Contracted with Hay Hill in Summer 2017 for landscape and hard-scape services. Landscape design was a good process. However, if your vision is not atypical of their style it will take a while to get your point across. The plants were healthy and sizing matched what was contracted. I've followed their recommendations for care and so far so good. My concern is whether the plants they selected and told me were "fast growing" will prove true. I plan to use another company for ongoing lawn and plant care. Hard-scape/concrete work was a disaster. Contracted for a 585 sq ft patio of integral color concrete with a rock salt finish. Compared to the large projects they advertise on their website this should have been a 'no brainer'. Maybe the pictures are from projects long ago as it is very misleading. The FIRST pour was a disaster. As the concrete cured dark rings lines and what looked like stains appeared. After 30 days and things getting worse they suggested a partial re-pour and then changed the plan to complete re-do of the patio. The second pour is again poor quality and sub-par work. As the concrete cured the color is showing up in miscellaneous areas like stains on a 30 year old installation. The very poor trowel work has left highly visible and raised areas that are eye catching the minute you walk out. Finally, because the second pour was done after the landscape, the sod next to the patio is bare in some areas and the tracks from the loader that hauled off the concrete still remain visible as indentation in the lawn. They said they would fix but walked away when I paid in full. I've consulted a national expert and my only recourse is to try honing, which Hay Hill did not even offer or to eventually tile over the entire pad. On top of this, their workers were using the leaves of the newly planted palms as shelving for their cigarettes, lighters and wallets. Spring is coming and the desire to home improve is looming. If you need help with 'yard work' or landscape I recommend you bypass the hype and think twice especially when considering concrete capabilities beyond a plain gray suburban driveway. They are clueless...
