Lackluster food. Came out cold, and timing was terrible. Soup came only a minute before entree. Only good part about the meal were the drinks. Not recommended.

WOW ! ! ! It's a jewel in the desert with the next golf course 30 - 40 miles away. It may not be perfect BUT HEY ! Wake up and look around at all the rocks and sand that go from horizon to horizon. With the super dry air I can play in 100° weather and feel cool IF I dress right. I'm just visiting from equally hot but greener Texas and I LIKE IT ! ! !

I love the course layout and the friendly staff. Also, the awesome views of the Rincon Mountains on the course and on the patio with a cold drink after the round.

Great Course! My wife and I had and afternoon tee time, but telephoned in advance we would be running a few minutes late. Bailey and Robert in the pro shop were top notch in getting us out soon after we arrived. New to the course, Bailey walked us down to get us going on the carts and to the first tee. The course itself is a challenge in the best sort of way. We rarely play a course we can't walk, but this one would have been a test to walk. We paired with a local single and he said it best: "Hitting fairways is a good accomplishement here!" Move up a tee box and have a good time. We will return often.

Had a late lunch and service was prompt and courteous. Food was fast and delicious. Probably the best turkey burger I've ever eaten and the house Cab was really good. The chip sauce is awesome and unique. Not a wide variety so dont expect high end dining. Its a clubhouse, adjust expectations accordingly and you wont be disappointed.

This is a ok golf course. I''m not a big fan of all of the traps. The staff are very nice and the food is good. I'll come back for Tournaments, but that's it.

Fun course..lots of variety on holes,scenery was nice,homes set back,good condition,good value, be NICE TO YOURSELF and move forward one tee to make carries easier.Definitely would recommend and play again.

Fantastic course. Visually challenging and somewhat intimidating as you meander throughout each hole. One BIG downside. Their yardage book needs serious updating. Most holes have 150 markers but that's it. Suggest 200, 150, 100 fairway-level yard markers. Bring your GPS device. It was a little chilly and very windy when we played on 1/23/15. Not ideal and can't complain about the weather but I'd play it again.

The course is always in poor to (at the very best) average condition. It doesn’t get enough water, so there are a lot of dead spots, and there are a lot of weeds. This would be acceptable, but the course is overpriced. For example, I paid $52 to play in late May while Sewailo, which is a FAR superior course with free range balls, was only $42. They charge you for range balls here, even if you’re playing a round. Don’t play on Sunday afternoons if you enjoy a beer while you play, because they close the bar and beverage cart at 3. Overall the experience here is just not worth the cost.

Went for a round of golf Oct 14. First off, they were re-seeding, so it's understandable that the course was under 'duress'. The price was $29, you could not drive a cart off the path, the fairways looked great, obviously soaked in water for the over seeding, and the greens were effectively sand mats. To start they placed a single behind our party of 4 so we immediately had to let the individual behind us play through. All of this was fine until the sprinklers began pumping water into our round. Again, I know that they were over seeding, but we and many others were on the course when sprinklers kicked into full swing behind, ahead, and on top of us. Literally, we were surprise sprayed by popping sprinklers. Let's be clear here, I am not a professional greens keeper, and I do not claim to be an expert in watering of grass in a desert environment, but when people are playing through the course I feel it's fair that the sprinklers are monitored to allow their patrons to enjoy the experience. To finish this off, I am writing this review not because of the conditions, but because of the unacceptable courtesy of the two individuals in the proshop. After being unceremoniously assaulted by the surprise sprinkler attack, I went into the proshop commenting "Hey, we were playing on the course and the sprinklers, not only prevented us from playing the round, they sprayed us" (with what I assume to be reclaimed water, no fun). The more senior individual looked at me with an attitude and simply said "Well that's over seeding, their going all day, we tried to warn you" (while holding up the, carts on path only - reseeding sign). The whole experience was low, but these guys topped it off. I have zero interest in going back to this middle of nowhere course.
