Earlier this year I had rated this place very poorly but I have gone 2 maybe 3 times in the last 2 months and I have to report that since Scott Pennington has taken over the management, the DeSoto Club has higly improved, it is so nice to visit a place that is clean, servers are very friendly and helpful, the mmanager is always there checking everything is ok in your table and your food is delicious and the portions very generous all these without considering their prices are very affordable.

We went there 2 months ago and it was bad but we have them another chance. The buffet was empty of most items the whole time we were there, way understaffed, the waffles and omelets were good but u can go anywhere and get an omelet and waffles for less than what theirs cost.

Nice place. Very clean. It is so clean it looks like being at Disney World only cleaner. I did not go to play golf. But I did go to the clubhouse which was spectacularly clean broke but a little on the too cold side. I was not impressed with the menu the food was actually okay, but I was with a group and most of the food was a little cool by the time it was served. The staff was accommodating.

Ok, my husband and I went to the DeSoto Club, we ate at Johnann’s restaurant. When we walked in it was very nice. The ambience was awesome; walked in and a lady came up to us with a big smile and said ‘’Hi welcome to Johnann’s, my name is Candy and I’ll be your waitress this evening.. Well she made us feel very welcome here. The food was awesome, Doug had a ribeye which was perfect; I had the sheared shrimp w/grits.... melt in your mouth good. To top it off they even had a live band. It was a Sat. night in the Village. Never been there but we will go back, Candy well, she was a little scatter brain, but hey she was real, polite, and no pun intended, but Johnny on the spot. Awesome lady. On the way out, I looked back and there were two men cleaning the table, the place was very clean, the staff was awesome and to top it all off; the Food was Great! Thank you Johnann’s and Candy for a wonderful experience....

Plush fairways, greens roll true but the back nine greens are discolored and don't hold so you need to play short and let it roll. Nice staff and good restaurant.

I live on this course so i get a front row seat to it. The greenskeepers and landscape team are out every morning inspecring each hole, making sur everything looks pristine, and it does! Great course to play.
