Do not use this company. Owner is rude. He thinks you work for him. Talks down to you. Will not give free estimates. Wants to pay him $150 for an estimate/consult. Then when you pay him will not give you a written proposal and commit to a firm price. Stay away!

4 Native Earth Landscapers come out once a week to tend our large rural property. We started this 5 years ago after firing our full-time caretaker. Best decision I ever made: The work is excellent and the workers unobtrusive and courteous.

Their website shows some great work. But, they do not seem to be able to keep their promises. I recommend you look elsewhere. NativeEarth was one of three companies I contacted for bids for my landscape project ($25k+ project). It took several weeks of very poor communication on their part to schedule for someone to come out to my property. Finally, someone showed up and I paid her $150 for the "consultation". She took no measurements, few notes, no pictures and provided virtually no information during the consultation. I was told I would receive everything in an email. A month went by and I emailed her for a status update. She asked for more time, too busy is what she said. Two more weeks go by and I send a second email. She responds with a few sentences regarding what plants will grow around my house and how to treat some aspen on my property. She also said the estimate for the landscape work would be ready the following week. Another week goes by, no estimate. So, I email again and get a response indicating that she is waiting for some input from someone else and finishing up some "sketches". It has been almost another month since then and I have given up on NativeEarth. Even if they did eventually email me a great looking estimate, I would not hire them...

Tim oversaw the planting of my yard so that I have always have something blooming throughout the growing season. He and his crew have earned me many compliments from my friends on how lovely my backyard is all summer long! They do a great job of cleaning up and taking care of all the watering, fertilizing and spraying so that I never have to worry about a maintenance schedule myself. What a relief!

Tim, at Nativeearth Landscaping, and his crew worked on my 1 1/2 acre garden for almost 15yrs. We incorporated espalier Apple and pear trees, grape vines, mature trees, an eight raised vegetable and herb garden, pots, and ground covers, and roses. To not draw off the well for watering, they installed an underground catchment system. He and his crew are very professional, and very quiet. I reasonately sold my house and beautiful garden, but have many good memories. Thanks Tim and guys. SN

As the name implies, they use only native plantings to minimize water usage and ensure that the plants survive beyond one season. As anyone who lives in the high desert knows, it isn't easy to keep landscaping plants alive, no less see them thrive. Tim has the expertise to make that happen!

Terrible Company. Part of their responsibility was to turn off the irrigation in winter and start it up in the spring. Since we were away, they did it in our absence. When we returned home, we had a $2770.00 water bill waiting for us. The city was able to pinpoint our "irrigation leak" to the hour it started and the hour it was terminated. This coincided exactly to the hour (according to their invoice) of their service visits. Apparently they had come to turn on the water and did not turn on the timer so the water ran continuously. When we called them about it, my wife was told that they did not consider us good customers because we complained to much and they were considering terminating us. Good riddance to them! The response below is complete BS. This so called leak was 12,000 gallons/day. Hardly a leak!
