Many great plants. Nice selection of most. Staff was friendly and helpful. The plants were arranged willy-nilly so determining the prices was not very clear. Check-out was not handled well causing an overcharge of $7 each on 4 items. However, the manager, when calling in was glad to walk through the bill and refund the charge to my card. I am excited to see them grow!

The staff at this nursery are extremely friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable, and the owner greets us every time that we go. I know absolutely nothing about gardens (I planted my first vegetable garden last year and this year I'm starting to plant around the outside of the house) so I really appreciate the attentive staff. They taught me to plant different types of tomato plants that mature at different rates so that I can tomatoes for a longer period of time. They also taught me the difference between hydrangeas are grown to put in the ground (which are winter hardened) versus hydrangeas that are grown for Mother's Day (they're pretty and ideal as a gift, but for something you want to plant outside they're a poor choice because they're forced to bloom so they're generally less healthy). That's just the tip of the iceberg - I have learned so much from the friendly staff and I plan to be a customer for as long as I am a resident in Madison!

I'm completely new to keeping plants and I was interested in starting my own herb garden. I came in and about 3 people were able to help me. Their knowledge and advice was so helpful, especially since I came in think I was just going to throw a ton of herbs in a small pot! I walked out with awesome herbs, super cool pots, the soil I need, and the knowledge to keep my little garden going. I'll definitely be going back!
