Cathy Burchfield is an absolute artist when it comes to creating seasonal wreaths and swags for her customers at Cedarbrook Nursery. I needed something on a fairly quick basis and she was able to create an absolutely spectacular custom Christmas swag for our home's entry area. If you want one-of-a-kind items to enhance your home during any season, you need to shop at Cedarbrook Nursery!

The staff at Cedarbrook is very knowledgeable and every experience I have had with them, be it regarding my plants, the care of the free mums they gave me and carefully selected a better plant for me, too, or the amazing selection of wines, beers and alcoholic-whipped-creme (three flavors of wonderful) has been pleasant. I cannot recommend them highly enough. They also host a great silent auction and wine-tasting every fall in conjunction with Cozy Cat Cottage. This place is unique, elegant, a little bit of the best kind of artsy and funky and of a necessary, rare breed of shop. They are the kind of disappearing locally-owned business that makes a community into a little village by their presence (plus, the monthly wine-tastings don't hurt). This place is unique and upon moving to the area six years ago, it made me feel lucky to be in proximity of it.

Just to let everyone know, and hopefully Google will correct the hours of operation. The center is no longer open until 7pm. Their current hours of operation have them closing the building at 6pm Mon-Sun. The location itself is convenient enough. I had heard that this place was pretty nice, and upon our visit concluded that they have let the place go a bit. It was a bit dirty, customer service was.. not really that helpful at all. And the owner literally almost locked us in the building and was setting the alarm about to vacate the premises, while we would have been locked inside. Thank god a friend that accompanied us during our visit, walked out to find assistance in this "maze" of a building. The floor plan is extremely arbitrary, down right irrational actually. This is when he discovered that we would have been locked in until we either set off the alarm and were "apprehended" by local police.. That would have been one interesting story to try and explain. Or we would have started crying and eating plants in the green house. So if you plan on visiting this over priced, bio-dome prison. Do it before 6pm. And wear bright colors, and make sure to use outside voices. Also, don't ask for help. Just google it, or ask Siri. Cheers!

Cedarbrook is a beautiful garden center that has lots to offer. My parents visit the garden center every year, just to see the beautiful landscape.

My wife and I arrived at closing time and I apologized and said we would come back. Instead, Larry insisted we stay, have a glass of wine, and take a look around. He personally walked us around the facility, and helped me visualize what I could plant in my garden. Larry and his wife were extremely accommodating and courteous. The place looked great, especially the annuals they grow themselves. We will be back for sure.

Everything is beautiful, we had the pleasure to speak with the owner ,he is such a delightful gentleman, he did give us some sad news that he isn't going to have an Exhibit at the Home and Garden show this year ,he will be missed so much
