It's now after 8:00am and I have been sitting waiting for the gates to open since about 7 a.m. this morning. I have called multiple times and emailed to no avail however the hours on their website and on their voicemail both say they open at 7 a.m. on Saturdays. Amazed by the lack of service thus far and no return call. Another person waiting in line just told me he came 2 Saturdays ago at 11am and no one was here....

Great place to do business with. I'm in the landscape construction industry, they carry great products at good prices. I'm using them on 90% of my projects if in close proximity. The best part of the company is the service, the ladies in the front office are awesome, very helpful and knowledgeable. They also recycle!!! and deliver if needed.

I appreciated the desire to make this a great experience especially without me being a consistent customer. l have a place around the corner from my house that is almost triple the price. This company it is not a professional or customer friendly.Last week I call and ask for topsoil to be delivered in truck smaller than bobtail and not in trailer.For the amount I request ,they said I have to pay for 2 deliveries. Fine with me. Than at the right time truck and trailer show with topsoil.I am holder of class A commercial driver license with every endorsement on the book and told the young driver that he will not be able to make it to the backyard with trailer. He so proud said he will do it. After he try to do it and in the process tear bracket on the gate and one sprinkler ,he give up.I call the customer service and rudely be told I will be charge for attempting delivery $ 88. My fault,even I requested 2 small trucks and no trailers.Compare to Staker Landscape company,when they delivered wrong type of rocks,nobody blame me,but they brougth backhoe ,loaded back the wrong stuff and one hour later delivered the right stuff.Nobody charge me extra. Never going again with Asphalt material. I have the pics ,but in my phone.,not able to download to my computer.

I love asphalt materials! They have some of the best landscape products in the state, mulch, topsoil, gravel bark. Some of the best prices I have ever seen for this good of product. Their mountain blend topsoil is half the price of anything you can get in the state. Give them a shot and you will not be disappointing.

Very quick in and out service. I think they should lower prices for people who make multiple trips, especially if its a low amount, like 1 ton or less. But either way, their prices beat everyone else's! I was very pleased with the products too.

I would not recommend coming here if you are a residential customer and not a contractor. I asked for 1/2 ton of river rock and they gave me a full ton instead. I told them I had only asked for half and they said it’s not their fault, I should have been paying closer attention when they loaded it.

I have never been disrespected so bad in my life as I have with this company. Apparently customer satisfaction means nothing to these people. I went there to get a load of sand and kindly asked the loader to scrape some of the dryer sand. He never tried and instead he rudely told me no cause it's all the same and loaded from the wettest part of the pile. Well I had to dump it out and wasted all that time and he refused to provide me with the materials I was looking to get. I told him thanks for nothing and he make a "jerking off" motion at me. I told him I will report his behavior to his supervisor but before I could do that I received a text from Roger his supervisor telling me if I come back he will call the police and he didn't want to hear my side of the story. I've been a customer for years and have had some rude moments there but this is the final straw. What company does that? I will never step foot there ever again and I recommend everyone else the same advise.

I have been professionally landscaping in Utah for more than 20 years. There are many soil amendments and soil planting material available in the state. They are all very expensive and most are not readily plantable. The material that Asphalt Materials is selling to the end user is amazing. It's affordable and its plantable! No amending! Even their plain screened topsoil is very good, It drains well and resists compaction, Topsoil blend is wonderful material, it's light, it drains well and has all the organics needed to promote healthy and vigorous root growth. We planted tens of thousands of dollars in plant material directly in their Topsoil Blend product just last summer alone and did not lose a single plant. I am sold! Their Mountain Blend product is equally as amazing as the Topsoil Blend with a little bit darker color. They have all I need at one location, soil and soil blends, paver sand, play sand, decorative rock, boulders, etc. They even bulk salt for snow removal and ice control! If you want top of the line landscape products at an affordable price, go down to Asphalt Materials and see Tammy! Tell her Roger sent you! You wont be disappointed!

I was recommended and sold some material that was not able to complete my project satisfactorily... The women in the office have very little knowledge about the products and what capabilities the materials have. When I tried to explain what happened and that they recommended and sold me a product that failed they told me I couldn't return for a refund... but that I could dispose of it for free. 125.00 in their pocket for materials and I'm out the material plus 2 men x 2 days wages. Thanks guys... I'll use Staker or geneva from now on.

I decided to do the demo on my driveway to save money. I was told by another customer this place charges a minimal fee around $20 or less. Went there and was charged $100 for each load and I had 2. It was 20 per ton with rebar or 1 without. That's a huge price difference with a couple pieces of metal that a machine takes out anyways.

I was very impressed with my experience today. I was that guy and came 20 minutes before they closed, but was treated like I was their first for the day. The ladies inside were very helpful and got me set up to get the gravel I came for. They pointed me to where I needed to go, and has a loader waiting for me. I have a black short bed pickup, and the the loader, being fairly new, decided to call someone with someone with more experience to come load my truck as to not run the risk of spilling and scratching. I appreciated his understanding of his limits and respected his decision to call someone else over. The guy who came to help was very skilled and amazed me with his loading skills. I can confidently say, he spilled fewer than 10 pieces, out of a whole ton of gravel. Will definitely be back.
