Excellent driving range and course. After your game you can relax on the patio overlooking the course and lake and enjoy a light meal, cool drink and soak up the calming surroundings. There is also an in door restaurant and full bar where the atmosphere is calm and the air conditioning is soothing. Whether is by day or evening the Verrado Golf Club is the place to go.

Verrado Golf Club is awesome! They have great food and service. Not only that, my husband and I got married here a couple weeks ago and it couldn't have been more perfect. Everyone is great and very helpful. Karie was amazing, she organized everything and if we needed anything she was right there to help us along the way.

We golfed the other day at Founders and when we arrived at 12 hole backed up by 3 groups and entire time no Marshall?? Had to call and get Marshall out as we did not see the Marshall the entire time. He came out but it didn't fix things he was out for 5 min and by the time we arrived on hole 15 same issue so we left. Complained to supervisor outside who "greets" customers and he was not receptive...no eye contact made excuses while he was counting tips...finally said sorry...decided to go in and complain and that "supervisor " listened and gave credit for certain amounr. The key to this posting is when u pay this kind of money to golf you expect a certain level of service on the course (Marshall) monitoring and supervisors acting in a professional way - acknowledge, apologize and actually thank for the feedback but take accountability and fix the issue both Marshall and supervisor treating customers at best level of customer service...hopefully mgmt takes a serious look at customer service and takes corrective action as I want this to be a best in class service golf experience but it takes mgmt to buy in and take action.

Great golf course tucked up on the mountainside. This course has been my only venture to the far west end of Phoenix and it was well worth the trip. The course was fair, but challenging. You get great views from the tee boxes and you have to keep the ball in the fairways here! Desert lurks left and right of every tee shot. I'm a Midwesterner that learned how important a "desert club" is on this course.

Raven Golf Club at Verrado rated 4-1/2 stars: The course's dramatic intensity (and wind exposure) escalates as you progress into the back-nine. Climbing higher into the foothills, with an eventual and awesome downhill closing stretch, the contrast between the soft rolling fairways and rock-strewn desert grows ever sharper, and the scenic panoramas ever-more breathtaking.

Beautiful location, haven't played golf ever but nice to look at. Has a nice restaurant decent food. Great hiking trails in high desert towards White Tank Mountains. If you go ask for directions to Petroglyph Rock, it's a moderate 3 miles (approximately)round trip but amazing relic with some beautiful petroglyphs.

A wonderful encore to the original course. Excellent condition, unique holes (some of them make you think your playing on the moon) and #18 is a beautiful finishing hole that has the classic risk/reward enticements. How much of that lake can I clear? The good news, a fade will come in handy. Get too greedy, you're wet. Until the clubhouse gets built, go back down to the original for tasty eats and drinks. The Victory course is a must play.

I love Verrado Golf Club! Not only do they have amazing food but their staff is always so welcoming. When the weather is nice enough I recommend sitting outside, it's gorgeous!

A golf course in the middle of the desert. Really why does there need to be an illusion of an oasis in the desert? Do they think wasting the water on a golf course is truly wise? Oh well, going to Verrado one can see why they are the way they are.

Beautiful public course, yet has an exclusive look and feel. 1st- rate and has full services, including a fully-stocked pro shop, practice facility and cozy restaurant and grill. Oh, and then there's the gorgeous and challenging, desert mountain 18 hole course. You'll love it!

A bit pricey for the course, but a good trac to play. Should have some better training for Marshalls. On various ocassions was advised that the group in front of us was told to pick up the pace and that we should in turn folow closely behind, "Really, I would not have known" . There was no need for the communication, especially three times. Round was completed in 4 hours 20 minutes.

The view is really beautiful with the golf course and the mountains. The staff is fast and efficient. The menu is limited, but that's good, because what they do have is perfected, which delivers some excellent fare. I had a meatloaf sandwich which was just wonderful. The rest of our party was very pleased with their food as well.

Very nice golf course surrounded by incredible views!! The White Tanks make for the perfect backdrop and you can see the most amazingly beautiful sunsets if you stay for dinner on the porch! Typically large mule deer herds make appearances at dusk as they venture on to the greens to eat.

An excellent golf course from arrival to the 19th hole. Outside employees are courteous and helpful with directions around the facility. The clubhouse attendant was friendly. The course itself was extremely enjoyable. Generous fairways and greens. Lots of slope and contour in the putting surfaces. All of it in excellent shape. The restaurant for after the round had great eats. A wee on the pricey side for a post round burger and brew. But the food was good none the less. A definite recommendation for every level of golfer.

The course is great, the customer service needs help. I understand if you don't make your tee time there should be a consequence, but when you are playing the sister course and you are literally 5 minutes late for your tee time because there was nobody in parking area, you should not be penalized 34 minutes. Especially when we are fighting dark. Every other course I have ever played just put me next in line, because essentially me missing created a gap. In the pro shop they just weren't nice as it wasn't there problem. I would expect more from a top notch place.

What a beautiful golf course! If you're looking to test your golf skills, check out Verrado. Course is in great condition, greens were fast and fairways perfect. Play smart and you'll score well, loose play will get you big rewards, but the risk is bigger! Can't wait to play here again.

I haven't had a bad meal and I've tried just about everything on the new menu. The servers and bartenders are fun and the atmosphere is private with a view. Very comfortable whether you sit at the bar, a table or a booth. Friday nights music and wed is prime rib that is so tender you can't not eat every bite!

Really beautiful, really challenging. I played the founders course. The back side was my favorite. I guess you can call it target golf, as you really need control of your game here. A great short game helps too, as getting up and down can be quite a chore. Play one set of tees shorter than normal for the first round or two. You'll have a better time.

This course is something else! What you read and hear about is absolutely spot on! This course is a hidden gem and is definitely something you don't want to pass on if given the opportunity. I've been looking at this course for months on GolfNow debating on if I wanted to take the hour drive to play here and man am I glad I did! From the moment you turn onto main Street to get to the entrance of the property you can feel how great it's going to be. I highly recommend this course to every player advanced or beginner I promise it will not let you down! I might have to just move to the West Valley so I can enjoy this course more frequently! The staff is also top notch! Thanks Verrado Golf Club for an incredible day out on the links!

I called them in regards to a voicemail that THEY left me to call back. They transferred me at least 5 times before I finally was on hold to talk to the lady who called me. However, I never got to talk to her because I was on hold for 30 MINUETS before I was hung up on! I talked to an Anthony, a Jack, a Denise, and two more. None of them helped me. DO NOT RECOMMEND!

Played the Founders course combo tees. Great track. Everything was in great shape .. tee to green. Great layout, challenging but fair, staff was friendly, practice area comprehensive. One mickey mouse par 4, but other than that nothing even remotely negative. Definitely play again! With all the high$$ courses this time of year in the Phoenix area, at less than $100 (golf now) this was worth the $$ and the moderate drive from the city.

We made reservations for 6:30 and arrived at 6:05. We were not seated until after 7 even though there were several promises that our table was being worked on. We waited for 20 minutes for drinks at an outside table and 3 were not made correctly. They made things right by comingmping or drinks and our appetizers. The food was great. We had 10 people and 8 different meals and they were all good. We will try them again.

Losing its luster have played here many times in the past however sadly it's not nearly as nice. The greens are marginal at best even for summer golf. Overall pace of play was brutal had a 2 some in front of us with no one else on the golf course playing like they were US open qualifying which left a bad taste in our mouth. Also their cart system if u drive within 25 yards of the green even behind the markers it shuts off the cart what up with that. Overall not the best experience I would expect better from an Arnold Palmer run golf course. So many other choices this one just isn't worth it anymore.

Verrado golf club is a very nice place to host events and took off. No I have never golfed here I have been here numerous occasions and visit at the bar and the event space that they have. I will say that my favorite worker by far is Landon. Landon always goes above and beyond to help the guest and I do believe that he is an essential number to the Verrado golf club. I know that he is new but he is putting phenomenal work while I’m in there to come and greet me in the guestroom and always take the next step when it comes to helping Guest at the Verrado golf club. If you ever meet him while you’re at an event or when you’re at the Verrado golf club grill you will surely be delighted by his exceptional over the top customer service skills that make for an enjoyable afternoon or evening. Thank you Landon and VGC for making many events very happy for me and others.

Played the founders course. One of my favorite courses in the Phoenix area. Elevated tees, great scenery, and not to many houses surrounding the holes. Conditioning is excellent. Tees, fairways and greens were all in superb shape. Staff is friendly, polite and very customer service oriented. A must play!
