Honestly this is the most amazing garden center I have ever had the chance to visit. I was blown away by the selection, of which had everything I was looking for in one place! I can finally start my own garden at home thanks to Joe, Lisa and Chrissy. Whether you're an expert or looking to plant your first garden, this is the place to go!

The customer service, advice, instructions and professionalism at Kings County Nurseries are all top notch. I was about to spend big $$$$$$$$ on a garden designer and then a landscaper. Someone suggested I find a reputable nursery that also provided landscaping services. My research led me to Kings County Nurseries, Inc. I never set foot in their store (yet) but still got wonderful service and help. I called and left a message one day. Joe (the owner) called me back and scheduled a consult. He arrived at my home and assessed my yard and existing plants, etc. We discussed the makeover my backyard needed and what I wanted. Then Joe made his suggestions on design. I had spent hours on their web site researching annuals, perennials, shrubs and roses . . . he was well versed on his inventory! Joe came back two days later with his crew and they worked all day and got the backyard done!!! It is awesome. I HAVE THE BEST BACKYARD ON MY BLOCK!! As luck would have it, the very next morning I had a problem with my hose and could not water the plants as instructed. So being the annoying damsel in distress that I am, I phone the nursery and relay my tale-of-woe. Joe himself came back to my house within an hour and helped me out (it was the hose, not ME!!) and literally showed me how to water the plants and trees properly and gave me further suggestions on watering and care for future (seeing that I am truly a novice). These are good people running a fabulous business and I'm thankful that I found them. All of my gardening and plant needs are going to involve Kings County Nurseries. Thank you for your help and expertise.

Awesome local nursery! It was so big I didn’t know where to begin but the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Bill walked me around the yard, told me what would work and what wouldn’t. He pointed me in the right direction as far as soil and fertilizer and 3 months later my yard is thriving! Highly recommend this shop. Wouldn’t go anywhere else!

I'm so pleased and if they keep up the excellent work I may just opt to keep their subscription instead of my other two.

This was my first time shopping for plants. Everyone at the place was extremely helpful and i had a great experience. The lay out was really nice though i would say this is a place you should go in knowing what you want. My only issue is that many things were over priced and i should have priced shopped before impulsive buying. Example: House Fern was $21 at Kings Nursery and about $13 at home depo. But it is a mom and pops so i should have expected that. Other then that great place with awesome, helpful and knowledgeable owners. The customer service is unmatched and you would never get that at a larger chain. Great variety nested in the flatbush area.

About 3 weeks ago, I purchased an ivy plant from here that was a little pricey, but it looked lovely so I decided it was worth it. But less than a week after I brought it home, I noticed it had a severe infestation of spider mites. I'd been keeping the plant isolated in my bathroom, far away from any of my other plants (none of which have spider mites anyway,) and not near any windows/outer doors, so I know it must have already been infested when I bought it. Very disappointed because the infestation is so bad that I need to throw the plant out, just to avoid infecting my other plants. :( If you buy a plant from here, just make sure to inspect it thoroughly for bugs first!!

I can honestly say, There is no better place to be than King’s County Nursery. It was my first time there but I felt like family. They actually know and really care about all of the plants and helped make sure I understood how to take care of each of them. I would highly 100% recommend them to anyone who loves anything beautiful. 10/10

All the plants I've gotten here have held up great. I love that they offer online and in person workshops too. Haven't gotten to take any yet but excited to do so soon!

The floral arrangements are always beautifully and tastefully done with the best quality flowers. The customer service is also worth mentioning. The whole staff is knowledgable on flowers and always willing to go above and beyond to sure you get exactly what you need! Totally recommend this flower shop , I will be using them for everything.

Awesome and diverse selection of plants and pottery. Everyone is super friendly! When walking in I was greeted by a young girl, Chrissy, not only was she super knowledgeable she was very sweet as well! I picked up a bunch of plants and 20 bags of soil and mulch, everything was loaded into my car by the time I finished paying! This is a family owned and operated business which is lovely. Everything this place sale homedepot, and lowes has, but 1/4 price, this place stuff not fresh, over priced, it does not provide one year warranty as HomeDepot does. No need to buy anything from this place. Please don't fall into gift certificate phony scheme, after you paid credit card, get confirmation via email. That is not enough, you need to physically present a CERTIFICATE that can be framed, if you have not, your money is gone. Total Scam, be ware

Buyer beware!!! When I went there to purchase some garden plants they did not have any organic cells, which is fine. But when I asked if there other plant cells for the garden were GMO or non-GMO. They said, "Yes, all our growers are using GMO seeds" I asked if she understood the severity of what she just said. I personally do not believe you should buy from any garden center that does not understand what a GMO's are and who is Monsanto. Just because it has been passed by our FDA means nothing now since the head of our FDA is the former VP of Monsanto. She went ahead and said well we have no pre grown organic seeds but we do sell them. I am not sure anyone should support a garden center that is using GMO's. If you do not know what this is please do your research there are poisons in the plant that is killing the bees, and causes cancer in laboratory rats. They cross genetically mutated most of our plants now with round up poison inside the plant. If a gardener does not know this and care for others safety you should be aware going into this store.

Bill and Rose were beyond helpful. They spent an hour and a half educating my girlfriend and I about the various types of house plants that they have. Rose even repotted and resoiled about 6 of our plants for a very small fee while explaining to us how to properly take care of each one. This place is a gem and we'll definitely be back!!

I’ve used them for a few years for all sorts of gardening needs. Always helpful staff and willing to go above and beyond. My one comment is their customer service over the phone can be extremely short with you, not too friendly to deal with, and not very helpful with trying to coordinate orders. Just go in person, you’ll have a much better experience.
