I first put in a request for landscape design through the website. This request went unresponsive. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and gave them a call a week later. I spoke to a designer and let her know what we are looking to have done. We moved into a home last fall and we are looking for a plan to re-design the entire front and back yard, plantings, patio, retaining wall and fence. She came out and walked the property with me so we could discuss options. She was going to take pictures and measurements and abruptly left while letting me know she would be back. Two weeks went by and I heard nothing. I gave her a call to find out the status of the design project and did not receive any calls back. At this point I have called multiple times and it's been over a month. Based on this interaction we will be taking our business elsewhere.

I just went to Dundee to pick up a few specific things on a Sunday afternoon, and it didn't appear as though they had any of them. To make matters worse, I couldn't find anyone to help me anywhere. I proceeded to walk around the entire inside and outside of the store with an empty cart looking for someone to help me and the only person I saw was the cashier, who was checking people out. Finally I went to the (empty) information desk and after waiting for at least a few minutes, someone came out. I told her I needed some help and she told me pretty snottily that I had to wait for her to check something for a phone customer. At this point I just left and went to growhaus which was not too far away. I don't know if they just werent staffed appropriately or what the problem was, but it was a very disappointing experience, both from a product availability standpoint and from a customer service standpoint. I won't be going back to Dundee. Bachmans always has what I need and the best customer service! Which is important for a lawn and garden store!!

Not even worthy of one star! Worst service I have ever experienced. Sarah refused to call me back after several attempts to reach her. I spent over $5,000 and the end result does NOT look anything like a $5,000 job. Half of the plants did not survive the first winter. They gave me a credit to replace. The replacement plants have a fungus. I tried to work it out with Gill, the General Manager, he was extremely rude. I was okay with spending a premium because I thought I would get excellent service and quality products. Just because you spend more money doesn't mean anything. I will never step foot in Dundee again. I will be sure to tell my friends and family to do the same.

Lots of annuals, a florist, and garden resource desk. Large selection of landscaping plants. Decent selection of vegetables, perennials are a bit of a walk to find.

I paid more than $800 for Dundee to design, provide plants, and plant the plants in a flower bed. I was terribly disappointed. The flower bed looked NOTHING like the lovely photographs they have in their books of previous jobs. The plants were tiny and I was told, well they'll grow. Yes, they will, but it will take several years before the garden looks decent. It was NOT worth $800 that's for sure!

Friendly staff but DO NOT BUY FIREWOOD there. Their Mixed hardwood package is pricey $118 for a small pile of wood and consists of A few pieces of Oak, a few pieces of Birch and mostly of junk cardboard like fast burning Elm. Seems like a nice place just don't get firewood there. Russ

So pleased with Dundee Nursery. Two years ago, Sarah came out and gave us a new design for our front yard. So happy with it. Had a question so Sarah came out today. Told me to trim a bush and add dirt in another area. Gave me her opinion, “that is what I would do if it was my yard”. I so appreciate her honesty and knowledge. Thank you!

Excellent selection of trees, shrubs, perennials, and annuals that are priced competitively with big box stores. Sound horticultural practices can be seen from the quality of plants. The annual baskets are watered using a drip system so you won't find baskets with gaps in the crown from careless hand watering. Like most nurseries, many trees lacked a central leader. A strong central leader can easily be established with a few pruning cuts.

Just had the worst service. Spent my time picking all my plants .. (they do have a nice selection) .. But went to check out and no one around, waited a few minutes. Walked into the main building and a worker saw I was looking to check out, so she directed me to another counter. No one in line ( this should be quick) oh no! Cashier talking to a customer on the phone who was asking if shrubs were on sale. She was told repeatedly none are on sale today ( by 3 employees standing by). She then called another dept .. She just kept looking for another answer. Not once did she even acknowledge me in line or pass the phone to one of the orher employees just standing there .. Seriously 7 minutes later, just walked out! Get your $@%# together! 4 employees standing there and no one could help a customer.
