We contracted with Chittenden County Tree Services to remove several trees from our property. Their price was reasonable, and they did most of the work within two weeks of contacting them. They requested that I pay them before they had finished the job. They claimed they needed to tend to other properties before they could return to grind down the massive stump left in the middle of our lawn. I paid them for the full service- stump grinding included, and they never returned to grind it down. Now we're left $100 in the hole with a tree stump in the middle of our yard. They have not returned our phone calls. It's up to you if you want to hire a crook to do your tree work. There are plenty of other tree service companies out there- I'd recommend you go with someone more trustworthy.
