At present the firm has a score of 4.7 stars out of 5 and that score has been based on 4777 reviews.
As you can see it reaches an opinions average is virtually the best one, and it is founded on a very large number of reviews, so we may be pretty sure that the rating is quite credible. If there are many people who bothered to value when they've done well, is that it works.
You know that we do not usually stop to give tatings when they are good and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or incidence...
This Gardener is included in the category of Botanical garden.
This is a fun place to go to. They have a lot of different zones of environments that you can go and check out. My favorite the bug exhibit. They have a bunch of different bugs and some other cool creatures there. The next is the kids area. It's built like a castle and has a bunch of fun things to adventure and run around on. The last thing I suggest seeing is the big glass enclosure that has different environments (desert, Mediterranean). There is a train that connects the botanical/aquarium and the zoo, which would make for a fun day. They have lots of cool events but the big one is during the Christmas season is the River of Lights. Lots of cool light figurines (see pic). It's a great event to go see!
My husband & 4 kids (ages 4-13) came with my MIL & kid's friend this past summer & had a beautiful time. The kids never complained once. It was a hot day, but we stayed hydrated & enjoyed our time. We will be back.
Absolutely love you experience every time I go. Staff is very on top of things and friendly. The Gardens are well-maintained and there are a lot of places to sit and have lunch and just enjoy the space. During the summer they often have concerts as well. You're interested in doing the zoo and the aquarium the aquarium is right next door to the Botanical Gardens and you can take a train over to the zoo. Have some food vendors available and the cafe two are able to bring in your own food as well.
Not a big fan of mosquitos so, is a big NO for me, but you may like it.
We love this place good time to spend good quality time with the family
This was a gorgeous Garden. We went during the offseason and it was still beautiful. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
Always well maintained and so many different aspects of flora and fauna. A great place to have a pass to. FYI, a season pass to the BioPark will also get you into the zoo!
Zoos are great places for kids to see and learn about many different animals, birds, fish, etc
Beautiful place for early morning walls, bunch on the grass with the kiddos. Kids always like the trains and the place is always clean. Worth the cost of an annual membership. We usually do Havens and then as it warms up hot the aquarium just before lunchtime.
Fantastic park! The new butterfly exhibit is so peaceful. Please support the Biopark!
Take a small picnic with you as they have a beautiful park (overlooking a lake) to relax in. They have a great kids area with oversized veggies & bugs to walk thru, a dragonfly area, a butterfly exhibit (open in summer), 2 buildings with various succulents and lush tropical plants, a Japanese garden area, and A MODEL TRAIN to watch (kids love this)! Take the day to enjoy!
Omg amazing and so much fun. A great family trip and mini vacation. 2 kiddos scared of bugs but also super excited entire time here forget their fears and just have fun
We went when it was cold but I definitely plan to go when everything is green and beautiful we still had fun.
So many different areas to explore. From the "wedding chapel" area to the farm, to the Japanese gardens and the desert we had a blast seeing everything they had. My sons loved the huge model train set that even had Thomas and Friends in there
Beautiful! Allow yourself enty of time to enjoy everything there is to see.
It basically Is BEAUTIFUL,everything Just looks astonishing I Would recommend it For visitors In the
Lovely parks. We bought the combo passes which got us into all three parks (Zoo, botanical gardens, and aquarium) AND included a train pass to get in between the different parks.
Great place to explore and relax. My kids loved the free space to run around in and the bug house.
Very relaxing place to walk around and enjoy all of the beautiful flowers and plants. It's very well taken care of and you can tell the employees like to work there. The children's area is so much fun to walk around and let kids play.
I have always loved ABQ botanic garden and because I am out of town, I think I may love it more! Our most recent visit was in October because we were in town for the balloon fiesta. We were trying to find a family friendly activity to do during the day. After going to the zoo and aquarium, we ventured to the botanic gardens, which was still beautiful in Oct. I thought my 2 youngest boys wouldn't appreciate the gardens because they're 9 and 11, but they had fun going through the different gardens and doing the acitivities. If you're a photographer, this is definitely the place to come for those great shots!
What lovely Christmas light scenes. You could just place yourself among all of the beautiful lights that were shaped liked dragon flies or grasshoppers or some other extraordinary designs that lit the park up and seemed to light up the festivities to near real life. It was just awesome and of course that's an understatement.... It was truly "Like WOW!!!"
The butterfly garden was so much fun for the kiddos. We also enjoyed a family picnic in the grass and loved all the shade the trees provided
One of the best places for picnics in Albuquerque. It's always worth a lovely stroll through here.
I love strolling through the gardens here and enjoying the light displays near the holiday River of Lights events.
I love coming to the botanical gardens at any time of year, but especially during the spring and fall, when the flora and foliage are at their peak. This time when I went, I was unfortunately a bit too early to catch the main beauty of the spring so most of my visit was confined to the greenhouse that houses the tropical plant varieties. There were a few beautiful annuals (pansies and ornamental cabbage), and some bulbs that were in bloom (daffodils and tulips), but most of the other plants were dormant. There was a cool exhibition of coal/steam powered model trains that were set up in various areas throughout the gardens. They always seem to have different events throughout the year. There is a Bug-arium which features a collection of exotic insects from around the world, a huge butterfly exhibit where live butterflies flutter around guests as they live out their lives surrounded by their favorite flowers. They have an older farm area on the property as well as a Japanese style garden, a Spanish style garden a rose area, a small waterfall area and several other water features. This is a good place to take photos if you like still life photography or portraits, as the blooms make stunning focal points or backdrops to any photo.
Beautiful gardens and a great place to take the kids.
It was much bigger than I expected. The gardens are well taken care of and beautiful. Great for adults and children.
I really enjoyed the Botanic Garden. There were many different environments to explore. I especially liked the Sasebo garden and the Koi pond and waterfall!
It's a fun experience, definitely check out the bugs, it's nerve wracking. Great place to go on a date or with the family. (Or both at the same time, I guess).
Japanese Gardens were closed due to a fire and the bug exhibit was also closed however the parts that were open or lovely. It is rather confusing and one can get lost easily as it whines around with very little signage like a maze. The Children's Fantasy Garden was extremely confusing people were getting turned around and couldn't find their way out.
Gorgeous place to visit in spring when everting is blooming. My son loved the aquarium. I could almost bet the fish were posing to take pictures. Gift shop and restaurant are expensive. Great staff.
Perfect weather, beautiful foliage! And grandkids to share it with!
I cannot say enough great things . All the exhibits were displayed in a professional way like they should be. All employees were courteous and helpful. My wife and I were very pleased with all. Zoo, Aquarium , Arboretum and the bugs.
Beautiful gardens! I love walking around and exploring with my kids, we all always have a great time.
Was a nice clean zoo. Price was good and it looked like the animals were happy with encloses with room yo run. It's a shame so much is being renovated. The best animals were the gorilla's and the wild cats. Didn't get to see the dragon but that's OK. My biggest complaint is that the train was expensive and a disappointment. A lot of money to see the back of the house.
Very beautiful! Loved the Mediterranean greenhouse and miniature train track.
A great place to spend an afternoon with family and friends. Great trails to follow and plenty of pretty things to see. A beautiful park to pack a lunch and enjoy in the gardens.
We went to the aquarium my granddaughter had a lot of fun and we also found a slide there
It is a beautiful place. We ran into a UNM class going through and learning about herbs and overheard really interesting facts about the plants. I definitely want to sign up for that 2 week summer class at UNM to know more about the botanical garden.
Our family loves the Botanic Gardens. It is beautiful any time of the year, not just in the spring and summer. Personally, my favorite area of the Gardens is the Heritage Farm. The farmhouse is so cool. We like to go the Apple Festival they have here in October. It is so fun and there is so much going on. We also like going to the "River of Lights" here during the winter. It is pretty amazing.
This was a lovely place to spend an afternoon for an entire family (7yo in tow.) Lots of nooks and crannies and places to explore.
I absolutely love this place. Being a blind individual I can really get into the aroma that I find in this area. I love to smell all of the plants / flowers. I wish that I could see it. The atmosphere is awesome, and I do remember having a funeral there fourth one of my relatives. It was a lovely memorial service, and I could not imagine it being held at any better of a place. I do however, wish that their sidewalks were a little bit easier for a blind person to follow. There were certain sections around there that were difficult for me to feel with my white cane. Also, if there was a way that they could make it laid out so that a blind person knew where they are, where they were going, and how to get to where they want to be. I would be more than glad to assist him on this if they should ever choose to take on such a product. I do not know if they have something like that there, and somebody just did not tell me about it. If they do not have it yet they should put it in soon. Also, I am still a little bit frustrated because, somebody in the administrative Department there told me that she was going to get me a job somewhere around there, and then she changed her story. I am in dire need of employment so that I could finish the last four classes of college that way I'm a graduate. When people mislead me like this it is very frustrating. I have a strong work ethic, I am a hard worker, and just because I am blind does not mean I am less than I am. I am more capable than people who can see. I just wish for the opportunity to show it. I do not want to give this person's name, but if she ever sees this review I'm sure she'll know of whom it is that I am speaking. I really would have liked to have a job here if they would have given me an honest chance. I have a very Green Thumb, I come from the country, and I love this kind of work.
Absolutely fantastic park! It is so tranquil and relaxing. The trees are blooming for Spring right now so it is quite gorgeous. The jungle room with all the hot house plants was my favorite! It smells INCREDIBLY great! So my BFF and I just meditated for a bit in there HIGHLY RECOMMEND this park!!!
I was not sure what to expect. It was a great place for the kids. I would go as part of the zoo package, it was great, but not that big.
This place is pure magic. I am not even a plants person, but you don't have to be to enjoy the beauty in this place. I happened to be here during the annual bonsai show and it was so cool to see all of the different ways people curate their trees. Don't miss the Japanese garden or cactus house!! It sucks they put the horses near the garden though, not a pleasant smell.
Incredibly beautiful and well maintained. Includes reduced entry fees for local new mexicans, and the aquarium is sectioned off to a different portion of the park. Lots of places to sneak off to for more quiet areas, and the park in the middle of it all is very lovely.
Cool place love to walk around the gardens. The colors and smells are incredible. The butterflies and bugraium the kids love.
now with penguins!! gets better with age
An army of gardeners must take care of this place because it's fantastic. Tons of shade make walking outdoors enjoyable on all but the hottest days in Albuquerque. People are friendly and don't be surprised if you end up having a conversation with a stranger. Do yourself a favor and get a season pass. There's all variety of plant life to see, touch and smell. Plenty of parking even for large vehicles like 4 door pickups with huge tires and bling wheels that scream midlife crisis
It's a beautiful place to walk and see the beauty of life with your own eyes...!...
Alot of the flowers were blooming was great to see
Look at my review for the acquarium and you'll understand my issue with this place. Avoid if you can. Not worth your time or your money.
Very nice garden to go explore, very kid friendly too. Bug museum ( Bugerium) was very unique.
Excellent botanic garden. The garden railroad is outstanding and even the kids "underground" garden is a nice visit for adults.
Alot of the zoo part was closed but the rest was well worth the price. Had a good time
The BioPark is a beautiful, often missed and unremarked standby of Albuquerque. It has a different experience during each season. I've never had a bad experience when I go. The addition of the Japanese garden is beautiful during the spring and summer. During the winter, the River of Lights is hosted here. The River of Lights is absolutely gorgeous! It's different every year, and I've been every year since 2005. I have no plans to stop; I highly recommend it.
Took my disabled son there and he had a blast really fun place to visit with the family definitely recommended
I was disappointed the Japanese garden was closed. There are many wonderful outdoor settings to relax in. I wish they had more documentation on the plants. All in all it made for a very relaxing day.
Everything was amazing but the weather sucked. Too hot. I bought an umbrella from the shop and boy... that this was horrible.
Enjoyable. Happened to be there when they were feeding the fish in the large aquarium. Such fun. I photographed it! Started into the Botanical Garden, however a storm sent us running for the car.
Pretty good garden, not super big, but had great setup and flow to it. Since you get to go-to the aquarium as well worth a stop
Don't visit before April. April through September it's amazing. Beautiful variety of plants and areas.
Very nice visit. They have a butterfly grotto and insect house, children's magical garden( our kids favorite) and model trains. It was too hot so we didn't make it to the horses or desert garden. Staff were very friendly.
Really beautiful and cool. Their seasonal events are so amazing and worth going to.
The aquarium is wonderful for both kids and adults, and the gardens are peaceful and relaxing.
Very beautiful gardens. My family's favorites are the Japanese garden. It is large and beautiful. A perfect place for a wedding. My kids love the farm. They love looking what is growing in the garden and visiting the farm animals.
Not normally a place I visit but I fell in love with this botanical garden. I took my 2 year old and we spent several hours just enjoying this place. Beautiful displays and tons of room to roam.
Not much has changed in the past 2 years. There was a Japanese flower arrangement exhibit last weekend in a building adjacent to the Japanese loop. The grounds are kept nicely trimmed. The newest bugarium is okay but there is already a bug exhibit in Santa Fe with more bugs. More unique items in the future would be great to make the cost of the garden worth it, especially for out of state residents.
Beautiful as always. Wish the koi fish in the Japanese Gardens had dispensed food.
Nice Botanic gardens. Did not have usual quantity of flowering plants, but had many. Also has a very nice butterfly house.
My favorite place in the world. I love being here. They take such great care of their animals and plants and flowers and any wildlife or bug. It's the best and I always learn so much!
The best attraction in New Mexico. You can just feel all the love that goes into this place.
Affodale, beautiful, relaxing experience. I wasn't expecting much, it was included with a zoo and aquarium admission. I'm glad I took the time to walk through.
Bought a BioPark pass. So checked out the Botanical Garden. It was more entertaining for my wife and daughter. Had a great time.
This is a nice place to go and see unique gardens. The Japanese one was our favorite with the gorgeous waterfall and flowering trees. The children's garden was also fun, even for full grown kids. The train garden was captivating and we could have spent more time watching it.
Awesome place I really enjoy taking my family and hanging out here
Just wonderful. It's clean and shady lots of places to sit and enjoy nature. Well worth it.
So beautiful, does take time to see so make sure you bring a cooler and snacks
Incredibly disappointing. This is top 12 in the nation!? Absolutely not. Only impressive to people who have never been to a botanical garden before. Would give zero. But the children's areas and the trains are actually quite delightful.
A very enjoyable place to visit. The fairy tale garden is wonderful for kids, Cottonwood alley creates a snowstorm in June but the Botanical garden falls short as an educational resource an the landscape architecture leaves you with an assembly of gardens that do not communicate with each other.
Beautiful place for bicker and hiking. Wonderful weather!
So pretty. Even in fall!
Always love it here we have a family membership and like to enjoy the beautiful flowers and cool ponds. The newer bug exhibit is exciting I love it more than my kids I think. They have multiple gardens and a outdoor train set. Many couples and wedding photographer's including more use the BioPark as a natural beautiful background year-round! Autumn is probably my favorite time because they has this castle and it looks mesmerising covered in leaves and more so in multiple colored leaves!!!!
Albuquerque Summer Night concert series was a great way to unwind. The music was good however the mosquitoes were out in full force. If you plan on attending apply repellent before hand since most everyone picnics. Opportunity was their food service. Workers seemed to be eating with their own plates near by and when you ordered they would push them behind and serve patrons. We didn’t order anything since there weren’t many healthy options available so we opted for a glass of local vino instead.
This is one of the top spots to check out while in Albuquerque, New Mexico. I visited this place while living in the state and it was beautiful, it's a good walk through and if you take the time to appreciate it all, you find yourself mesmerized with it all. My kids had a lot of fun and so did I, I wish I had more photos to post but they're backed up on the cloud somewhere, but even so, I highly recommend it and check it out. The price of admission is well worth it, I can't remember what we paid for but it was definitely worth it and I will be back again. Welcome to the land of enchantment. Such a beautiful place, indeed.
It's a nice calm place to go with or without children. Wandering around is always interesting and you can find areas you've forgotten or just never seen. If you're interested in eating at the Cafe just know that the prices have gone up but the service and quality has diminished. We've been going for many years and not much has changed in the Aquarium. I feel that if they changed the layout of the entrance it could be more inviting.
Wonderful, wonderful place to spend time with guests of any age. I love having picnics with my family in the grass, and walk around and find various nooks and corners to explore. I love visiting the animals on the "farm", taking the train, and feeding ducks and geese bird food. My kids always enjoy their time there. The bugarium is amazing too! The Japanese gardens are also worth visiting, it's beautiful!
This is our second visit here and it is a wonderful place for our two toddlers and for us. Fun for the whole family!
I could visit this BioPark over and over again. The gardens offered something pleasing and interesting at every turn, and the aquarium had us chatting for hours after we left. Otters are as cute and funny live as they are on the Nature Channel.
A value but a small exhibits. The botanical garden was lovely and large.
It's a great place to stop and see the exhibits or grab a bite to eat. Always a fun visit for the kids!!
I really liked seeing the botanical gardens at ABQ BioPark.
A great time was had by all. Young and old all enjoyed this aquarium. Friendly and clean.
It was still early spring but the gardens were clean and beautiful. My son really enjoyed the children's garden and the trains.
This place is like a sanctuary! Very peaceful. Very well kept. I loved so many spots in the garden, especially the Japanese garden!
A very peaceful and relaxing place during the day.
Loved the kids garden, which was he highlight of the park - expansive and well maintained, this was so much fun! From the giant carrots to the pumpkin hut and the creeping trailers on the castle wall, this place has to be ability to transport even adults back to their childhood - the whole family enjoyed the experience. The butterfly garden, rose garden and tropical oasis were well worth the price of admission, not to mention the miniature trains. Leisurely walk makes for a nice morning activity - very pleasant experience, especially in the middle of a city.
This place is huge! Be prepared to walk, walk, walk. Sunscreen and a big hat are your best friends. We went in the middle of July and we still have the suntan. There are some beautiful sights though. You really have to go early if you want to see everything.
Very beautiful!! The Mediterranean greenhouse smelled wonderful! My favorite little thing was the train exhibit! Very cute! Unfortunately I lost my favorite necklace pendant, but maybe it was worth it to see all the beautiful things in nature!! 5 stars!
Great place for adventure. Wonderful experience. Went there during Christmas for the train ride and to see the light exhibits. They were awesome and hugh. Will go again many times over. Don't you miss out..
I really enjoyed this place. Takes time (2hours) to walk around n see everything. Will go back for sure
Wonderful visit. Loved the gardens.
Cool staff lots of cool exhibits and fish to see
People were talking about how great this place was, and I'll admit it was. But, the place was very small and our group made it through in about 15 minutes. I should have watched the Nature channel
The gardens are quite nice. Be prepared for some walking. Something for all ages! Finish the visit with a walkthrough of the aquarium. Your ticket gains access to both the botanical gardens and aquarium. You can also purchase and ride to the zoo from here too.
It's clean it's beautiful relaxing and they have really good concerts there as well.
Very peaceful. Perfect weather for a walk.
I would highly recommend this place. Its beautiful and a tranquil experience.
A very nice afternoon! The beautiful gardens were worth enduring the heat. Also, look for half price day!
Great place to go walk around before it gets to hot. Having the botanical garden, aquarium, and bugarium all in the same location was nice. Great spot to bring family. Before I forget there are venders in the garden with liquor licenses, which was vary convenient when it got hot.
Butterflies are beautiful. Saw some hatching out of their kacoon...
The zoo is a little short of animals but there is plenty to see and do here. Highly recommend taking the train to the zoo from the aquarium/garden for the first timer.
Crowded as it was half price day, literally zero parking, but just as wonderful as normal. One big issue, though, was when I was standing in line behind a couple who has just gotten up to the window and as they were attempting to speak with and pay the attendant, she placed a closed sign over the transaction portal in the glass and told them she wouldn't help them. I wasn't the only one behind them, and no excuse or apology was given.
This is a great place to visit on hot days. The air conditioning inside is really nice and since most of the building is dark inside enjoy the great views.
Such a wonderful place! It's beautiful. Absolutely beautiful. Highly recommended!
Their bi-monthly gardening seminars are a great opportunity to grow your knowledge. Beyond that, the walk around the gardens is always a beautiful stroll.
We visited on Mother's Day with my children and grandchildren. The gardens are absolutely beautiful, there's Something for everyone! We also had a lovely picnic out on the lush grass beneath the shade trees. We will visit again soon.
So beautiful!! Love the butterfly exhibit! It’s such a beautiful spot to explore!
Makes me feel good. Nice place to visit often.
The gardens are a lovely place for beauty, quietness, meditation and enjoyment. The Butterfly Pavilion and Bug Museum are very interesting.
This is a must see botanical garden. Although our tour through was in early February we absolutely loved the zoned layout and the two green houses featuring Mediterranean and Desert settings. The Japanese garden area was lovely with an amazing waterfall and small lake ⛲ setting. We spent three hours walking and relaxing. We will be back in March to view the changes as the season moves into late spring early summer
The gardens for the children to roam among is a great place for young imaginations and everyone young at heart. My son had a great time here roaming among all the awesome sights and sounds (the bee buzzing near the seed starter) and loved playing in the large sand pit near the dragon by the entrance. This is a great place for families, friends & individuals alike.
Really an amazing place. A good surprise in the middle of the Desert.!
The Botanic Garden is such a beautiful place, a great way to decompress after a long work week. I never get tired of it, and look forward to River of Lights!
This is a beautiful place to visit during Christmas. They have what is called Rivers of Light. "River of Lights is New Mexico's largest all-original holiday light show with over 550 sculptures and millions of twinkling lights!". It is a very family friendly atmosphere. The weather is cool but enjoyable. You need to keep an eye on your children as it is night time and there are many exciting places kids may easily wander. Some are like mazes. Finding a parking during Christmas season may not be easy. Going early may be advisable.
This is a really nice park and a good place to spend a couple of hours if you want to get outside and go for a relaxing walk through nature without leaving city limits. The River of Lights festival starts around Christmas time and is awesome, but whatever you do, don't go on opening night because the place is so packed you can't even enjoy it.
Just a great overall experience. Park is very clean and well maintained. Prices to enter are very reasonable and they do offer military discounts. Would be a good place to visit if from out of town. Many things to do in the park. The Aquatic Center is well laid out it's a bit small but worth the price
We didn't see much of this, as we were tired after the zoo and aquarium. But what we did see was very beautiful.
Much is often said about The City of Albuquerque: with how much it leaves to be desired and all. However, every city no matter how rough typically has its few surprise attractions that stand out as an exception. For The Duke City, one of them is the ABQ BioPark - Botanic Garden. During my two-year stay in the city, I visited in the Botanical Gardens on several occasions. Whether it was during the spring, summer, early fall, or during the Christmas season as the parade of lights was taking place; the Garden has always been a noteworthy destination The BioPark itself features a vast array of flora and fauna that any nature enthusiast would appreciate. Climate controlled areas such as the large glass greenhouse showcase uniquely exotic plants ranging from the tropical to the desert-dwelling. During my visits, one characteristic I always appreciated had to do with the layout of the park. Rather than just present a seemingly never-ending arrangement of plants, the BioPark sections itself into uniquely designated "themed" areas. The Japanese Garden is one such example, as it features combinations of East Asian architecture and plant life. The Heritage Farm farm is my personal favorite for a number of reasons: it features a small homestead style house, a barn with live animals, and row after row of apple trees. Other attractions include the Bugarium which is a small and well-maintained facility that features a decent variety of tropical insects; something that the kids tend to enjoy in particular. If visiting anytime between summer to early fall, make sure to visit the butterfly house which located just a few steps away from Bugaium. It's an interactive house where visitors can get up and personal with over a dozen exotic species of butterflies. The staff I have found to be particularly helpful, as they are usually more than willing to answer any questions you may have regarding the exhibits. The ABQ Biopark is operated under The City, but rest assured that your tax dollars are well spent here. Unlike other government-run attractions throughout New Mexico, the BioPark maintains a standard that is superior to most; the grounds are well kept, facilities are taken care of, and the staff is by and large, pretty friendly. Admission isn't terribly unreasonable either, especially considering that they could charge much more and perhaps get away with it.
My daughter and I love this place. Long time member. The events are amazing!
Has a lot of charm, always leave feeling better than I came in. Well maintained, carefully arranged and always friendly staff. There's always some new exhibit or activity. Great for families and couples for a nice outing.
Make sure you have a few hours to devote to this place. It's a good size with lots to see and explore.
Love the botanical garden, it's really beautiful this time of year and during the summer they have a concert series on Thursday evenings which is reasonably priced. It's a great evening to sit in the grass and picnic. You can bring in food. They offer alcohol for purchase but naturally it's incredibly expensive.
Fun for kids. Very small aquarium.
Great place for kids. Nice park. Well kept .
Loved the sharks. There are so many different kind. Kids loved it
The best part of the Albuquerque Bio park - and I enjoy the zoo and aquarium.
Best botanical gardens I’ve been to in years. Very well organized. Beautiful flowers and excellent gardens to walk around and even to have a nice picnic.Educational and perfect for all ages! Lots of detail to the children’s miniature train stations! So many trains and interactive so little ones can participate in the stopping and going of trains. Bug museum was AMAZING! Butterfly garden didn’t have butterflies but only due to the hatching process going on.
Very beautiful! Nice and quite
Beautiful and fun on a hot day. We were tourists and would most likely go again next time we are in town. Very friendly staff and you can bring water bottle in !
World class! Beautiful, educational, expansive, fun. Lots of unique aspects and clearly a source of community pride. So glad we went!
Absolutely gorgeous. One of the prettiest and most well organized botanical gardens I have visited. Was a very relaxing environment!
A great place to take the kids to and ride the train from the zoo and back if you got more than one child and need something to do then this is the place!!!
Currently the botanical gardens are showcasing the River of Lights! Its a great opportunity to view an amazing demonstration of light art. Its prefect for a date night, families and kiddos. This would be a fun idea to take family and friend from out if town. They have food, yummy treats and even alcohol beverages. Fun for all ages.
I got so many wonderful pictures. It is gorgeous. Great place for an ameture photographer.
This is so beautiful, lots of flowers during the spring. Its a huge place with lots of things to see such as a bug farm,, Japanese garden, tropical flowers and much more. I had fun while there, and u can stay there for 3 hours, because there is so much to see.
It was really hot, but a wonderful place to visit. I especially liked the butterfly garden
Off Season. They are working hard to get the place ready for summer. Some of the exhibits need some attention. We only spent about an hour here and less then that in the aquarium. We will be back just hope they spend a little more time on the exhibits.
I was surprised at just how much I LOVED the botanical gardens! Was so nice to walk through, and so much of a variety to see! Wasn’t that hot either, as a lot of the areas had shade. Was absolutely beautiful, and definitely worth it!!
This is a great place, but be prepared to do a lot of walking. So, just stay awhile. They have concerts at the amphitheater too. So much to see and do!!!
Worth stopping to see. Reasonable botanical garden
We love visiting the gardens. Favorite thing is the bugs!! My son made friends with the ray.
Such a beautiful gem and the butterfly garden is awesome! You have to go into the bug exhibit too. So creepy and cool! We loved it!
Beautiful botanical garden experience! Some portions were sectioned off, probably because of some ongoing development. However, that did not deter the immersive experience of the garden.
Could spend hours exploring the many flowers and trees. The farm house setting with the vegetable garden, fruit trees and grape vineyard was amazing
The Botanic Gardens of Albuquerque, part of the overall BioPark (Zoo, Aquarium, Gardens), is fantastic. They have plants galore, and any season is a fascinating one to visit. From roses, to a healing garden, to a Japanese garden, to desert, to a BugArium, to a butterfly enclosure, model trains, ponds, a fabulous kid fantasy garden that shrinks your down to the size of an ant, a fully working farm, and more, this is one of my favorite places to visit. You just can't go wrong coming to the Botanic Gardens!
One of my favorite things to do in Albuquerque. Great place to unwind, and have picnic with the family. Be shur to stop and smell the flowers. And bring oyster crackers the feed the fish in the Japanese garden.
I love this place. It was a lot of fun. We went to the aquarium, followed by long stroll to the Botanical Gardens. If it's a sunny day, be sure to bring a hat. It's a lot of time Outdoors. If your photography both be sure to bring your camera. There are an endless number of shots here at the Botanical Gardens. This year, 2019, The Butterfly Pavilion opens the last week of April.
