Lucky to have this in my neighborhood. The amazing Tyreek helped me pick out some awesome herbs for my garden this year. Highlight was the "Strawberry Mint". Also picked up some organic potter soil for containers recommended by him.

Great plant selection. Creative gardening ideas. Great community asset

Very nice garden! They have a wide variety of plants and herbs. If they dont have what you're looking for, you can always make an order in person! The plants are all locally grown or right there in the garden. It gives the community a nice sense of tranquility with the green scenery. Definitely a good place to shop for garden plants.

Lynn Toner

Love it here. They are so helpful and have everything you need.

Alicia Crawford

Love this place! The workers are super knowledgeable, and the selection varies with season. They even have produce and things for sale.

sir dan

If your looking for a hip garden store that also kinda functions as a community garden, this is the place for you. Their selection is pretty good, especially if you're looking for more unique varieties of plants and vegetables to grow. Their staff is pretty knowledgeable. Hours are kinda touch and go through during the week, and weekends are crazy busy in the summer (good for them) but can make for an overwhelming experience. Go early in the morning to avoid long lines.

Ken Gentle

Knowledgeable staff, good selection of urban annuals, perennials, trees and shrubs.

Hasaan Reese

Good place. Would appreciate more thru out the city.

The thing about this place is Ping, he's a duck but the kids like him. There are also chickens, turtles, and a pig named Milkshake. The prices are a little too crazy for me. Especially since you can almost the same things at store, any store. The people aren't very helpful to people that aren't spending a lot of money, in my experience. Oh, they have giant goldfish too in very small area. They used to have Koi but I'm not sure what happened to them. Best things about this place is the animals.

Awesome selection right here in Philly

Bill Biskup

Chris/Nina Fay

I love this farm for herbs and plants but since they added @babasbrew, especially on tap, I will never stop going! Price is more than reasonable, @greensgrow please don't raise it! ❤

A little countryside farm in Philadelphia. A great and unique selection of outdoor and indoor plants. Much better than what you see at Lowe's or Home Depot. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable of flowers, shrubs, and trees to make your home stand out.

The employees (volunteers?) for most part are very knowledgeable which was a lovely surprise. I bought some apple mint and is very hardy and growing like crazy. I had came with the intention to buy catnip bit they didn't have any at the time. The employee knew to go right to the mint section 1st to look (not a lot of people know offhand that catnip is part of the mint family so score right there. Also, after she realized they didn't have it she instructed another employee to keep a list if the commonly requested plants they were lacking. I was impressed by this because I saw that as a sign that they really care about what the customers want. The plants looked healthy and there is also a pig to check out if you're so inclined. I had a really great experience here and it sparked my gardening bug for the year. Highly recommended!!

Good place for plants. I enjoy their holiday events, too. The farmstand is a nice, little outpost for some local foods, but small and not really the primary draw.

Shaylyn Forte

There’s so much to love about Greensgrow. I love that they bring in produce from local vendors and grow their own as well and I love the events they host. The only thing I don’t love is that their houseplants can be a bit on the expensive side.

Jonathan Leczner

All kinds of local, seasonal, and fresh. One of my favorite places.

Matthew MacDermant

The ambiance here is fantastic. It is an urban oasis. The produce, dairy, and eggs are fresh and local. Definitely consider joining the CSA. It provides 85% of our grocery needs (produce, cheese, coffee, and ice cream).

Megan Capie

Loved it. Will be back to volunteer.

Brian Sloane

Lovely urban farm with fresh produce and plants. Great for a weekend stroll. Be sure to say hi to Milkshake the pig, Ping the duck and other animals.

This place is great. Great fresh food, plenty of plant and garden supplies! Be sure to drop by on saturdays, there is always something going on! Can be a tad pricey though. Also, look for their pet pig!

Went to a lovely wedding here. The setting was delightful and private, despite being in the middle of a busy area of northern liberties. There was plenty of room for dancing, eating, socializing and the ceremony ad well as space for the kids to run and explore. Highly recommend!

This is a fantastic place, great for the whole family. They have a pig named Milkshake. They also have turtles. They sell plants and local food and run a CSA I think, though I have never done that.

Lucy Hendricks

Such beautiful plants, flowers, fruits, veggies, etc, but what struck me most was how friendly, helpful & knowledgeable the staff are. It's clear that they are all proud to be there, and they were so genuinely interested in my relatively …

We have been coming here for about 2 years now. At the advice of the really helpful staff, we got close to 800 dollars of dirt/compost from greens grow this season to refresh our potters and were happy to do it. Sorry to say the compost came with some plastics like candy wrappers inside. I should have known then not to use it. I transplanted my tomatoes into the mix of compost and potting soil (all from greens grow) and now every single one has a fungal disease that comes from, you guessed it soil. I called and just got a "sorry about that" This year is gonna be a wash, and whats worse is once the fungus is introduced into the soil its incredibly hard to get rid of. Thanks yall.

James Cadell

We went spring flower shopping and found their select great! It is in the city, has a wide variety of plants and helpful staff.

We participate in the farm share, which is awesome. It's a great place to bring kids, as they can run around and see the chickens and a pig named Milkshake

Jonathan Hermans

Great nursery to buy plants at great and very fair prices. Staff is friendly, informative, and will meet whatever needs you may have.

Latoyia P

Friendly staff, nice quality products. I enjoyed my visit. The staff were friendly. The flowers and vegetable plants were very nice quality. It was nice to be able to see inside the grow houses for the vegetables. Also nice features to visit with the turtle water habitat /feature and the other animals (children and adults enjoyed). Large variety and quantity of herbs. It has nice quantity of some items (vegetables, herbs, certain flowers and plants etc), as the grounds are not as large, not as large of a variety of items, however what they do have is great quality and they carry in large quantity/variety of that item (e.g. purchased and have planted already some wonderful flowers not always found at other shops and they had large selection; they had large section of different types of mint). They have small farmers market area with nice quality of items (vegetables, refrigerated meats and cheeses, local honey, etc). We picked up black garlic, (not always available at farmers markets), which was so scrumptious on garlic bread, tricolor carrots, and couple other items. Pretty good prices on some things, some things little pricier, however this is the case anywhere you shop...just compare pricing. Free street parking out front. Have been a couple of times so far and will definitely return.

Leanne M

Great selection of plants! They strive for the best here and this is such a cute well run and community driven farm! Their produce is good quality and the workers are fantastic.

Jay Shok

Super friendly people that seem to have a decent amount of knowledge on things and a good selection of plants and pots and stuff like that. It's nice to have a decent gardening place in the area and locally-grown vegetables, meats and other food.

Halima Al-Ghurabaa

Many folks here know a lot about farming and periodically hold farmers markets. I've never had a bad experience here and they helped me put together my indoor herb garden!

Nancy Pahl

This is a venue. I attended a Wedding and reception All was excellent.

Joshua Martenson

Best place in Philly to get your plants. They also appear to do some crop share programs. My dog loves to take walks past the chicken and duck enclosures.

Thomas Platt

A non profit farm in the middle of Ole Richmond in Philadelphia. They have several events during the year. Tonite was the first Tango Milonga that was held on their farm, and turnout was magnificent! They are planning to have another one next year.

Ralph Camacho

Local business will always have my support.

Rebecca Martinez

It was raining today, but still a cool place to go and the staff we spoke with were friendly and helpful!

Neil Jacob

This is one of the finest and most fun markets I have been to. They even have Neil's Sharpening Service there once a month. He sharpens on the spot.

Ruth Briggs

I could spend hours exploring Greensgrow. The plants, shrubs, and trees are above average, the variety is great, the staff are knowledgeable and friendly and they have a great selection of urban gardening supplies. Workshops are offered on gardening topics

Ella Gahnt

Fun market for plant growing, nice vendors, great Live Music!

Jerry Lugo

I went over to get some produce. The stuff was fresh and good. The whole place was well organized and the staff was professional. I love this place they provide lots stuff to all.

Joseph Mazurek

Friendly staff. Little expensive.

Victoria Sarmiento

I went on a Sunday afternoon, at 3:30pm before they were going to close. The place was so lonely. I was expecting something different. The house plants selection was limited as well as the pot variety. However the staff was kind but they only attended me at the cashier. I would have liked some advice before.

Stuart Allan

Green fun for everyone.

Darcella Cross

Good for your family, great for our community!!

Brian Keith Thomas

Super helpful staff and an amazing selection of plants and flowers.

Reilly Simpson

I love this place! It's our own little bit of nature in this urban jungle. I keep missing the 3rd Thursday party though! I hope to make it one day but this place is completely perfect and has any plant you could want in your house.
