I love walking through and browsing just for something to do, and always find an item or two I can gift to someone, it's a very comfortable atmosphere with very nice staff! 5/5 because I don't ever not want to go here, and I don't even own a lawn! They have some great detailed lawn and garden sculptures that adorn the pottery, but also a huge section of plastic affordable stuff for those not looking for super fancy or modern plant holders. Good selection of everything home and gardening, will return again and again to find that next treasure!

Amazing selection of plants...annuals galore. Supertunias (petunias you don't have to deadhead...supposed to spread 2') $3.79, callibrocha in more colors than I see other places $3.79, colorful giant-leafed coleus pk of 6 $7.99, vivid, strong, healthy zonal geraniums $3.79...just a few of my purchases. Reasonable prices for good product. I have never had a plant of theirs fail me.

John and Tom are the slowest people on the face of the earth, everytime I come I should be there for 15 mins but instead always turns into 4-5 hrs. You might as well grow the plants yourself

This is my 5th visit this year and each time I go here I am impressed with the staff, the services and products they provide. It is further from our home than other garden centers but my experience so far is excellent and it will be my go to garden center.

Gertan's Garden's are very impressive, however I was not interested in owning plants that had some carries ( for lack of a buggie word ) moving under leaves, but that's to say they don't provide a plant or flowers to city center, and folks who abide themselves shopping.

It's big and they have pretty much everything you need for your plant habit. During my first visit, I saw lots of employees standing around talking to each other but was never greeted. I had at least 3 less than average interactions with employees before I left the store feeling pretty bad about my visit. I'll probably give them another chance, simply because the store is so huge. However, I'd say there are far superior plant stores in the metro area.

Gerten's is a destination store for any gardener. The high level of choices, whether plants, landscape material, equipment, etc is phenomenal. So many people who can give good advice or instructions. Their plants grow!!! We get many compliments on our garden and yard. Once again Gerten's is the garden center at the top of the garden center list that made it possible for us to put together an outdoor space that is beautiful and enjoyable. A big green thumbs up.

Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Staff wss extremely attentive and eager to help. It seemed like every aisle I was in had a staff member. Early morning is the best time to go in before it gets real busy. We were there shortly after opening. I was tired and crabby due to only getting 3 hours of sleep the night before, but walked out of the store in a better mood than when I walked in.

We love Gertens! It's a busy place for a reason. You can find almost anything here, from annuals, to perennials, to bushes and trees. Their selection of pots and yard decorations is really good too. This year we picked up a new quick fire hydrangea and a forsythea for the front yard. As usual they had these plants in 2 different sizes and I really like these options depending on your project, budget and patience. The staff is always ready to help and guide us, also their perennial specialists have great tips to share. Gertens is by far one of the best places in town for getting your pots and yard projects going

Spent an hour speaking with Wendy who is apparently the manager of the tree barn. She made some suggestions on our project and my girlfriend and I decided to implement one of her suggestions after about a week. We needed 30 trees. She had priced the trees prior, but now stats they do not sell a #3 techney arborvitae. But according to their website they do sell it, and for the price Wendy stayed a couple weeks prior. Wendy apologized and said it’s not true and she would have refunded the order. But there it is, on the website. She wanted us to spend an additional $300 for the #5.... So the manager has no clue what they sell and clearly I can my business to another nursery.

I love Gertens but their selection of houseplants was very minimal today. The outdoor planters for fall were beautiful. The staff is always helpful and friendly. Very well maintained. Bedding season is crazy so it was nice to meander a manageable size crowd for a change.

A great place to shop for annuals and perennials. They have a wide variety of plants. Might be a little more expensive that your Home Depot or Lowe's garden centers but the choices are far more.

I always enjoy the spectacle that is Gertens, with virtually every kind of plant that's viable in the area, well represented, including many native plants. I went for the one thing they did not have: Trumpet Vine. They had climbing hops, but no Trumpet Vine. For selection and options, Gertens is the best green house in the area.

Yeah, one can scoff at some of their prices, but they are second-to-none in quality and customer service! Their property is massive, and almost all of it is clean, orderly, nicely laid out. They take pride in their work and it is fun to spend some time just walking around and dreaming of the next project, knowing that someone is reasonably available to answer your questions!

Quite the selection of plants and shrubs. Who doesn't like a good shrubbery? Plenty of friendly staff willing to assist. While some of the accessory items can get spendy, the garden items seem reasonable, especially during the sales. If only it were closer to home.
