We are lawn newbies, so in the two years we've owned our house, our benign neglect has been pretty hard on things. We came to Wedel's for advice, and were blown away by how knowledgeable and accommodating their staff was. Our lawn technician (I made that term up) didn't push a particular brand but listened carefully to our concerns and helped us create an action plan beginning next spring. One thing we wanted to avoid was the heavy use of pesticides and chemicals, and our technician listened to us. I can't emphasize how wonderful this feeling was, to have someone really hear you out and give their expertise without giving their own opinion. In other words, we walked away without buying much at all, but Wedel's has gained our loyalty and we'll be back in April ready to rescue our curb appeal!

Great selection, however they only guarantee their perenials until October of that year. The phlox I bought last year has all died and is not covered! When I called they tried to indicate that I possibly planted it near a driveway which was not the case. I am going to Lowes where they gaurantee for one year from purchase.

Purchased an artificial xmas tree, got home, opened box to set up and it was obviously a used or returned tree put back in the box and taped up! I called and spoke to Don, he said they would offer a discount, as I paid full price on what I thought was a new tree not USED! Been 6 days and 2 phone calls I've still not heard back from them. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. FALSE ITEMS BEING SOLD AT FULL PRICE.

Expensive, bad advice, and do not stand by their work. I paid $600 to have 4 fruit trees planted in my yard and to make sure the job was done correctly. I asked a lot of questions as part of the installation and followed their advice perfectly. I explicitly asked about protecting the trees from animals. They told me was to not worry about caging the trees until late summer. This was bad advice, as deer came quickly and totally destroyed two of the trees. I called to get them to replace, and they refused despite their bad advice. I can get bad advice an no guarantee for a lot less at the big box stores. Will never shop here again.

Love this place! There is such a wide variety of so many things-floral arrangements, unique pots, trees, decor such as statuaries and fountains, wind chimes, birdhouses, etc. I got a great deal on a statuary that I've had my eye on. Well worth a trip!

Ordered a specific arrangement online and the order was fulfilled and delivered through wedels....it looked NOTHING like the one that i ordered, not even close. I sent this to a dear friend to express my thanks for a big favor, these flowers looked like I bought them at Walmart. Very disappointed. Wish I could post the pics, side by side....
