I am a tree nut. Have 60 tree species growing on my family's property in southern Minnesota. Bought many of them here. Knecht's is the best nursery I know of in Upper Midwest - and, like Johnny Cash, I've Been Everywhere, Man. Selection...value..quality...service.. screaming deals if you look for them. They really know what they're doing, and they try hard. Leif, the proprietor, is very knowledgeable and is generally available if you seek his expertise. Knecht's is a treasure. It is well worth the drive to Northfield.
