You will see all the reviews of real people like you who purchase the services of Angeles National Golf Club (Golf) in the state of California.
To this day this business gets a score of 4.2 over 5 and the score was based on 195 reviews.
You may have noticed that it reaches an opinions average is really high, and it's founded on a very high number of feddbacks, so we may be quite sure that the rating is very accurate. If there are many people who bothered to rate when they've done well, it works.
You know that we do not usually stop to place opinions when they are good and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or issue...
This Golf is classified in the category of Golf club.
The layout is great. The greens were not great. Really not worth the price.
Best place to cruise and relax just feeling the wind in your face and the view of the mountains its magnificent.
It is an okay golf court, not so impressive, kind of boring
Great for outdoor lovers...hike, bike, camping picnic, visiting Mt. Wilson observatory, ancient forest, even skiing and snowshoeing in winter.
Best keeped secret in town
Great place
Nice course in LA the only drawback for me was the constant freeway noise.
It's alright. View is nice and what not but nachos suck. They're so dry.
I'll play this course any time I'm in the area. I loved it.
Great place for receptions and Agave great taco Tuesday
Angeles National Golf Club: Lying at the mouth of the Tujunga Canyon, scenic hills rise-up on either side of the course, while the Big Tujunga Wash sweeps past several holes on the closing stretch. At the clubhouse end of the course a bit of traffic noise might be heard from Interstate-210, but not to disturb your enjoyment of this very natural and testing golf course, and the magnificent mountain and canyon views that lie to the north and east.
Great place to play. A little pricey
Hard course to play, but the coolest view.
Guess you don’t want members, because you don’t return calls or answer the phone
A challenging course. Tee times are very expensive but the course is in tip top shape like a private country club.
Great view.
Professional staff, awesome practice facility. Course design is tip notch. Need more courses like this in the LA area! Only complaint is how hard everything is, greens, fairways, bunkers but this is due to the location of a dry river basin! Go figure=0)
Great day for a
Our company held their Christmas party here and it was an overall good experience. The food, for being buffet style, was very decent. The venue though looked a little dated.
A great and beautiful course. Enjoyable to spend your day there
Excellent service for 30+ people
Nice view from the restaurant
Pricey. Ball runs a bunch no matter how bad u top it. Fairways are fairly hard. Closes at 6pm. Not bad if it were cheaper. Staff is very nice and food is good.
Great and challenging track. A must to test your skills.
I got a love hate relationship with this course. sometimes its great sometimes its not in the shape you'd expect for the $$.
Horrible course but great food in the restaurant.
Very challenging course. Greens slower than usual but in great shape 8/7/17. No entry into "natural area" (aka desert scrubland / dry river/wash) makes course even more challenging...that local rule should be changed. Plan on losing a few balls.
The course is in great shape from tee to green. Certain areas on the fairways had some brown grass but nothing to complain about. Always enjoyed playing there.
The conditions of a few fairways on hole 4, 6 and 7 were very poor. Grass was rather dry. This was a month back or so. I would say overall its a solid golf course at a reasonable price. Much better than Aviara GC.
Great track.. Condition is ok.. They don't provide anything for the price. Fairways are a little dry and so many squirrel and gopher holes. Even at the discounted price, still think I paid more..
Beautiful view while dining on the patio. It's just like being at luxury resort.
Good rest
Have played here on visits to LA the past two years. Even with drought conditions it remained fair and well groomed. Looking forward to playing again (March 2016) since nature has given the course much needed rain.
Beautiful course, extremely friendly staff. The golf carts have GPS built in which is very handy. They also let you message the food cart directly to come visit or to a marshall if you left a club at an earlier hole.
Great course! GPS in carts with hole flybys and suggestions. Snack bar delivers to your cart, also.
Excellent layout, staff and course top notch
Great atmosphere
Challenging yet fair. Bring your game and you can score here. Take what it gives you. Have to play smart. Played on a weekday and didn't wait on any tee. Course was in perfect condition. Loved everything about it. Staff was very nice and hit dogs are great too! Oh and at $65 through the week it's an absolute bargain. Will definitely be back.
Good service
Absolutely gorgeous location for a wedding
Beautiful golf course, friendly staffs and the food tastes great
Pretty place! Well xare and spectacular food!
The place could use a more welcoming and attentive bartender.
Beautiful views, great food at wedding
Fantastic Course!!!! The course is in great shape. Both the fairways and greens run fast. The place of play is very good for a public course (on the weekend). The only bad thing is that its too expensive for me to play consistently. I also played very well, so that's probably why I love it so much. But really it's a great course and want to play as soon as possible!
Rough is over protected and unnecessarily brutal. To be kicked out if you enter it, crazy!
Classy event place with the great staff support.
Beautiful
Challenging course
Fun challenging golf course
Interesting layout about 1/2 hour north of Los Angeles. I paid $68 on a Wednesday. Course was active but not packed. Small bucket of range balls was $8. Course sits in a habitat area so balls hit there are considered out of bounds and entry is prohibited. Course is pretty flat and laid out in a valley in the California Foothills. Excellent views. Green complexes were in nice shape. Fairways are rather hard pan and balls tend to roll out. Clubhouse very nice. Food seemed pretty good and was reasonably priced. I would definitely want to play this course again next time I am in the Los Angeles area.
Great course..Not for hackers..
Great food.
I have only been here to have lunch with co workers...might I add that it is a very nice place for lunch...the decor in the restaurant is nice...you can eat outside on a warm day and enjoy the greenery of the golf course...the food is reasonably priced and good...where i work there are not alot of nice places to go..so this place is nice and close by...
I guess what i did wrong, is try to show up single. I Love the course itself but if I start at two PM, pay the non twilight full $85, I wish I could finish and actually post a score instead of being stuck behind a foursome on the front and a threesome on the back. 16 holes and they pulled the flags way before dark. None of the people will let u play thru, so it is up to the players to fight it out amongst themselves since the pro shop cannot regulate play. Greens smooth but 100 shades of green in fractal patterns. Only the marshall fixes divots. Most anywhere, half the price, finish your round. Bad luck for me, but for $85, help me out, somewhere. I wanted to do a replay and have dinner but it was so late none of that was possible. Nothing can kill a great day of golf like slow play.
Always have a good time here! Love the layout, good conditions and great staff. Hats off to the ground crew!
Great Golf course
If this course cost $100 or less, I would give it 4 stars. For the high price of $125 they do not keep this place in as good a condition as you would expect. The pace of play can be slow and the fairways were browned out last time I was there.
Beautiful
A little bit hard course for me, but really have beautiful view ~
Worst service
The Agava Grill is a very fine restaurant. The scenery from both inside and the patio area is spectacular. Food is wonderful and the portions are substantial. Service however, can you use a little help.
Great course and practice facilities.

Great views nice layout hospitable staff good food
Course was in pretty bad shape. Difficult layout, but didn't justify the price.
Went for an event nice place.
Went to eat. Great place to host any event. Beautiful view, tasty food and pleasant staff.
I work here as a line cook come thru n enjoy of amazing food and a beatiful view of the golf course!
Horrible service cocky Lil prick in the pro shop has an attitude. Range ball machine didn't work. Busy body blond lady right when you get into the course starts harassing you and to top it off doesn't stop talking. Mediocre course for the price.
don't know what previous people rating of this course should be but as far as public course goes in peak season which is right now, 80-100 is pretty good in LA. greens were fast. fairways were fast. fun course. slicers will enjoy it. hookers will hate it. it's a jack nicholas course after all.
Great pizza! The patio offers stunning views. Great for a second date. Very romantic. If on a date, don't show up on a Tuesday, it gets very busy and you might like someone else other than your date, lol! So go solo on Tuesday! No pizza on the menu on Tuesday, bomber!
Beautiful grounds
French fries were very salty
My favorite golf course. Always good conditions!
Course is looking good since fire did alot of damage have not been there for almost a year nice to see old members I played with for years thanks. The staff nice and lets not forget Joe all around guy carts range ambassador.Hope to get back there soon.So if you have not been there in a while go play its in great shape.
While it's a great course with great facilities, it's a bit over-priced.
Course fairway under maintenance...totally not worth the money
My wife and i had lunch at their restaurant and we loved it. I recommend it to everyone.
Course in bad shape. No starter- no snack shop-no beverage cart-no Marshall & no cheese on my nachos. $100 for a course that appears to be going bankrupt. Forget about it. 6/11/17.
Great course - challenging but fair #GoodFood
Typical over priced, over hyped and over designed Nicklaus course. Honestly, it looked like a muni. Rock hard fairways and over undulated greens. Waited hole after hole after hole after hole after hole Hit your driver and every bunker comes into play at the same yardage. 2nd shot 140-150 every time. 2nd shot into greens are rarely rewarded because of the crack smoker that designed them. I played Blue tees, was 2 over after 12 and couldn't take the snails pace any longer and walked off the course. Marshal's? What stinking marshals. Too busy pandering to people to set them straight. Go ahead, ignore this post an flush $150.00 down the toilet.
Strongly recommend everyone to try out this hidden restaurant in Sunland. Amazingly gorgeous environment to enjoy my Sunday brunch. Great service, great environment, great price also to try the brunch!!
Very enjoyable day out on the course ! Nice weather, a well-kept grass driving range, the course itself was a bit too firm & dry for May (but overall in good shape), and the pace-of-play was terrific. The only real noticeable downside... "last call" on the beverage/hospitality cart was much too early for those of us with an afternoon tee time.
Review on the resturant. We go taco Tuesday because it affordable. The food is delicious.
Course is beautiful, but man do they have a pace issue. 4 group back up on a par 5 bc a member tournament. The tournament was 1.5 hours off the pace. That is insane for $150 you pay to play. Not a fan of golfing for 15 minutes then sitting for 20 every hole.
Do no longer play this direction. There are such a lot of higher maintained and operated guides on this region of LOS ANGELES. The layout is unappealing. The carrier is almost nonexistent besides for the gentlemen at the back of the desk inside the pro keep. Unfortunately, he has no authority. The situation of the course is average at great however for some reason the management behaves as though it's far the jewel of the valley. Everything is way overpriced and critically puffed up.
Pretty good food and great service. But buggers on the wall in the men's room is not ok week after week. Do they think patrons should clean the wall?
Tough course. Great practice facilities.
I have been planning a party for 50th and possibly renew my marriage vows that same day. I was excited that my husband wanted to go there and check it all out, since it is close to our house. We have been to the restaurant and I have purchased several times gift vouchers for my boss to golf there. We went and looked around at the banquet rooms and ended up speaking with, one of the banquet hostesses. She was very friendly, showed us around, gave us ideas, helped us with our questions, the best she could. She said, that she would have the Caterer Manager call us on Monday. By mid week the CM finally called and said that from April to June are usually high volumes for weddings and would have to talk to the Manager of Operations, to see if he would accept my party over a wedding. Needless to say, from this day on we have not heard from either of them! Very disappointed
Great food nice atmosphere
This is a great place to celebrate with colleagues. The food and service are great. The panoramic views of the mountains and the golf course are amazing/stunning!
What a great place
Good service great food for reasonable price at a group event yesterday!
Just had our 30 year reunion there and was a wonderful atmosphere! Beautiful views and bunnies on the grass!
Four stars for keeping the lawn green. Whew that must cost h20!!$$
Good quality food - high estectics
Make this your resort course. Your course of last resort. Greens are great, everything else poor. Paid $100 for cart path only, which they don't tell you. I have arthritic knees and after 5 holes had to return. You would have thought I was asking for their first born. After 20 minutes and 3 staff involved trying to figure out how to pro rate 5 holes for a credit I said keep it, you need it more than I do. Traps hadn't been raked in weeks, carts are old. Find a muni. Better value.
Nice view, relaxed athmosphere, good food
Course has great layout. Greens were in great shape and held approach shots everytime, rolled true. Fairways were mostly good with a few landing spot a little thin on grass and a tad hard, but looks like fairways punched which should help. Sand traps and habitat areas are in perfect locations to catch off line shots or try to be to aggressive, got me few times. I had an excellant time and shot best nine hole score, and one of best total in recent memory.
꽤 괜찮은 클럽
Went on a Sunday afternoon and it was quiet and all around very pleasant. Beautiful course and well maintained. Will play this course again.
Course out a little ways didn't expect a collared shirt at the driving range. Fine buy a shirt for $40. Then go to the grill to get something to eat but even a bagel with a side of cream cheese was going to fifteen minutes because the guy can't just put it in a toaster and hand it back. Just a hassle for a so called nice golf course.
Great place, good food, loved it!!
Enjoyable atmosphere, excellent service, tasty food.
Without any further ado, this golf course is fantastic, much better than AVIARA.
This course is a premier destination for Los Angeles golf! If you want a challenge and a beautiful view of the mountains, you can't ask for a better place!
Great course
Beautiful venue!
Nice indoor/outdoor restraunt & bar area for a small group gathering.
Dear Mr. Nicklaus, I have long been a huge fan. It is with some hesitation that I write this because I know how much good you have done for the game of golf. With your tremendous generosity and lifelong devotion to growing this game, I can only surmise that those who run Angels National Golf Club do not appreciate what you are about. Angeles National's fees for adults are no doubt high, but green fees for juniors are downright outrageous. Mr. Nicklaus - do you know you have attached your name to a course that charges $40 for a junior to play? Do you know that this $40 junior rate only applies Monday through Friday and only after 12:30 pm? That is right, there is no junior rate on Saturdays or Sundays; presumably the only two days of most weeks when juniors do not have to attend SCHOOL. Further, do you know that juniors age 17 and under must be accompanied by an adult; an adult who must either pay $100 plus green fees or a $25 spectator fee? This means if my 15 year old son had a day off of school during the week, the effective fee for him to play is not $40, but at a minimum $65 - and that is if his dad just wanted to follow him around the course as a SPECTATOR. Mr. Nicklaus - do you know how much juniors are charged for a bucket of balls? Mr. Nicklaus - do you know how much it costs for a junior lesson? Mr. Nicklaus - do you know what Angleles National charges children ages 12 and under to attend a Mother's Day Brunch? $24.99 Mr. Nicklaus - Although it appears unlikely, I cannot guarantee that Tiger isn't going to break you record of 18 professional majors, but what I can guarantee is that fees charged to juniors at Angeles National and other courses are going to ensure that fewer and fewer juniors pick up the love of golf - and I know this is not what the Nicklaus name is all about. Please reconsider your junior rates; be a leader in this area; cause Angeles National to set an example for other courses to follow. Regards, A Dad
Fantastic course, well maintained and friendly staff.
