We like using Green Acres for our yard clean ups and landscaping. I needed my trees and bushes trimmed, as well as I have had problems with insects and disease on my trees and plants. They we're able to answer my questions and completed the job on time at a reasonable cost. They also help me diagnos a problem with my burning bushes. Would definitely use them again.

In October 2014 I visited their location, I was looking for some shrubs that would could be used as a visual barrier their garden expert recommended a Skip Laurel. I was very specific about what I was planning on doing with it. My primary goal was to creative a visual barrier but I wasn’t ready to plant it in the fall. Now it spring and ready to move it is completely dead. When I took it back to Green Acres their first response was we DO NOT take returns. And they proceeded to tell me that I needed to spray the plan with a wax, and that because I kept it in a pot that is why I died. That may be true and I don’t doubt that I could have survived the winter. However, if I know that in the fall I could have just waited until the spring to buy it rather than running the risk. Rather than going to Lowes I went to a Green Acres in Chalfont Pa because I wanted a better product and more experience guidance. But now I am stuck with a dead plant. If it was a $10.00 plant I would have felt like OH-WELL it died. However it was $47.50 last October and they are now selling them for $59.00 and they were willing to give me $10 off the cost. That still would have cost me more than I paid in October and I needed 3 more (which I would have been willing pay the $59.00 price). I sincerely like to support local business and I really want to see them thrive. My goal isn’t to trash them…and I didn’t yell, scream or curse but I did mentioned that I will graciously walk away but I was going share my story of disappointment in their advice and more so customer service. I don’t know the ladies name that I spoke with but I would expect she was either an owner or management because she definitely had the authority to say NO I will NOT exchange “absolutely NOT” that is our policy and it’s clearly stated (which didn’t see). Plants can be challenging and some people have greener thumbs than others…if you are person like me that likes to do things yourself I strongly recommend NOT going to Green Acres in Chalfont Pa….I hate to say it, but one of the big box stores would have been a better place for me to purchase my trees and shrubs.

Bought a beautiful Alley Cat Redbud. Instructions for care were very clear. Price was great as were all the people that helped us decided on the tree. The staff was very knowledgeable and friendly. Finally they did a beautiful job planting the tree. We will definitely recommend Green Acres to anyone.

When it came time to replace our old wood deck we knew where we were going to go to check out all the hardscape colors and designs, Green Acres Garden Center. We worked with Bob and Mike on the design and the right size layout for our property. Their crew did a beautiful job following the plan design to the T and the fit and finish quality was over the top. Make sure you don't shop from these people, the owner Robert cristinzio, will come to your home to to do an estimate and that's where he would offer you wine and roses for certain favors. Then he'll leave wine on your doorstep hoping you'll change your mind.

Just stopped in again for our yearly planting needs. Green Acres never disappoints. While I won;t say they are the cheapest as far as prices go, you get what you pay for. They definitely have a large selection, and the quality of the plants are A+.

We had green acres put in a garden in the front of the house. The 5 or 6 plants needed to be replaced. Including a weeping Japanese maple. Now our 2nd weeping Japanese maple is dying. We followed there suggestions about the watering. How is it the 2 weeping Japanese maple dies in the same place? I am an active gardener. I know what and what not to do. I had a weeping Japanese maple before and it didn't die. They put it in regular dirt which I mentioned about putting soil that would help establish the weeping Japanese maple. They replied they knew what they are doing. We are not happy at all. Spent good money and disappointed. They were very rude to me when- I spoke to them about it. They also pushed our plantings back to Dec. Of last year. I do not recrecommend green acres. Too much money all to be very disappointed. Shame shame on you green acres.

He came out to the house, listened to what we wanted, discussed, advised, gave us an accurate timeline for when the job could be scheduled and what the cost would be. (We had also gotten a different estimate with another company- that guy didn't listen to anything we said, wanted to push his agenda on us and couldn't give us a firm cost "until the work was done"). Bob's crew worked hard and left our place looking spectacular. Marisa at the store was very helpful in assisting me in choosing the right kind of plants. All in all, friendly, accommodating and professional.

Although Green Acres website states it services the Montgomery County area I am very disappointed they will not no longer service East Norriton Township areas anymore due to the distance and cost of their commuting fuel/gas prices. If you live in Montgomery County if you choose Green Acres to service your project I would advise to ask if they will service your area due to distance and fuel costs. Luckily, a few years ago they did design my beautiful landscaping at my home. Mike did a fabulous job with the landscape design and selection of perennial plants to make my home beautiful. To this day, I still get many compliments from neighbors, family, or by contractors when I have other services done in my home. I tried my best to persuade them to do my outdoor yard living space but they will not do it. So disappointed and very hurt by that. I even offered to pay any additional costs/charges to get them to drive out to my home and offered to pay Mike to design me a beautiful outdoor living space. But, they will not do it because I was told no other contractor will not use their design due to engineering reasons. I suppose I can understand that reasoning? But, I will acknowledge it was a nice experience using their service in the past and it was nice doing business with them.

I've found they only help you if you want to spend a lot of money. Went here last year for some polysand. I like to use the gator alliance XP. Purchased 7 bags and went the yard to get it.... Once I got back there the owner tried to give me a cheaper, less durable, and lower strength polysand. When I pointed to the the XP and said no I thought I paid for the gator alliance XP. He then said 'no that's not available, we save that for our own jobs only'. I told him that I didn't want the lesser quality sand and that I would go somewhere else. I received another smug comment from him on my way out and vowed to never go there again. I can't believe a store/ garden center would advertise a product in the showroom and use it for their own projects, but when a customer wants it they laugh at you and say no. Plenty of other garden centers around, don't let Green Acres get you down!!!!

This place is great! I have been here several times and I always get great customer service. I really like the fact that anytime Im in there the people there are extremely nice and helpful. It is a family owned company which is always nice knowing Im supporting a local business. If you go there enough you'll get to know the mother/daughter at the front (and their 2 little chunky dogs ;) I waited to leave a review until a few trips to see if my experience was just a one time thing, but they are very consistent with their knowledge of their products/plants and always willing to go the extra mile...I have a bad back so I needed help putting the mulch in my car. The young girl at the counter said she could help me no problem but I didn't want her to hurt herself. Boy, she must have been doing this for years because she picked them up like they had nothing in them! A+ all around ! Highly recommend!

Green Acres Nursery did a beautiful job with our fence! They replaced a fence that another fence company installed improperly - the previous company did not dig the holes to the required depth and the freezing over the winters caused the fence to lift in several areas. The Green Acres team installed a beautiful new black aluminum fence, at the proper depth, and it really complements our backyard. On another occasion they replaced our Weeping Cherry Tree that had grown too large for its location. It's beautiful and just what we wanted. Great quality products! Great service! Great team to work with! Would highly recommend.
