We live in Norwood and finally decided to remove the trees, thorns and brush that consumed two thirds of our property. Jim helped to envision the project with us; after removing weed trees, thorns, etc, his crew graded the yard, brought in a ton of loom and did a wonderful job planting trees, shrubs and perennials. Land Design Associates have done a beautiful job for us in West Roxbury. Jim Egan's team executed our front and backyard plan, which included front steps with walkway, side walkway to a patio and a seating wall. It's nice to stroll on our walkways just to notice how gorgeous the pavers look. Jim was always available to answer questions during our indecision. When we changed our minds he was patient and pleasant. He even came up with solutions that saved us money, like eliminating the need for a retaining wall. His advice on plantings was tip top. We can't wait to see all the shrubs and trees, once they are in the ground, in their cozy new homes (in the rich loam delivered by Jim). He will set up an irrigation system so that our new babies (shrubs and trees) won't get thirsty. Neighbors have told us that we are adding beauty to the street and we have Jim and his Land Design people to thank for that!

Egan Landscaping created my dream backyard, complete with koi pond, bluestone patio, sitting walls and much, much more. The principal, Jim Egan, is very involved with his projects no matter the level of the job. My project was definitely a big one, a complete backyard renovation including landscaping and hardscaping, but Jim and his crew executed it to a T. I recently met with one of the firm's associates, Robyn, for some followup work, and could not have been more pleased with her knowledge of and recommendations of shrubs and perennials. She also came up with a lovely innovative way to treat a grassy area that has never fully worked due to dogs and other issues. I think one of the (many) hallmarks of this group is the high quality of their stock. I have used other landscapers to add something here or there and the plants were nothing near to what I got through Land Design. I feel fortunate to have found someone who could help articulate and execute a haven that I will enjoy for years to come.

A few years back my wife and I found the perfect house in which to start our family. It has a nice big back yard in a great neighborhood of Dedham. We envisioned many outings and memories being made, all spent together in our home and in that outdoor space. The only catch is that our yard turned out to be a nightmare. The ground was barren, uneven, and rocky – an understatement, the yard may as well have been made of rocks. Despite all our efforts to groom, seed, and fertilize it seemed we got nowhere. We tried to dress it up with plants and flowers but nothing would last or look the way we wanted. The fact was our yard was out of our control and we knew we needed to hire a professional. In came Land Design Associates. We did a lot of research and they came highly recommended by previous customers. We met with their team to discuss all of our landscape needs. They took us out to sites to view past projects and provided us with mockup proposals. Everything blew us away. They incorporated a hardscape of a patio and fire pit into an eye-catching design flowing with grass, irrigation, and shrubbery. My wife and I did not think our yard could look so good. The only thing that ended up surprising us more than the design was how fast they made a dream become a reality. Land Design Associates has the best, hardworking team that impressed us more and more every day. We finally have the outdoor living space we always wanted and could not be more grateful and appreciative for the service they have provided. Many memories will be made and we have Land Design Associates to thank!
