Absolutely loved their professionalism on the job. Awesome rates quick repair .. the competition's price was much higher. The wait time for their competitor was two days before they could even get a technician out to our house. I'd recommend Garden City over temp Rite repair any day.

Congratulations. You've earned my first negative review on the internet. After 2 horrible experiences I felt it was my duty. This operation is terrible. Specifically, the CS, management and billing policy. It costs a fortune just to get them on site. Then they grossly overcharge to diagnose or fix anything. Appears they will happily take advantage of folks in need of a repair. The other 2 service providers were happy to diagnose and correct the job for far less than these guys. Even after the nearly $400 i lost on their site visit. Worst in town by a country mile. Same exact experience 2x in the last year. Both times a last resort and now I remember why. Call anyone but these guys.

We called because we had a leak from the tank of our aged two piece toilet, plus we wanted furnace maintenance. Wayne the plumber and Joe, the heating guy came and were both professional and personable, thanks guys! Wayne said that the fix might need a tweak, as this is possible, especially with old toilets. As we now have a bowl under it, and can see where that leak is, we were hoping that Wayne could come by and give it another shot at stopping it. I realize that it said: "No warranty", however, considering that GCP&H is a longtime Missoula business, I ask that you look again at this case-$300+ spent for 1 1/2 hours work between the two guys. Again, Wayne's ('cause I was alongside him) and Joe's work is not In question here, I just feel that it'd be in the 'fair' zone for him to be allowed to come by and reasses and turn a wrench for 5-10 minutes. Don't bother. Unless you are building an apartment complex, they will screen your call and say that they are too understaffed to do any plumbing work. Furthermore, the last two estimates I received from them (1-2 years ago) were both the high bids, significantly more than anyone else. In short, they can't be bothered with residential customers and don't want to hire more staff. It's a shame, as they used to be a good plumbing company...

We had our boiler system go out in the dead of winter! Garden city was so prompt with getting it fixed. They are responsive and reliable. They worked hard over the weekend to get our house heated again as soon as possible. I highly recommend!!!!

I could not be more pleased. Even after my not being able to be there at the designated time, as soon as I was on my way, your dispatcher, Ryan McLean, was at my home moments after I myself arrived. He had gotten the part, which surprised me, and installed it very quickly and expertly, even insisting on checking the furnace to make sure that the new thermostat was indeed working. We were extremely disappointed with garden city plumbing and heating and won't be using them in the future. The cantankerous tech was impatient and uncaring about our statisfaction and chose to stick our new water heater right in the middle of our coat closet. They completely overcharged us for the heater and made us pay for additional parts that the inspector said were unnecessary. They won't itemize a bill for you, so you're left in the dark as to what you've paid for, which is absolutely unacceptable. Our biggest complaint is that noone even bothered to suggest that there were other options we could have considered, which we would have most definitely chosen to do. This was not a wise investment of our almost $2,000.

They say it will be $65 to come out and see what's wrong and then you can decide if you want them to do the work for additional charges. Couldn't find what was wrong, didn't help in any way and charged over 200 dollars for the visit. Said he would talk to some other people at the office to try and figure it out then call me back. Only thing I've heard is how much money I still owe them. Nice enough guys…..Just don't be fooled financially

Asked them to replace a cold water dip tube in a 50 gallon Rheem hot water heater. (Was never asked what kind of house I lived in.) They sent out a plumber who had absolutely no experience in replacing this piece. Claimed he only replaced 2 in his 20 year career. Ended up paying $132 to find out THEY DON'T SERVICE MOBILE HOME hot water heaters. No dip tube replaced so basically I'm at the same spot as before. $45 initial call $87 for unscrewing a few screws and using their expensive $300 OHM reader to see where the problem is. Still only have about 10 gallons of hot water at time. Will be looking elsewhere for more experience.

I manage a large 7 story building in downtown Missoula and having a good plumbing and mechanical firm working in my building is imperative. I have been using Garden City Plumbing and Heating for several years and they are the best firm I have ever worked with. I have had many opportunities to work with the plumbing and mechanical side of this firm. All of their techs are top notch and do an excellent job, are through and clean up when the job is complete. They have after hours emergency service which is a huge relief when you need service after business hours. Garden City has a preventative maintenance program that is great and they keep on top of all the mechanical systems to keep them operating efficiently and will let you know when you should start budgeting for replacement. Their office staff is very friendly and lets you know when the tech has been dispatched. Some of the office staff came to my building personally to see the equipment that is in the preventative maintenance program so when I call for service they are familiar with what the tech will be working on. I Highly recommend Garden City Plumbing and Heating.

Unclear what the initial $65 charge was for. Technician inspected unit and found nothing immediately wrong and charged almost $200 total. That is a lot for an inspection. I had my whole house inspected for $600. Technician was nice enough but pricing was outrageous. We will be looking elsewhere when we need future assistance or a new AC unit.

Repair man came out, spent 20 minutes looking at my furnace that is used minimally, told me it wasn't venting properly and I needed a whole new furnace which would be about $1500. Didn't one time get up and check the vent pipe to see if it was clogged or anything. Told me he was able to bypass the vent and it fired up just fine so this tells me I don't need a new furnace lets problem solve. So I get up on ladder and clean out vent. Have another gentleman help me and he replaces the vacuum piece that attaches to furnace and it works just fine. Garden City charged me several hundred dollars for their service. I then spent $75 for the next guy to fix the vacuum piece and furnace has worked ever since. Not at all impressed.

I highly recommend Garden City Plumbing! They are professional, kind, and skilled. We had a leak in our upstairs bathroom that was leaking into our basement and they responded quickly and eased our way through the process. We have been incredibly impressed with the team at Garden City Plumbing and would recommend them to anyone!

Recently I had written an excellent review regarding service to my septic system. I write today to downgrade that review. My system worked well for three days before the symptoms of concern reappeared. Although the work done to the front end of the tank was well done, the outgoing pipe from the tank to the drain was not checked. Today a different company found a blockage 2 feet from the end of the tank! Garden City plumbing gave me an estimate of 8500$-15600$ to fix the current issue! I question why they didn’t check the outgoing pipe at excavation- 2 feet away! I paid 7120$ for the work they did. Disappointed, Frustrated, Concerned. Get a second opinion if your smart. I, unfortunately did not

I have been thoroughly impressed with Garden City's responsiveness and promptness with my plumbing and HVAC emergencies. It seems that my furnace likes to go out on the weekends orHolidays and Garden City has always been able to help out. One year, during the cold snap in January, our furnace went out on New Years Day when our daughter was a month old and Garden City sent a technician to fix it. Would highly recommend them!

We had a very old sewer service line that was stopped up. Garden City sent Patrick out to determine the problem and it turned out that the line was full of tree roots and there was no outside cleanout. He and his crew were extremely responsive, kept us functional to the highest degree possible while adding a cleanout and replacing a significant part of the old clay pipe. They were great communicators, always responsive and did a great job. We will be using Garden City to clean out the line on a regular basis and highly recommend them for your plumbing needs.

They were professional and very helpful. I called garden city as my tub faucet was spewing hot water, it was a bit of a wait to get them out here as every plumber in Missoula seemed to be booked but they showed up when they said they would and fixed the problem. Also made some suggestions on other pluming issues I was having that saved me a bunch of money. I was very pleased with the service.

Don't believe the web site; customers are not important to this contractor. I arranged for emergency furnace repair with Wendi Biggs from Garden City Plumbing and then at the end of the business day the Service Manager called me and said that they that didn’t have anybody to repair the furnace. They left my client without heat in below freezing temperatures! Very unprofessional and unorganized business, call someone else before they leave you out in the cold as well.

I have seen their name around so I called them. It is 30 degrees out and our heater broke in the middle of the night. We have 5 kids. The guy on the phone ( Travis) asked if we were a repeating customer. As soon as I said " no", his enthusiastic voice changed. He immediately said they were busy until December, which is 3 weeks away. I asked him if he had any recommendations of other places and he responded by asking if I knew how to Google. WOW! Terrible attitude. Won't be recommending them or calling them again. Thanks Travis~

The team at Garden City was outstanding! We learned that our furnace was more than 22 years old, and the techs still did everything that they could to save it for us to spare us the cost for as long as they could. They weren't able to save the old girl in the end, but we had an appraisal happening quickly! The guys got right on it, had a new furnace delivered the next day and installed the day after that, even after we told them the sale had fallen through and the appraisal wasn't going to happen. I can only remember Al's name, but the two gentlemen before him were really great to us too! We have had five star service from this team at both home and work! Service like this is exceptionally rare in Missoula. Thanks for knocking us out the way you did!

Need to help Garden City Plumbing reduce their workload as they have no one available for weeks. No 24 hr service (as advertised) No plumbers available for emergency situations. Don't waste your time if you need a reasonable response time to an emergency situation. They are understaffed and untrained in customer service over the phone. Call someone else in town. I found 3 very nice, fully staffed companies today on Google. They all expressed sincere concern and put me on a list for the next available plumber. I just gave them all 5 stars! A professional just left my house. Heat is back on!

had a basement shower that wasn't working properly, so we called, very friendly service. Realized that replacing the shower head and the faucets would be the way to go, one hour of work and parts totaled $440. there was no having to get into the wall as it was already cut out, and accessible. The parts were: a shower head and two cheap handles, not that we wanted anything fancy, but for $440 we could have done both showers in the house and had a nice diner.

Even with unforseen complications they got the job done in a day and came in under their price estimate.They were easy to get along with and careful in their work. Not only did they remedy the sewer line, but we're also able to solve other plumbing problems. Would hire them again....

I give them one star for a respectful repairman. I was overcharged and was not informed of their "Customer Bill of Rights" which you see on the final bill second page (ask for it) before they start. They are supposed to give you a written quote before they start which I didn't get until it was done. I recommend you get several bids or quotes before you have them do anything.
