Love this place! Great selection, knowledgeable staff who are always helpful. I think often customers neglect to realize how incredibly busy they are during the intense summer months and get mad easily about lack of service: which isn’t fair and anyone who has worked in retail knows this! The plants are the healthiest around town and I am always told care instructions which have never wronged me. I will always shop here for my indoor and outdoor plant needs!!!! Prices are always fair as compared to other places located in the city. And I know I’m supporting local which is worth it to me vs a big box store like steins or Home Depot.

Yes, this is the Milwaukee Garden Center you should frequent. They have a very large and varying selection. We also always get our firewood here, it is dry and reasonable priced. I just wish the parking lot was bigger in the summer!

Worst Christmas tree I ever bought! Needles started falling off the day I took it home. Stopped drinking water ater a week. Lucky it lasted to Christmas. Threw it out day after Christmas. I think the young guy who sold it to me know it was a bad tree but just smiled and said it a good one. Won't buy anything there anymore.

Great selection but really tough to find what you're looking for - - all the greenhouses are unlabeled, mislabeled and customer service was nonexistent. I was there for almost 2 hours and not a single employee approached me. Perhaps it was my scrubby Saturday attire that made me a less desirable customer compared to the opulent dress of the local Bayside crowd. Great place if you have a ton of time to wander and peruse the selection, or if you look like someone worth helping.

I came here for the first time yesterday and I will definitely be coming again! They have so many different indoor and outdoor plants. Their prices are super reasonable, and they also had a lot of sale items as well! I can’t wait to see what they have for the Fall/Winter season.

Bayside Garden Center is a step back in time when the customer was made to feel that they mattered. The atmosphere is always warm and friendly and your bound to run into someone you know on the grounds or in their numerous green houses which are always filled with quality flowers and plants. The store itself is a haven for interesting things you wouldn't find anywhere else and if you are looking for a gift they have a marvelous selection of interesting things fairly priced. It truly is one of my favorite places to spend the little bit of free time my profession allows me but if I pick up just one plant or a car full of greenery, I feel my time there is always well spent. As with comfort food, Bayside Garden Center for me is a comfort place and I always leave there feeling a little better than when I arrived although my wallet may be a bit lighter at least it's money well spent in one of the North Shores family owned and operated businesses. I should add my dog, Charlie loves going there, he is always welcomed by the staff and enjoys the attention he gets from the other customers not to mention on a good day he may even run into one or more of his canine friends.

Thank you so much for the beautiful 24" wreath. I couldn't be happier with the flowers, quality, design and service. Although, I wanted it on a Sat morning but it arrived the day before which was okay because the flowers lasted thru out the entire weekend of services. I high recommend and will use again. I live in Bayside and love the selection, convenient location, and quality of their products. But many times when I’m there, I feel like I’m a bother to the employees. I am patroning your business and you act like I’m a nuisance? We recently had new tree plantings not make it through this past harsh winter. We called Bayside to see if they offer any sort of warranty or refund, or discount on replacements, and they said no. Full stop. Very rude. I understand the reasoning but they could have been polite about it: “We are so sorry, but due to the extreme climate last winter, many new plantings died and we can't offer a replacement or refund. We’d be happy to assist you in choosing some replacement trees.” The customer service there has always been sub-par and I've put up with it because of the convenience of their location. I'll just go a little further north to Stein’s.

Our go-to place for plants. Flowers, mulch, shrubs, firewood, planters and some great advice to boot! The only problem with this place is that we always walk out with too much to fit in the car.

The workers are so rude. To the extent that they make you uncomfortable. They make you feel like you are invading their store - how dare you buy our flowers and make us work! One worker complained about having to sell me a shelf while I was standing right there. Flowers are of high quality mostly, but the customer service is abysmal. Keep going north on Port Washington a couple miles and go to Steins instead!

I would shop here if the sales people were not so rude and discourteous. They need to be trained in manners and basic politeness. The women who work here always seem unhappy and short tempered.

I live and work in Fox Point and I only go to Bayside Garden Center for fresh plants and garden supplies. Fast, friendly and fantastic the staff is both knowledgeable and helpful. I bought hydrangeas during their fest last year and they all are growing fantastic. So fun! Their fest is next week and I will be back again for more hydrangeas. Do yourself a favor and go to Bayside Garden Center you will be glad you did! Oh and some of my neighbors are really nasty to the staff at Bayside Garden Center. The staff really gets an earful when someone didn't properly take care of their plants. Not fair to the staff at all. I have been going there for 30 years and never had a single problem.
