You must have seen that it reaches an feddbacks average is virtually the top, and it's founded on a very large number of opinions, so we can be pretty sure that the valuation is quite faithful. If people have bothered to rate when they've done well with the business, is that it works.
You know that we don't usually stop to give feddbacks when they are good and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or incidence...
This Gardener is classified in the category of Garden.
This place is stunning. Beautiful spacious well appointed grounds. We spent almost 3 hours walking the grounds. There is so much to see. I think this may be one of the best gardens that I have ever visited. I highly recommend it.
Very peaceful, very pretty, not too crowded like Longwood garden. Will definitely come back
Gorgeous, well-maintained garden, with gentle, winding paths, lovely koi ponds, and unique innovative, unobtrusive, and often beautiful bridges, stalls, and greenhouses. Very manageable for a day's walk with family and friends.
What a great place! My kids and I had a wonderful day exploring and discovering a new treasure. I saw Chanticleer on Facebook on a list of day trips to take in PA, having never heard of it. It was very reasonably priced- $10 for adults, free for ages 12 and under. We enjoyed the scenery on the drive there, had a picnic lunch, and spent over two hours in the gardens. Be sure to check out the Ruins. No spoilers about what's there because I'd hate to "ruin" the surprise of what you'll find! There is a paved wheelchair accessible path that will take you to most of the main parts of the gardens. It really is an enjoyable place to visit. I highly recommend it!
What a magical place! A truly wonderful place to explore and adore!
Beautiful, quiet, historic, enjoy!
The grounds were beautiful and staff was wonderful. It was definitely worth the time going there and I would recommend this place for all to see.
Absolutely amazing!! Definitely will be going back.
If you are lucky enough to know about this place then it should be part of your summer at least once every year. It is never too busy and always gorgeous. There Are a lot of places to enjoy a welk cultivated garden in philly, but Chanticleer is the gem that often slips under the radar.
Great place to walk.
Beautiful grounds, even in the last weekend of the season! I can't wait to go back in the spring or summer when it's warm and more greenery is showing.
This is a must see treasure. So much beauty and inspiration.
Very beautiful gardens and super friendly staff. We had an afternoon well spent at these gardens.
We visited today in Springtime. A lot of cherry blossoms. Pretty large garden with variety of trees , flowers. Admission is10$/ adult.
Perfect day! The spring flowers were heavenly. This garden is a gem. The artistic railings and benches added to the natural beauty of the gardens. The paths allowed the gardens to unfold naturally. A very peaceful, beautiful spot on earth!
Beautiful and relaxing walk through some pretty gardens. Staff was friendly and helpful.
Great garden walks in quality. Plenty of places to sit along the way and soak it all in!
Beautiful, wonderful, just the right size for 2 hours in nature.
Amazing lush. Must have been the combo of sun and rain this summer. Beautiful as always.
Beautiful peaceful place
Very nice for a picnic
Beautiful gardens
Beautiful!
Beautiful Gardens for garden lovers.
An exquisite gem of an arboretum on the Main Line. It is as much whimsical as scientific and is designed to be as appealing to the active visitor as well as persons with mobility impairments. Of special note are the teacup garden, the waterwheel, and the elevated walkway itself (about one mile). Allow at least one hour. Fountains and bottle-filling stations along the paths.
Wow like a more intimate and organic Longwood gardens. Probably better! My kids and I just loved this amazing garden. Each book and cranny us filled with beautiful surprises!
Best garden in Philadelphia area. Every path has wonderful plants. Gorgeous grounds with water features and outside spaces.
One of the main reasons I chose to reside here in PA after my undergraduate schooling was the beautiful availability of preserves, parks, and arboretums. Ironically I did not visit Chanticleer until being here nearly 20 years and what I was missing was nothing short of a little piece of heaven a few miles from home. It’s a storybook kind of beauty with paths leading to a babbling brook, iron benches, perfected colorful gardens, and esthetic natural beauty. The staff is always welcoming and I’m grateful for opportunity to visit someone’s vision of beauty they once had as their backyard!
Just so beautiful with a huge variety of flowers. Picnic tables and Adirondack chairs along the paths.
This place is amazing! Pretty much all outdoors. Lots of local plants. Various environments (forests, feilds, water features, buildings). Much cheaper then Longwood and honestly a lot more quiet and enjoyable.
Beautiful garden. Bring Radnor Library card for resident discount.
It was our first time ever going here, I now know why all my friends visit here frequently, the gorgeous nature scenes, foliage, trickling streams and falls truly make this a pleasure garden. Everything is very well-kept and tended to. Very relaxing and enjoyable experience, would definitely visit again soon
A magical place with surprises at every turn.
Feel gratitude at every step
Absolutely beautiful!!!
A lovely pleasure garden. Many types of gardens. Don't miss the ruins.
company field trip. everyone enjoyed the garden. it is beautiful.
What a beautiful garden! So much variety packed into a relatively small area. Take a picnic because there is no food service.
Love having Friday night picnic with friends!!!! Beautiful!!!!
My favorite garden in the Philly area. Practically a secret compared to more gardens in the area, but none match its beauty, creativity, or whimsy. Friday evenings in summer you can even bring a picnic dinner. With so many nooks and hidden places to explore, it a delightful destination for children or adults.
Beautiful and inexpensive to visit. Tons of tiny details to enjoy and places to rest while you explore.
Fun place I visited for an artistic based meet up.
Relaxing garden that integrates with the natural setting of the property. The best one around. It's like going to a garden party every visit.
Charming landscaping and scenic spots
Its an anazing place. So peaceful and relaxing
Enchanting, a delight! Well worth the trip
Beautiful property lovingly maintained fabulous plantings with marvelous color combinations. Picnic tables available.
Such a lovely garden, so many projects. I appreciate the rubberized, permeable walkways where they did appear, also the winding ramp up to the house. I have never seen so many lotuses and so large. I do not know how such maintenance and order are achieved with so few staff members. Thank you for your focus on education of garden professionals.
Absolutely gorgeous! What a wonderful treat to have tucked in here in the neighborhood! Whether you like gardens, plants, the outdoors, or just want to spend some quality time siting under a tree with a good book this place will not disappoint. The gardens are beautifully laid out and lovingly maintained.
Incredible! Surprises Aaron's every corner. Beautiful, thoughtful, zen, exciting. Do not go in uber hot weather, oops.
Beautiful garden. A magical spot.
Such a gorgeous garden! So much attention to detail and it is clear the staff here is very passionate and knowledgeable about plants & flowers! This is a haven for pollinators! The only negative was how incredibly crowded it was! Probably due to the sheer lack of public parks in greater Philly area.
Chanticleer Garden is one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen! If you have not - it is a must, indeed.
Very beautiful and quiet. There are so many gorgeous flowers. The pond was my son's favorite. He loved looking at the koi.
I spent hours here on a Friday off from work. Camera in hand, I wandered for hours. Before I knew it 4 hours had passed and I still didn't see everything. It was an absolute joy walking around, surrounded by so much beauty and with a soundtrack of birds. I look forward to returning a few times a year.
Beautiful gardens. Easy walk. Alot of it is easy and flat walking paths. Beautiful flowers and plants. We enjoyed our visit and took us a couple hours to walk around. Lots of chairs for sitting and just relaxing and enjoying the atmosphere.
Even when busy it isn't too full. Great place to stroll with the kids. Really amazing in the Spring. You can smell the flowers as you walk. Plenty of spots to sit. Worth a visit.
This was a rare treat. Absolutely beautiful. Amazing plant material and settings.
Gorgeous every day.
We visited this wonderful botanical gardens and had a great time. The staff is so knowledgeable and friendly! The grounds are beautiful. A bargain at $10/person.
I loved this place because it’s a natural art of the earth. It’s beautiful and clean and every time I come I see something different. There’s a feeling of freshness and joy in the energy of the flowers and the earth. It reminds me why I love flower essences and the healing of that! It’s a great place to bring friends, family or a date!
Very enjoyable and nicely maintained.
A beautiful, peaceful walk then a hands on class on mono print offered by PHS. Very enjoyable!
Fabulous, gen of a garden. So much was blooming April 12 2019, magnolias and assorted trees and daffodils. I highly recommend this location.
It's a good place to hangout with friends and family. It's basically a garden with lots of plants, small ponds with fish, a mile long walking trails etc. One can even walk through grass and explore anywhere here. Kids will love this place for sure. There are three picnic spots to have food. There is $10 entrance fee.
Amazing and beautiful botanical gardens and displays. Highly recommend a visit when in the area.
Chanticleer is a beautiful, well-maintained garden, and I've enjoyed every time I've visited! They have a variety of different plants and gardening styles (Japanese garden, succulents, fruits and veggies, etc), and everything is very well maintained. The staff is always friendly and helpful, and it doesn't cost you an arm and a leg to get in like some gardens (they also offer membership passes). I love coming to Chanticleer the most in the early fall when it's not quite as hot or busy. I have so many lovely memories here, and it's perfect for a date or excursion.
Chanticleer is such a beautiful place! The natural gardens and whimsical settings make this a photographer's dream. I've introduced many people to this once hidden treasure that has become quite popular. Open spring, summer and fall, a visit at least once per season is a must as everything changes. The gardeners and volunteers are all friendly and engaging. Want to know what something is, just ask. There's something whimsical and beautiful to be discover down very path. I discover something new each time I go.
Love strolling around these pleasure gardens. Chanticleer changes with the seasons and never disappoints.
Very beautiful garden. Went on an amazing day and walked through the whole thing. Ate at one of the designated areas with food that we brought in. The whole place is an amazing experience with respectful staff. Come here if you want to make memories
It's an absolutely beautiful, serene place where the sounds of nature are the insects, birds, and the wind.
Chanticleer is a treasure. It totally exceeded our expectations. I am a landscape designer from Chicago and have visited many gardens. This is the best garden I have ever visited. The diversity of plant species was astounding. The gardens are meticulously maintained. The attention to detail in the design is first rate. The staff was very helpful, especially B.J. She welcomed us and gave us an overview of the gardens, giving us helpful tips. I can't wait to come visit again!
I thought the gardens were interesting, creative, natural and not
What a beautiful hidden gem! My family went here for a weekend day trip and I could not have been happier with our experience. It's beautiful and well-kempt. There is so much land to explore you could easily spend a whole day here! A very peaceful and fun experience! Just be mindful of what days they are open and when tours of the house are available before you plan your trip.
I Loved This Place , It is a 47 acre Estate with 35 acres that you can explore all day with plenty of area to walk , and places to sit and just watch the stream flow by , there are also plenty of trees and flowers to enjoy along the way . I will definitely be back.
WOW! What a hidden gem. This is the best garden for a afternoon walkabout. Never disappoints
Nice walking trail
Very nice garden with an interesting history .
This is a lovely place. It’s an easy garden to navigate with wonderful references about the plants in bloom. In a small space they have a large collection of plants, in various types of gardens. This is an excellent place for a serious gardener to visit.
Gorgeous, peaceful, expansive grounds to visit. I loved this place. They have a lot of diversity in the flora here; some whimsical, some exotic. They provide you with a good map so you are sure to not miss anything. The trails are well maintained. I saw butterflies, rodents, lizards, frogs, and a snake too. Very cool!
Beautiful place to visit and enjoy the gardens! My first time going and I definitely return again!!
What an amazing place this is! If you haven't been there do yourself a favor and visit and enjoy the Beauty
Great lovely garden to visit. We enjoyed the whimsical details around every corner. Kids loved it.
Lovely place!
Amazing and luscious gardens. An estate to behold!
Amazing place!!! Didnt even know this was here. Only 30 mins away from my house. Will come here a lot.
Beautifully maintained grounds, peaceful to walk around.
ALWAYS LOVE CHANTICLEER Bring many guests to this MAGICAL Place
This was the nicest garden that I've ever been to! Very beautiful spring show!
Incredibly Beautiful Definitely will be going again
Delightful, easy paths
Very nice garden.. beautiful plants, nice paths, plenty of shade for a warm day..
Beautiful place for a garden walk.
This is a pleasure garden. You are not required to know the names of all the plants or march through, trying to see everything. You can just soak in the beautiful sights and smells. There are places to sit and enjoy the view. You can sit on the grass. You can draw or paint. There is sunshine and shade. It is peaceful, unhurried and a fabulous escape into beauty.
Amazing place! Every part of the grounds is unique.
Truly a hidden gem
We are repeat visitors. I love this place.
This garden is an unknown gem. I went there with my wife and enjoyed a beautiful day walking through the grounds. So many beautiful tropical flowers that I have never seen before. Just was a beautiful day walking around the grounds of Chanticleer.
Great place to add admire beautiful grounds
Wow! Around every corner is another meandering, magical, whimsical garden. Imaginative drinking fountains throughout the grounds are a thoughtful visitor amenity. Outstanding all around, one of the most textured and detailed gardens near Philadelphia. Don’t miss it. Cute postcards too.
Truly a pleasure to see the artistic creation of talented landscapers. Tranquil, and has a place for picnics, plenty of parking.
Super romantic and beautiful garden that is thoughtfully curated and kept by some very talented horticulturalists. Lots of sunny spots and shade as well. Plenty of beautiful water features and wildlife. Overall, its a botanical nerd's dream.
Lovely gardens. Repaxing, peaceful and serene. Great place for a picnic. Or just a leisurely stroll.
Beautiful, simply beautiful. I was there early spring, before many of the plants started to bloom. However, the cherry blossoms were on full display as well as several of the Magnolia species. The grounds were immaculately kept and lots of good information about the various displays. Well worth the visit.
One of the most peaceful and happy places in the main line extremely affordable
I particularly like the bamboo and the old building
The most beautiful gardens to visit
It is spacious and whimsical. There is lots of little things to discover.
Excellent gardens. Great place to spend the day and have a picnic
Always something new to see around a corner, down a path, over a hill. Always seems to cover more ground that it's actual size.
Chanticleer was beautiful. We enjoyed sharing the experience with our children and their children.
Excellent for a whole day to spend. Start early.
So cozy, nice for a walk as a couple. Good for love story photoset
We are so glad that we visited this estate. Well worth the $10. One of the nicest Gardens we have ever seen. We will be coming back again.
A lovely local gem
Everywhere we looked seemed to be made for a photo. We loved the elevated walkway! The diversity of plantings is outstanding!
Beautiful gardens very well maintained! The staff was friendly and helpful when engaged. Definitely worth a second visit!
Wonderful! Beautiful! Artistic! Thoroughly enjoyable! Loved it!
An extraordinary garden, carefully thought out and beautifully maintained. In a small area there's an amazing variety of vistas and landscapes, from dry desert to rice paddies.
Beautiful gardens! We can here on a rainy day, and it was still gorgeous.
The most beautiful garden I have been to in the Philadelphia region.
Spectacular gardens and grounds. Must see.
Beautiful and Pleasant park
Beautiful!
Gardens are just lovely in so many respects, well-tended, easy to find, easy to park. No cafe on site, but plenty of clean, accessible bathrooms.
So beautiful! This is a place you must visit. Inexpensive and so much to see. Lots of trees for shade.
One of the most well composed gardens in the Philadelphia area if not the entire country.
Awesome and beautiful garden with many special themed sections. Loved the way chairs are placed throughout the park. Perfect for relaxation and enjoying the sun and breeze! Would totally want to return. Very romantic place. Absolutely lovely!
Beautiful gardens, great place to walk, sit, roll down a hill, take pictures, and have a picnic. They have changed a few things in last 5years; so something a little new each visit. Reasonably priced at $10 per adult. Beautiful carved bridges and benches.
I had the best informal tour with Jeff, the King of Horticulture! I never want to leave. So fun to see wonderful ways plants make a place magical.
Absolutely astonishing garden. Hope to come back soon. Really gives Longwood a run for it's money.
Very nice gardens. Don't forget to take the house tour. Just wish they had a gift area. Go earlier so it is cooler to walk the gardens. Take your own water bottle when it's hot outside.
Unfortunately, if you have a guitar or other instruments/props or large photography bags you will not be allowed in. Even though on their website it states you may bring your items in and out. A friend and I tried to do a simple and photo shoot here with an acoustic guitar today. But I got an attitude from an employee for no reason when I tried to pay. She just stood there pointing her finger at my guitar bag. I tried to say hello and be kind but got interrupted with “what is all that?” and rudely said “that is not allowed”. We tried to explain that I wasn’t even going to play it; it was strictly to get photos of the chords... but she didn’t even allow us to speak! When others were allowed to bring in paint supplies, large strollers, bags, etc. I’m sure it’s Beautiful, but no one deserves to be treated with disrespect. Fortunately we did find Morris Arboretum! They even checked in on us to see our photos and to chat with us! Instruments are welcome there and we will be tagging them in the photos instead
Amazing blend of art and horticulture. There are so many different sections, each with it's own style. The creativity and horticultural excellence on display is truly world class.
Always well appointed. They have limited parking. Once full, you must wait until someone leaves. I actually love this because it keeps the grounds from becoming over crowded. Something visually tantalizing around every corner. It's always a relaxing visit to this garden. Carry in- carry out picnic policy. Quite lovely being able to picnic on the grounds. Have a seat and enjoy the magnificent views. It is a very inviting space with wonderful design ideas. My girls absolutely love it here!
Great experienced at the garden...
if you have been to Longwood Gardens, you may think you have seen it all. But this place is just as amazing, in its own way. Different vibe, different plants, more of a local thing. Absolutely worth the trip
Great place to visit! Incredible gardens!!
Beautiful garden. Brought my camera there and took some really great photos.
Very nice and relaxing to walk
Beautiful, quiet, peaceful what more do you need to know
My favorite garden in the area. Always having something of interest to enjoy. Where I find peace, beauty and gardening creativity with every visit. Hard to leave, but returning is always welcoming.
I think it’s possibly the most beautiful public garden I have ever seen, and I‘ve seen dozens. A garden for gardeners. Incredibly creative and tasteful, with lush plantings throughout.
Beautiful gardens with knowledgeable docents
Best garden experience
Awesome gem!
Always love a trip to Chanticleer Gardens in Wayne Pa. Go often during the season to see the transition of plants and colors. Never disappoints...Brings calm into your life. We can all use a bit of that....
Gorgeous garden arrangements, I will want to go back for each season every year!
