We discovered Frisella Nursery through their Podcast. After taking their organic lawn care class, we were very impressed. We chose to use them to design/install the landscaping at our new home because of their expertise and preference for organic/natural materials. It was a rewarding process balancing their suggestions, our specific requests, and our budget to deliver a landscape that our neighbors and family admired. Our designer Mike gave us pointers on what to think about before and during home construction in order to permit a beautiful and rewarding landscape without a bunch of hassle. Mike visited our property in Illinois before construction began to evaluate the land and surroundings. He also walked us through the Nursery to show us all foliage he recommended. Our three children also enjoyed the visit to Frisella and seeing Mrs. Claus!

Located along beautiful and windy Highway F near the town of Defiance, Frisella Nursery is a great place for not only your basic home guardening but also for the plant enthusiast. Along with a beautiful nursery, they also offer a wonderful gift shop as well as a little cafe. This family owned stop is a great part of any visit to the area.

Frisella nursery is a first class, top tier landscaping company. We worked with Tony who was extremely professional, incredibly talented, and provided the most amazing personal service. He designed the landscaping at our new custom home and we could not be happier with the results. Frisella's nursery grounds are impressive to say the least and their selection of trees and plants is extensive. We would highly recommend Frisella nursery as well as Tony Frisella as a designer. I had Frisella Nursery do a complete over hall of my front beds. They did a fantastic job and everything looked great! I kept the beds watered and weeded as instructed at the time of installation. I received very helpful emails from Frisella's reminding it's customers to be certain to water when there were very dry spells. A year and a half later some of the plants died and I contacted Frisella Nursery in the spring and they stated it was more than likely due to a very dry winter we had last winter. I admit, I did not water during the winter.I never even thought about it. Frisella's advised me the warranty period is for one year. I contacted my representative Michael Boyd who did a wonderful job of designing my landscaping and who was more than helpful and quoted me a very good price on getting the plants replaced. I am very happy with Frisella's Nursery and would recommend them to anyone considering beautiful landscaping. Jim Hearne, Creve Coeur Missouri.

Wowwowowowow!!!! They did such an amazing job! Tony jr. was excellent in designing and helping me replace a slate garden patio that had spalled to shreds. The pavers he suggested turned out to be just perfect for the space and look really natural. The job was done very efficiently and with very high professionalism: they mulched everything and made it look really perfect to the last detail. They took extreme care in minimizing the damage to the established plants and even replanted some of the ones they had to remove. The crew that did the work was clean, fast and very attentive to my requests. I can't say enough! These people are just awesome! PS: Did I say that they even swept my garage?!!!!

We just had the entire front of our house gutted and landscaped and we couldn’t be happier! First of all Justin was a joy to work with! Super knowledgeable, very professional, very tolerant of my amateur gardener suggestions and last but not least an adorable smile! LOL. The crew worked very hard and also seemed very knowledgeable and expressed a genuine concern for the project to be a success. They worked diligently to transplant a rather large dogwood We were also VERY impressed with the large size of our plants as well as how healthy they were!! I would highly recommend this nursery and be sure to ask for Justin!

Summer of 2018 had the front of the house designed and landscaped, which looked great. However decided to relocate 3 large hydrangeas as they appeared too large for the originally intended area. Unfortunately, they did not survive the relocation. I ultimately received a personal visit, from Tony Frisella during the 2019 summer. He suggested three new varieties and he then had them delivered and planted; along with the necessary top soil. These newly planted hydrangeas look great and I learned Frisella works very hard to please its customers. And, more importantly, they take great pride in continuing to maintain their legacy of customer satisfaction.

Tony Jr. designed a beautiful and practical plan for new planting beds in the front of our home, as well as the deer ravaged beds in the back that are now protected by a perimeter fence. Antonio and the crew did a great job of executing the plan, and even re-mulched planting beds that weren't being replanted by them. We had a pending wedding, and were running out of time to spruce up our home for the company we anticipated, so it was a huge blessing that all the planting beds got fresh mulch by the Frisella team. We are so pleased by what they have done, we are planning another phase of landscaping for the Spring. Tony Jr. has the knowledge and the passion that comes from having literally "grown up" in this multi-generational nursery business.

Eye-popping beautiful. In 2014 Frisella designed and installed landscape/hardscape at our lakeside home. Other nurseries said they could not do the job because of the 25-degree steep terrain. Frisella leverage our steep terrain for dramatic aesthetic effect. Strategically placed 500-1000 pound boulders anchor terrace retaining walls coupled with an amazing fast-flowing water feature. We just completed our follow-up visit with designer: Toni Frisella, Jr. What a pleasurable experience from our 1st visit to the Nursery when we met Toni, through the design process, through the removal of old plants, shrubs and trees to the final days when the new plants, shrubs, trees and boulder wall was in place! Now we find that another person will be coming to discuss with us the proper care and maintenance to keep this beautification project healthy and long lived. We are SO pleased with every aspect of this project, including other staff persons with whom we have spoken along the way, including those who did the actual physical labor of removal and planting. Although the location is a bit off the beaten path, if you are looking for the best option for landscaping, hardscapes, and all things growing outside, use them. My wife and I had the privledge of having Tony Frisella design our beautiful landscaping 18 years ago. The landscaping has grown more beautiful over time and we recieve regular compliments from neighbors and passerby's. We recently (Oct 18, 2019) had Tony design the final stages of our backyard landscaping. The completed project exceeded our expectations. Many times drawn plans do not match the completed finished product. In our case the design and lay-out looked better than the drawn renderings. A final note is that the crew that did the work were the hardest working and most professional of any tradesmen I have ever had work on our house. I could tell that they took their jobs personal and made every attempt to place things in the proper place. In addition, they did a alot of work with a bobcat and you would never know that a bobcat had been in the yard, as they took exacting care not to damage my lawn or other previous plantings.
