The team he used was very skilled and courteous and they were very flexible when we made some changes during the process. They finished the project right on time and there were no issues with cost overruns or surprise charges. The end result is stunning, and we are very happy we had Frederico Landscape Management carry out this very large and complex project in such a timely manner.

Our existing landscape was aging and overgrown. Russ Frederico and his crew did a great job of providing a completely new, attractive make-over for our entire yard. I was concerned that removing existing trees and shrubs would cause a lot of damage to our lawn and sprinklers. We had an idea of what we wanted to do, contacted Frederico's and Russ had a designer over the next day to help make our vision happen! Katie designed a beautiful backyard on paper, then Russ and his fabulous crew made it happen! They were easy to get a hold of, communicated with us with each step to make sure we would finish within our budget, and worked tirelessly to make our deadline. Russ has extensive knowledge about what works in our area, and gave fantastic advice. We had a very rainy season, and the crew showed up every day and transformed our backyard into a beautiful, restful sanctuary! We had electrical and plumbing needs, and their workers were there to make sure we didn't have downtime waiting for them. His crew was easy to work with, and very willing to make changes and adjust when needed. Russ had great ideas, showed us several examples, and helped during the entire process. Great experience with this company in doing our home's flower beds in the front yard (including fixing the irrigation issues). Russ listened to what we wanted in general and then came up with a great specific design. Those who did the work were fantastic. Everything was timely. Great communication. Russ Frederico Landscape was the RIGHT WHO for me and my backyard needs. My situation was a bit different, I had already put a basic plan for my backyard in place and even purchased some of the raw materials and done about 20% of the work. But I just got too busy to finish it and late fall/winter was fast approaching. So I gave a call to Frederico Landscape, first just let me say WOW how nice it was to have Russ himself visit me the next morning right on time and willing to look at the whole situation. To have the owner take that type of time and provide valuable feedback was the selling point for me, I knew he would work with me in completing the vision I had and with his experience and thoughts even make it better. So long story short, the very next day they started on the project and worked it as planned every step of the way. In all the steps including massive weed killing/removal, design help, sprinkler installation, large water feature, grading, sod installation, fence install, etc... the whole team at Frederico Landscape did a great job. They showed up when they said they would and they did the job as expected. Russ was sure to work with me every step to be sure the vision was right and then made it happen. I would highly suggest Russ and his team for any job large or small.

We contacted Frederico’s in January to get a bid, Russ emailed us back saying we need a landscape designer to come before they could quote us, so we used his landscape designer he recommended. Craig came out, & got out design back to us in a timely manner. Russ & two of his employees came over to our house to look at our yard, I invited them inside to talk about the design. Russ said he’d send his employees back within the week once the snow melted (we just had a big storm), well a week passed & we didn’t hear from them, so we emailed Russ. He said they were working on it & we’ve have the bid in a couple days. We waited another week, emailed again, but no response. We had to end up starting from scratch with finding a new landscaping company. I’d strongly recommend NOT using Frederico’s, as they are not reliable & you’ll end up paying $400 for a design that can’t be put to use because Frederico’s won’t respond to email. Craig (landscape designer) ended up refunding us our $400, when it truly should have been Frederico’s because Craig completed his job, it was Russ who bailed on the job) We will now happily spend our $70,000 else where!

Russ and company are communicators, we always know what is happening on our landscape. The workers will all answer a question or take a request. We know our options and costs. They have done our personal yard, both maintenance and design and installation, as well as the common areas of the development where we live. Russ has expert knowledge of what works well in the area and won't plant "problems". He also has good working relationships with many related contractors and can get the specialist when required, for example an arborist or a stump grinder. We fully recommend Frederico Landscape Management.

First off, Russ answered the phone. And he came out to look at the project the next day. Half a dozen other landscaping companies could have had a chance to give me a bid had they just answered the phone (or responded to the multiple emails). Russ did, and we're glad he did. We had several trees that needed to be removed and replaced, an old pond which we wanted replaced with a pondless water feature, and some paver work on a path leading up to the house along with a patio in the back. Russ and his crew did all of this plus more. They communicated with us at every step of the project. We had a walk-through each morning, talking through the progress, making tweaks to the design as we could better visual things, and getting answers to questions. The project went a little longer than we had anticipated, due to a variety of reasons, including changes that we asked for. But we were not unhappy at all with the time it took. The final results were better than we could have hoped for. Thanks Russ and crew!

After several tries to get other companies to bid landscaping our yard without success(some didn't even returned my calls), I called Frederico and the very next day Russ was at our home ready to learn about our needs and start taking measurements; the estimate for the job was sent two days later. After giving others the opportunity to bid, and finding their prices,or their conditions unacceptable, we accepted Frederico's estimate and they promptly went to work. Three weeks later they completed the job, and we are now enjoying a beautifully landscaped yard. From my first phone call to Frederico Landscape I knew things would go well. I was able to speak directly to a human, not a recording and they sounded interested in what we were trying to do in our yard and let us know that Russ Frederico would get right back to us. Russ made an appointment to look over everything we wanted to accomplish and within a day or two we had met and had a plan. We were tearing out trees and shrubs and doing quite a bit of new planting - including new trees and new shrubs. We also needed a pad for a shed prepared and a large swing set installed inside a new playground with wood chips to keep the grand kids safe. Russ had his tree guy (Richard) come and do all the tear out and he also trimmed and shaped up all the trees and many overgrown shrubs. This was one of the best parts of the project because Richard taught us a lot about our trees and how to take better care of them. All the new trees and shrubs were planted just perfect. We really appreciated the advise and guidance Russ gave us on everything we put in our yard. In some areas, we just left it up to Russ to decide what was going in. Russ has a great knowledge of everything that does well in our area and made great recommendations about what would look great in our yard. He took the time to look over what we had already done and got a feel for our personality and style. He was also very responsive to specific requests in areas we had already made plant or tree choices. Russ and all his crew always communicated a sincere desire that we were happy with their work and satisfied that our goals had been met. Both Jill and I give them a big (green) thumbs up.

We started a complete overhaul of our corner lot front & side yard over a year ago to improve our grass, add some interest, as well as reduce the grass area by about 40% while achieving a low maintenance yard. This summer we wanted to have someone finish the job for us. The owner of Frederico Landscaping, Russ, was very responsive as well as patient as we worked through figuring out exactly what we wanted to do with our front beds. His crew was large enough to complete the work quickly and competently with a supervisor always present to communicate with about any of our concerns or questions. Russ checked in daily as well. Russ’ experience and knowledge of plants and how to lay them out resulted in exceptionally beautiful low maintenance bedding areas which receive frequent compliments. We recommend him and add one piece of advice: If you have good ideas already of what you want to do and you can provide a scale drawing of your yard yourself, you may not need to use his designer. If you choose to use his designer, communicate your budget in the initial stage as we ended up with a drawing which was significantly over the budget we had not communicated and by the time we made major adjustments, the designer’s work was only barely relevant anymore. In summary, Russ is experienced, patient and helpful through the design phase, highly responsive, fantastic knowledge of plants for our area, and has capable crews and supervisors to get the job done! In addition, there were no surprises after the bid. We find ourselves walking around the yard nearly every day just enjoying how beautiful it looks (something we never did before). We've included some photos which don't really do it justice but give some idea ... please realize that the beds are only one month old so some of the plants have a lot of growing to do.

We were a little bit frazzled in the beginning (the result of starting a major landscape project in November) but it all worked out in the end. My husband and I were going to do the project ourselves but decided it was too big for us and finally just decided to hire someone to do it right. Russ and his team did a great job. They were out every day rain or shine (mostly rain or snow) and did just waht they said they were going to do. When there was a last minute cancellation with another client, they brought the sod from that project over to my house and installed all of my sod a day before schedule. We just completed the relandscaping of the beds in the front of the house. The previous plants were 35 years old and needed to be replaced. I specified low maintenance, dwarf plants that were deer resistant. In addition I wanted a blue spruce and creeping phlox reminiscent of my previous plants. Russ accomplished all this but in addition added a lot of color and texture to the beds. There is a Korean lilac tree which is a dwarf that I can't wait to see in bloom next spring. I was particularly impressed with the preparation of the beds. The removal of roots, addition of mulch and new plant material were thorough . The plants are sure to thrive. The things that impressed me the most were probably the competence,courtesy and diligence of his staff. From removal of the old plants to the cleanup following new planting, they were great. I am delighted with the new look and anticipate many happy surprises as the beautiful young plants grow in their fertile soil next spring. Thanks Russ, Richard, Oscar and many others. We purchased a second home in Orem last November and spent several months looking for a company to help us with landscaping this spring. We live in Las Vegas so it was important to us to find a reputable and qualified company. Someone that I could trust to do the job right considering we live so far away. I had called multiple companies in the Provo / Orem area and either they were not interested because our project was to small or they simply would not return my phone calls or respond to my emails. I called and left a message with Russ's answering service and within a half hour Russ himself called me back. We then set up a date to meet at the property and go over our landscaping needs. Russ showed up on time and spent a great deal of time listening to what I had in mind for our project and making appropriate and creative recommendations. I was very impressed at the amount of time he took to explain the details of what it would take to complete the job. Frederico Landscaping started and completed our project sooner than I had anticipated and the finished product is beautiful. I emailed Frederico and told him about the project and asked if he could come get me a quote. He responded in a timely manner and we went back and forth trying to set up a time. After not hearing from him for a couple days, he got back to my saying he was actually too busy and couldn't find time for it. I appreciated the communication, though am a little disappointed he wouldn't make time for me. 5 stars for the 5 emails or so of correspondance, but 1 star for bailing. I'll leave with 4.

"No job is too small" does not apply to these guys. I called to pretty much have my entire yard redone and was simply told "I'm gonna have to pass on a job this small." Sight unseen and he didn't even let me get through everything we wanted done. Kind of arrogant the way it was handled. Don't waste your time unless it's new construction with a lot of extras.

Fredrico's service is great and reliable. When they are finished with my yard, it looks perfect. Yes, they do charge a little more than other services, but you get what you pay for. If you like a service that comes, and in one day makes your yard look perfect with no issue, then you need Fredrico.

We recently finished our back yard in summer of 2015. We chose Frederico and for many reasons. During my search for landscape companies I came across several company's that I chose to get estimates and or Ideas on our backyard. During that process I dealt with several un-professional company's that didn't return calls, didn't show up for appointments etc. The first time I called Frederico I was able to make an appointment, they showed up next day and the day after that I had a written estimate with several different options such as a fire pit, swing set box, curbing options, etc.. They worked with my existing sprinkler system that was not laid out the best (as I did that myself). They started on the job within 7-10 days. I was greatly impressed with Frederico's foreman. He was super professional, polite, respectful and most of all knowledgeable. Within a couple weeks they had my water system in place, tested, trees planted, shrubs in and the fire-pit installed. They stayed on budget with the original bid! Most impressive is that we were able to make several follow up appointments and they made some adjustments to the watering system and helped us with a struggling tree. We love our back yard! When I first started looking for a landscape contractor, multiple landscape companies put me off because my job was too small for their busy schedules. Not Russ! Russ worked with me personally to help me create a beautiful backyard design that incorporated some existing features of my lot AND stayed within my budget. They completed my project quickly and professionally. I now have a beautiful backyard that is the envy of all my neighbors. I would give them 5 stars, except for a miscommunication issue with the concrete contractor that affected my end result...but still give them 4 stars!
