I have been purchasing vegetables for my garden from here for many years now. This is a great low key local nursery with reasonable prices. The crops are always nice and grown. It has a beautiful green house with a large pond and many turtles some time of the year and it also has a butterfly garden too.

The workers are rude, plain and simple. They sell perennials that cannot survive in the local climate. I only come and look around with family due to their variety. I avoid buying in unless they are the only place with something.

This is our favorite place to go in the spring. Family owned, helpful employees and they have a good selection. Also, there aren't many of these without having to go to a hardware store. They have a cool koi pond, too.

Went there to help a good friend to pick out some flowers and was pleasantly surprised. Everyone there was very polite and helpful and they actually had the best prices I've ever seen. I live in the other direction of town and use different greenhouses for my needs and they are not as reasonable as Barson's. Barson's also had a wonderful selection and are easy to access.

We always buy our annuals and veggie plants here. They have a lot of varieties of many plants, perennials as well. There is also a Butterfly Habitat on the grounds that is quite amazing. Our garden has never looked better. The plants are always healthy and grow fast.

Went to get some pond plants. What they had was mostly dead. The worker said that the plants get shipped in plastic bags and the plants get rotten fast. He was also not very informative about how tall plants can get or if they get flowers.

Spent over $1000 on fish, water plants and other various plants and chemicals for koi pond. Sold fish that had diseases, my 3 year old pond that had perfectly healthy koi were now diseased by his fish. Horrible customer service, Joe, blamed me, wouldn't give refund or even offer another fish, He told me he was "out of the fish business." Well, he won't have my business anymore. He gives HORRIBLE customer service and berates the customer,.

Love Barson's Greenhouse. I come here for anything related to my pond or caterpillars as they have plants and supplies for both. Their staff is well educated in the plants/supplies that they sell. So if you're not sure about plants or just have a question regarding gardening, they're the ones to ask. They have a great selection of plants as well.

The butterfly house is a wonderful place, but I am extremely displeased with the garden center. My husband explained that we were creating a catnip area in our yard for our cats, and themes sold us professional growing mix soil that specifically says avoid breathing the dust, avoid contact with eyes, open sores, cuts, wash hands thoroughly after use. Keep away from pets and children. I immediately scooped my cats out of it and washed them down. When we contacted them, Barson’s response was “that’s just being overly cautious.” If I’m asking the professional for advice, I would expect what you recommend for my cats doesn’t have a warning that says keep away from pets and children. I will not purchase from here again.

Very nice people, we went for the butterfly release, they had animal balloons & face painting. My 7 year old son had a ball. They have a pond with fish and turtles and they provide food for the fish for FREE! Naturally they also have a small green house with butterflies of different types. He had so much fun he talked about it all weekend. We will be back if only for the butterfly house.
