The fountain shows are free with admission and very entertaining. Most people view from the conservatory, but, if it's hot out or you have kids with you, you can head towards the fountain and get soaked. I'd say it's equally impressive up-close. Also, go out of your way to see a fireworks and fountain show. It's one of the most impressive things I've watched in my life.

Beautiful fountain shows with music at certain times during the day. I hear they also have fireworks and evening shows where the fountains are lit up

It was beautiful and exciting to watch. I'm sorry I didn't get to see it in the evening with the light show but I will plan another trip with that in mind. I was in Versailles France 2 years ago on a Friday. No fountains on weekdays! How inconvenient for tourists traveling from around the world. LONGWOOD Gardens PA makes visitors feel welcome with the help of their great Volunteers. I'm going back there ASAP. From OTTAWA CANADA , its a 9 hour drive. Worth it!

Absolutely, positively beautiful! Music and fountains so well synched; almost as if the water is listening and dancing on its own. Great that you're able to set up your chairs at 5pm. Longwood staff are very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly.

The fountain and botanical gardens are totally beautiful. This is a must see if you are in the area. There are tens of acres to stroll and enjoy. The topiary garden beautiful, the fountains are a delight.

One of the most beautiful electronic water gardens you'll ever see. It's literally like a laser light show of water. The colors and spray patterns really get for the laters show of the night as the light sky doesn't do the artistry justice. This is worth the price of admission alone. Brian s camera and tripod for long exposures. Definitely worth the time.
