I've been using the Stillwater location for many years for our personal landscaping needs. They have a great selection, good pricing and good people. I don't understand the negative reviews at all. Perhaps they need to look at themselves in a mirror since Hedberg's is great!

Called ahead yesterday to confirm the store had a particular item in stock. I was assured they had it, even asked twice that they make sure it was the one i needed. We drove from Inver Grove Heights to Stillwater only to find out they did NOT have the product requested and don't even carry that product. Needless to say with gas prices nearly $4 a gallon and the project we were working on was at a complete halt until i could obtain this product I was not pleased at all. I then had to drive to Bloominton from Stillwater to obtain the item i needed. Horrible customer service!

Stillwater location has been a horrible experience over the past two years, whenever we are working in the area. First of all the employees are unfriendly and unhelpful to answer any questions regarding who might carry a product or offer a service that they do not. Second of all, some employees in the yard have disregarded respect for other peoples property. One employee was carrying steel edging and scraped the cab of the truck, then after firmly encouraging him to be more careful, when he turned around and the steel edging scraped the truck AGAIN. The Farmington location has been very kind, friendly and generous when stopping in. They have continued to refer our company, which is much appreciated! So thank you to the Farmington location, however I think Stillwater can improve on some things.
