Great golf course. Greens are in great condition and the views are incredible. Friendly staff, good value.

Larry Bryan

The sand traps fill with water, almost no yardage markers, no idea where the holes are on the greens, some greens are in bad shape, and they allow groups of 7 to play. Nice layout but not worth the price.

The clubhouse has excellent food and the course views are breathtaking!

Several of the greens were bad, always considered this one of the best courses around but it isn’t anymore. Really disappointed.

jay johnston

Could be and may have once been a nice course, but the greens were infested with cancer and the sand bunkers were just shy of being unplayable. Bare lies in fairway and around the greens. This course needs a lot of maintenance before it will be worth $60/18 holes.

This course came recommended by some people at work. We set up a tee time the day before for Saturday. We traveled about 40 mins to the course. It was right off the highway into a gated golf community. Right from the start we were greeted by the staff. Upon entering the clubhouse, I was amazed at the initial set up of the course. My co-worker had to rent some clubs, at which they were very accommodating by giving him a brand new set of Nike Vapors. I had the Coverts 2.0 from the previous year and was impressed at the rentals they provided. We went to the driving range and then the putting green and we were off. Long story short, the course was AWESOME and the view was even better. We found ourselves stopping to take pictures and taking in the view (Which I rarely do on course). What I thought was to be a 6 hr round (because of our relax play at each hole) was a little over 4 hrs. This course is in my TOP 5 best courses I've played in my life, (I've played in the range of 50-60 different courses). I would recommend this course to anyone who enjoys a challenge, but also a forgiving course layout. The scenic views are something out of a movie which as to the relaxation of the game of golf. If you are ever in the area, you have to check out this course. A big Thank You to the staff there at Cherokee Ridge who were some of the top notch personnel a course can have. Jonathan Watts, a Graduate of the Golf Academy of America Orlando, did not disappoint to the customer service and knowledge one would find at that school.

This course is way over priced for the condition it's in. I paid $61 to play on burnt greens on nearly every hole. Edges of greens was really bad, big sand holes you couldn't hit through. Fairways wa in ok condition. Most of all, they put out maybe 3 jugs, but only 1 jug had water in it, and that was on the 3rd hole. We stayed thirsty!! We went inside to buy a drink, well they had some water made up , but the water made up was also lukewarm. This course maybe wasn't worth $18 much less $61. Will not be back. Worst course played in many years of playing.

I hear the greens are going to be redone. Good. Though I don't think it'll be playable till next year. A lot of dead patches now. Tees and fairways are fine. $60 to play. I don't know about that right now but I don't mind. There's a bathroom at, I believe it's at the intersection of 5 and 8. It's not usable. Totally disgusting. Don't go in, it'll gag you. I'm pretty sure the homes nearby can smell it. Kudos to the young lady who is the bartender. She's outstanding! Wonderful personality.

Love Love this gated golf community. Like living at a resort with golf, fishing, pool, tennis and the the people are much more than neighbors. They are friends of the truest sense. The golf is outstanding and the many community activities are so much fun. This area is a gem! Also great lodging at the lake house.

Great course and in great condition!
