At first, Joe showed up on time and was enthusiastic… Impressed, my wife and I signed the papers with a down payment to perform the work.. In the early phases, work and craftsmanship seemed solid … Then, the communication process completely fell apart with promises made that were never fulfilled and we were left with an unfinished product not up to the specifications that were initially agreed upon ... I now fear, with a complete cut off of communication at the end of our project from joe with several unanswered texts, that any warranty promised will not be honored… Buyer beware. -First, TIMING was a big issue and it only got worse after a large payment stopped work within nearly hours of payment and did not return for over a month … in addition to a delay in the beginning, supposedly due to rain, we were left waiting for months after the initial start date and, to this day, still have not seen full completion or even a follow-up to complete items which were agreed (plantings, pooling of water / proper drainage, among other items). I get it, things happen, but we were told the job would take weeks and in the end it took ~6 months and is still not complete. -Second, COMMUNICATION on the surface was good at first.. but, when it came down to the important things … picking out the stone, for example, we were told that we would sit down and discuss the best options in person along with other items – that never happened and we were left on our own to do so. Also, many of the day to day items were left to the crew, where English is not their first language and sometimes it was hard to communicate if they actually showed up on time when promised when i was waiting (over and hour every time) to go into work late several times (traffic was the excuse at least 3 times)..… There were a number of important items overlooked and lost in the shuffle; including keeping the entire patio level with the back of our house so that we can walk out of our sliding doors with no steps – one of several items turning out to be a very important and annoying issue now. We ended up having to send a list of items which we asked to be addressed and/or explained and nearly all were ignored. --PROMISES BROKEN: We were described a number of landscaping items to be included in the beginning planning (one meeting and several phone calls in detail) .. Then signed a contract with a detailed planting schedule included and inquired later into the project on where we were on landscaping.. To our surprise, we were told that was now NOT included.. trees, shrubs, an number of plants which add up to a decent amount of $… Finally, after a number of phone calls – we were given an apology, told it was an error from the person who drew up the plans (not our misunderstanding) and 100% promised the plantings would be provided and still to this day (nearly a year since the start) THAT HAS NEVER HAPPENED. -In the end, my wife and I consider ourselves very fair and easy to deal with, but this process ending up being quite painful. It should have been an exciting time to build our little outdoor oasis, but it turned out to be a whole lot of hassle and disappointment, especially as we are left trying to figure out how to pick up the pieces and finish the project. There is no excuse for broken promises, exceptionally long delays, left waiting to meet for over an hour a number of times, shoddy work and leaving a job undone with unhappy customers. We would NOT recommend hiring Plymouth Landscape for stone work.

Simply put Plymouth Nursery is the best in this entire area. Joe DiJosia has a great eye for design. They have been doing work at my house for nearly twenty years. They transformed our exterior when we first moved in, and have continuously performed small and large jobs over the years. We finally repaved our front patio to match the work in the rear. I'm only sorry we waited so long. I have recommended them to friends and family over the years and EVERYONE OF THEM had a positive experience.

We hired Plymouth Nursery to build a patio for us because of the beautiful job they did hardscaping and landscaping at our next door neighbor's house. After admiring our neighbor's yard for a few years, we decided to build a patio in 2016 and then to replace our front porch just this year. We hired Plymouth Nursery for both jobs. John helped us with the designs, but he also listened to our ideas, so it was a real collaboration. We're very happy with our patio (including a pizza oven!) and porch. John was also very accurate in his time estimates, which we appreciated.

I am a very novice gardener M whenever I walk into Plymouth produce I can be sure the day will show me the correct flowers and plants for my yard they ask questions about Shae sunlight maintenance what am I looking for what kind of plant do I think I need where are they going the thoroughness of them is unbelievable. I'm lucky enough to say that I'm in a new home and know very little and of course there's the great little alredy planted so when I go in and tell them what I'm doing they spend the time that is needed to find me the plants that are right for me. Today was tomatoes and peppers zucchini I got some great flowers my car is full and my budget wasn't ripped apart they managed to do it on a budget the prices the quality the freshness and that just begins with the outside plants when you get into their produce and the other items that they carry I can't say enough it's always fantastic worth the trip and in all honesty don't tell them I said this but their prices are at least 1/3 Offof what they are From everybody else

Very nice place to buy flowers and plants. I visited back in May with my parents and my mom did not want to leave. My favorite thing was the popcorn plant! You will have to stop by and ask about it.

Fantastic experience, and a great selection of plants at a fair price. We received superb service and advice from the staff. We are new to gardening and the staff walked us through the basics and gave us many useful tips on how to make the gardening experience pleasurable and successful. The advantage and benefit of dealing with a local business (versus a huge chain) really came through for us on our visit to Plymouth Nursery, and we highly recommend them to anyone who values great customer service.

They prefer customers they know. Service was terrible. We couldn't find anyone to help us and we stood around waiting for over 15 mins for the one guy at the counter while he chatted with the previous customer. We were told that they didn't sell any Foam Wires or Tree Stakes and was told to drive to a different nursery about 10 miles away. The prices for the trees and plants weren't great either.

Plants purchased either died or are not thriving vs. plants purchased at THD doing well. Owner sold me a hybrid azalea that he guaranteed was able to endure full sun, it was not, moved it, it is now dead.

Good prices, wonderful selection of plants and flowers.

Do not use this service. told 10 days, took 2 months. Did not complete work, but still charged me.

Jared Vanore

great footprint and a large variety of plants, trees, bushes, and herbs. Prices are a little steep, but they make up for it in their service and inventory. Delivery is cheap within 5 miles

If I could leave negative stars for this company I would, unfoturnately google makes you give a minimum of 1 star. This company has done a pathetic job of attemting to plant trees in the basin behind my house. The basin still contains stagnant water and brews mosquitos and other pests. This company damaged the majority of my backyard and one of the owners, John, could care less and came up with a horrible plan to fix the damage. He offered no apologies and his plan is to have me water my own lawn twice a day to fix the damage after I had to complain several times. See 1st attached picutre of the horrible work done in the basin and see 2nd attached picture of the damage caused to my backyard.

Overpriced. Went to the Home Depot to find the same trees for MUCH less. Something that could have cost over $300 was 50 bucks in HD. Woman was rude as well

Had a very bad experience with mulch delivery.

We have used tom for snow plowing for about 5 years. He failed to show once. It is not the blizzard of 2016. I called Tom on Friday to ensure that he would come. I called on Sunday at @1PM iand he told me he would come. Despite having cancer surgery and my wife having back pain, we had to shovel ourselves. We always paid our bills immediately. We were very disappointed that despite paying our bills on time for many years, we werent even given the courtesy of a return phone call saying that he couldnt come. Please think twice.

My HOA uses them as a landscaping service, so I don't have much of a choice in provider right now, but I would not recommend to those who do. I've submitted several complaints to the HOA this year and it's only June. They butchered my Maidens Grass - just today actually, they shredded it from a beautiful 4 foot span of flowy grass, with feathery plumes JUST bloomed, to an 8 inch span of a half dead lump of grass (picture attached). How a landscaping company doesn't know how to tend to common plants is beyond me. They also mulch our garden beds, which is all fine and dandy, but they moved my patio furniture around (which was NOT necessary), left it and my grill to where they moved it, and then left piles of mulch and dirt all over my patio and furniture. I had to sweep and power-wash my patio the next day since they just left it like that. Multiple times they've left grass clippings somehow on top of my patio furniture as well. At one point, they let the grass grow over 12 inches high before cutting it... That's how you get ticks and snakes!! It's been a nightmare.

Among the companies that we contacted John just DiJoisia was the only one who provided a real estimate and description of what he was going to do. They not only met all of our expectations and exceeded them. His crew was helpful and working with us at all times to make sure that it was going to be just what we wanted.

What a neat find! Even though I couldn't get there in time for the Mother's Day rush (happens at every garden shop, every year
