I was a member here for over three years and hope to rejoin soon now that my work schedule has minimized quiet a bit. Most of the time you have a choice of 3 courses to play through via the starting rotation as assigned by the course management. Steve the course manager is a very nice man, BGGC has a really nice professional staff of cordial people working with you. My favorite two of the three courses is Magnolia and Willow, the trees are ever so beautiful throughout the spring summer and fall playing times. Silo is the longest playing course, roughly 5.7 miles I think and it takes the longest to play. They do not allow private golf carts, nor do they rent golf-cart sheds. Course is very well maintained and kept up in good-great shape weather permitting. Fairways are very fairly laid out and the greens are always clean, a huge plus is playing those smooth bend grass greens if those are your nitch.

Pretty nice for a public course. 3 nines. We played Willow/Silo Hills. Overall in good shape. Willow fairways were a little better greens need vertacut. Biggest bad about course were bunkers, just need better sand. Really need drinking water on course. Had one hot fountain on each nine. Definitely will play again when in the area for Hogg game. Great price. Great staff.

The people were very friendly. The course was in good shape. The grass in the fairway always has your ball setting up. The greens were very smooth. Could use a little attention to the bunkers. Would play it again.

Greens look great and fairways are in great shape! Friendly staff clean clubhouse and bathrooms, newer fully operational carts.. reserve tee time before hand, busy on weekends! Willow is serene as can be and silo hill offers an exceptional challenge and is fun as ever!

The gentlemen in the pro shop were very pleasant, made me feel welcome! Pro shop is stocked well with plenty of hats, shirts,logo merchandise, golf bags, sunglasses, etc. Willow and Silo greens were awesome with no bad areas at all. They putted straighter than what you read in the break. Very Firm I.e. play for the front of the green. It is still a public course so fairways had some rough spots but it’s still early in the year for bermuda. The natural areas with prairie grass and wildflowers are gorgeous! I walked 18 holes and paid $14....what a deal!

I'm from south Florida and this golf course rivals some of the beat ones around my home town, low prices and beautiful views, the course is probaly one of the greenest ones I've ever seen and the actual greens are very quick, would definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants to play budget golf on a high end course

Life on A Sandbar

A diamond in the rough. My mom and I are golfing all 50 states together as our bucket list. We found this 27 hole golf course. We played magnolia and silo course. The silo course was a links style and really interesting. The course was in really good shape, but just a little wet with some puddles due to so much rain. A lot of fun.The guys at the club house and their pro were very friendly and helpful on giving us info on where to eat in town. Plus they put big hot dogs on the burner for us so when we came around the turn we were able to grab a bite. They tasted great. I'm glad we chose this course as our Arkansas state course. And again, great southern hospitality.
