This is a nice small location. They have some nice plants but they're rather pricey most likely because they're in the expensive area of town.

Randal is very knowledgeable and patient. It is not cheap, but is definitely worth your money. Plants, tools, composting, pots and lights, they have a lot and you can always ask about random items, he might be able to order for you!

I love this place! Randal is friendly and knowledgeable, and is so willing to hunt down any plants you want if he doesn't have it in stock. It's a great place to go for local, organic garden supplies, or just to hang out and chat about gardens.

This is an awesome urban garden store. They carry a great assortment of high quality plants and garden supplies. I love that it's a small local business in the middle of Columbia that prides itself on being organic. Definitely give this shop a look. It's small and eclectic and such a gem.

As to inventory, I know I can trust his composition of potting soils and chemical-free species of plants. The tools for sale there are incomparable in terms of performance and durability (broken too many tools from big box stores) and well worth the price! Perhaps most importantly, Gardeners Outpost has become the focal point of reference and resource for the growing network of serious practitioners in the Columbia area.
