local. Good for party and wedding
Fun course. They tend to over stack tee times.
Gets very hot under the San Gabriel mountains. Good value.
Best course in the area.
Went to neices wedding here. It was nice. Veiw great. However, restrooms we're not stocked at all from the beginning of event And not really clean either.
This neon sendoff was another success.
Played in a scramble tournament today and the course is in great shape. Buffet food was decent, nothing special. $5 for a12oz can of beer is on the high end. Place of play was slow, around 5.5 hours but don't count that against the course. Overall, a good experience.
Course is always in really good condition. Very scenic course with interesting holes and some elevation change. Prime time tee times are not cheap though.
We used the banquet room to celebrate an 80th birthday. The servers were very good. Got our table order all correct. Some minor dissatisfaction with some of the food. But. Overall a good experience. Beautiful view of the golf course from the outside patio. Has good handicap access ramp to main entrance. Has about 5 or 6 handicap parking spaces by front entrance.
Good and nice place, but only view parking space available
Fantastic public course with a private club feel. The layout is fantastic and will challenge all skill levels. Only problem is the condition of the Greens at certain times. Other than that, a fantastic course!
The course itself is decent, but the crowds are unlike anything I've ever experienced in my life. Just took us 3 hours and 20 mins to play the front nine. I get that there are crowds, but in my entire life of golfing I've never experienced a round quite like the one today. Never again.
Greens and fairways are well kept. Very nice public course. They hosted a great Octoberfest event. Great golf. Great beer. prost!
Good day out. Haven't played in a while, but came here because it's consistently well kept and it's hills, bends, and trees keep it interesting.
Lovely wedding destination.
Great scenery and place to host an event
Always a great course to play at. Friendly staff.
Great tournament and the course was in great shape.
Awesome course !
Nice golf course challenging lots of bunkers and hills. Like that the carts have GPS.
Nice greens, beautiful mountains in the backgrounds. Wild deer claimly walking around sometimes
Beautiful course. Came here for a wedding. Very well out together. Great staff. This place was very nice.
Course is so poorly managed. Always a disappointment. Today the tee time was delayed 50 minutes. Then on hole 4 they were punching the greens and in the middle of our play they moved the hole location. (Approximately a 30 foot move) I have played hundreds of rounds and this was a first. Unbelievable lack of regard for the golfers who paid to be there. Course consistently books 5somes which delays the play for everyone. A round of golf should not be a 6-7 hours gruesome experience. Today is the last time I will waste my time and money at San Dimas golf course.
Good challenging course
Very good place to play golf. Had fun with my friends..
Just had Jillian's golf banquet here. The course it's beautiful and the clubhouse is terrific. Great place.
Have good time playing Golf here with my Buddies. Green is in good condition.
I thought the course was in really good shape but I wish they would have told us that the greens was sanded that takes away from the game but it's still a really good deal and the course layout is very nice and fair
I attended a breakfast meeting. The food was ok and the service was good. It is a nice meeting setting.
wonderful course, close to home.
On of my local favourites, always in good condition, sometimes slow due to it's popularity.
This golf course is always fun. Staff was courteous.
Course in decent condition greens fast. Very slow play 5.5 hours to play 18 fivesomes make it slow
good price and good condition
One of the most beautiful golf courses I've ever seen!
Beautiful challenging course and always cool to see the dear roaming around
Greens are punched and staff lied about it when i asked, paid full price for an aerated course. Unfair and i wont be back.
Very interesting and challenging tree lined golf course, difficult greens.
Nice
A very well maintained course but be ready for a challenge! Hills and doglegs water and sand. A thinking man's golf course. Great senior rates too! You'll use every club in the bag.
Great golf course they have a all included deal your fee a cart and a sandwich and a drink
This place is above par for the course lol . Had a blast for our tournament. Thank you guys so much . The breakfast burritos were great . The brunch afterwards was great.
Very enjoyable and challenging course. Worth the drive.
Good food
The course is great, but the pace of play is ridiculous. If you want to spend an average of 6 hours playing golf this is the place for you. Marshal is nowhere to be found. Ruins everything
Great!!!
Excellent course, beautifully manicured. Advanced level of play
Update: Nov 2018 Finally flags are planted in more reasonable spots on the green. The greens are curing well and playing smoothly. Now if the tee boxes can be fixed to be somewhat flat... Short and narrow, very enjoyable layout. Some inherent design problems like fairways to close to each other but that's natural due to the space available. A big fixable problem that's been persistent there is the hole locations-the person who places the flags very obviously doesn't care or doesn't play golf, placing flags right at the edge of a unstoppable slope down, and it's really unstoppable even when you're putting up from 10 feet, and putting down is an adventure. I've seen good putters 4 putt in these greens all the time, which breaks the rhythm and crashes a fun round. Unfortunately I don't think management cares because many have complained and not much has been done about that... Except one time they did move a flag in a par 3 because so many complained and it was just the second green.
Plan 7 hours. 45 minutes to tee off late and 6:15 for the round.
Wonder golf course I enjoyed a lot today
The poorest managed course I’ve ever played. Tee off 30 minutes late every time I visit.
This was my first time at this course, I thought it was well maintained and in great condition
Had a great day of golf today.
It ok. Been to better ones like Marshall canyon
I got a great rate on golfnow and played there. Great value, course in good condition and golf cart with gps.
This is a great experience! Live animals and birds of prey. I brought my granddaughter to the park, and found this nature center here. She is so exited. Enjoy
Nice course
It is located against the foothills so there are rolling fairways. The greens can be very challenging depending on pin placement. Check for deals that include breakfast or lunch with your green fee.
Attended a birthday party. Great view from the hall.
Great place for a celebration.
This is a hidden gem of a course. You can get great late afternoon rates on GolfZing and they will let you book a solo. If you are brave, play the par 3's from the Blue markers in the ground (not the ones they move around). There are a few where you will need your long irons as they push the 200 yard mark. There is also great elevation changes throughout the course with some holes begging you to draw or fade your drives.
Personally I am ok if you play at blue. Difficulty is good for me.
When is a good deal not a good deal? When you only get half of what you pay for. I booked a tee time this past Sunday after receiving an email offering a special online rate of $29.99. The tee time was for 3 people at 12:20. I will skip the part about the person in the pro shop who wanted to charge us $59.99 and focus on the golf. Although we had a 12:20 tee time we didn't tee off until almost 1:00 and only after being paired with another twosome. Now I play enough golf to know Sunday afternoons can be a little slow but I have never played a round where the tee boxes were stacked two deep on every single hole. I am accustomed to playing 18 holes of golf in approximately 4 hours and don't complain when it stretches to 5.. I do however draw the line at a 3 hour and 20 minute front 9! There is very little chance that we would have had enough daylight to finish the round anyway but after almost 3 and a half hours we weren't even inclined to try and quit after 9 holes; hence my opening statement about good deals. In my opinion this debacle amounted to a simple case of greed by course management. The course booked entirely too many tee times and they had to know it would cause a severe back up but they obviously didn't care. Suffice to say, that we won't be coming back to this course which is unfortunate since it is actually a very nice course.
Great condition but over crowd. Too much standby
Food was above average. Attentive staff. Venue was clean and nice. Attended a banquet there. Overall recommend it.
Great course, reasonable prices. Those man made lakes stink very much though.
Older course, friendly staff, clean restroome. Love this course.
Celebrated a 80th Birthday Party for a very DEAR friend. Settings and food were excellent.
Beautiful
I went here for a wedding, and the setting is beautiful nestled up against the Foothills of California.
Was there for our men's tournament, scheduled for 10 o'clock. They sent kept sending out five somes ahead of us and it took 5:45 minutes to finish the round. Last time playing there.
Excellent place to play. Not a hard course, but you have to pay attention to the blind shots if you never played the course. Great views of the mountains on most tee boxes.
This is an excellent place for a wedding with a beautiful grassy lawn perfect for an altar. Excellent views and adequate parking.
First time at this course. All the personnel were friendly and helpful in getting off. Course was in very good shape, it wasn't crowded and fairly inexpensive. $60 something for 2 in a cart. This is going to be our go to golf course.
AVID GOLFERS LOOKING FOR A GOOD COURSE AND ROUND OF GOLF BEWARE!! Worst course I've been to in the SoCal area. The starter matched up groups ahead of us to put 4 groups of fivesomes out in front of us.....ON A SATURDAY. We were already 30 minutes behind our tee time. Each hole took 20 minutes to play.....a 3 hour front 9. I quit after 9 holes as I couldn't see us finishing the round with light remaining. They added a twosome with us that had NEVER touched a golf club in their lives.....only mentioning this as this reason is the only explanation for the reviews showing anything higher than 2 stars in my opinion regarding the golf. Many of the reviews being higher are for the banquet and wedding events so take that into consideration if you're only looking for golf reviews. Helped the newbies out as much as we could as we weren't accomplishing much golf anyway and it's always better to be an ambassador of the game whenever possible. Course layout is poor; electrical boxes in the fairway, trees sitting in the middle of the fairway 100 yards out from the green, and par 5s that go out 200 yards and then doglegs with 250+ yards remaining--cannot pull out driver off the tee easily. And not much of a driving range available; hitting into a net basically off an aged thin mat. The course management and starter should be embarrassed. I could get over the layout issues and the below par driving range but the pace of play with fivesomes without a course marshall and 30 minutes late teeing off is inexcusable.
This was very nice place my son got married there the wedding was on April 9,2017
Greens are always tended nicely. Not super difficult, and I'm a beginner.
Great course
Slow play kills all the fun
