I've shopped at this greenhouse for nearly 4 decades. I was there in May and was astonished by the prices. I currently live in the Minneapolis area, but have family that remains in SF. I looked over the hosta selection, for a plant with two eyes, it was anywhere from 14-19 dollars for a plant in a small container - WOW. I got huge hosta plants here in the cities for 7-9 bucks from Gertens; and they had a much larger selection. I simply cannot believe how nearly everything in SF costs more there than it does here in the cities.

The store gets an A! The website gets an F. A lady named Amber helped me and made Valentine's day a success!!! Roses were perfect. Even ordered from another state. I will be using them again. They only complaint is I nearly ordered off the website (which the local store has no control over) and NEARLY bought something with a special edition vase. I would have had NO WAY of knowing they didn't HAVE the vase locally if I had not called in. THEY WILL GET IT RIGHT, JUST MAKE SURE YOU CALL IT IN! -J. Deen

Ordered the Zen garden online for a birthday gift. The finished product looked very different than the picture. Instead of bamboo there were sticks, the container was oval and they added a gawky pink bow. Called to voice my displeasure and they said they did not have the product as pictured so they substituted. Shouldn’t the substitution have some resemblance to the picture? Their solution was to return it. Hard to return when it was already given as a gift to someone in a retirement home! So disappointed.

Extremely disappointed if I could I wouldn't give them any stars. I ordered an arrangement from their website and wasn't remotely close to what they promote! I tried calling to make it right and instead I got loads of excuses. Would keep your money and go somewhere else!

This place has shady business practices. They stick their own prices over the manufacturer's price printed on the package, often two or three times more than the original price. If you're looking to save money on plants and supplies, this is not the place to go.

I tried to contact them on 5/17/18 phone just rang and rang ......I was asked to be placed on hold after roughly 3 minutes of ringing then So I waited over 5 mintues on hold with nobody to take my phone call. So I tried to call back into the store and again nothing but ringing for 3-4 minutes at this store just looking for quaking aspen trees. I will be taking my business elsewhere. Pretty dissapointing!

Pro: Was delivered couple hours later. Con: However, I let them pick out bouquet for $50.00 for friends new baby. She said she could make something real nice for that amount. It was nice size but had 3 different flowers in it. The focal flowers being 4 carnations. I looked at different florist's bouquets in the Sioux Falls area and for the same price would have gotten flowers like roses and Lilly's. Couple of them also had special vase "it's a girl" vases. Sadly not the bouquet I ordered. If you order from this florist, do NOT let them pick it out or you will be shocked! I live in different state so maybe they thought they could cut corners on my order. Very disappointed....

One of their crews worked in my neighborhood. An expensive piece of equipment was stolen from a pickup parked in front of my home. I don't see any of my neighbors using such an item and no one goes through here other than neighbors and contractors. I question their screening process for staff and the coincidence here.
