I like Green Fields a lot and go there a fair amount, as they are near to me. They have most of what I'm looking for, as a hobbyist backyard gardener. Also the people there are nice and generally pretty knowledgeable.

Came to this place a few times just browsing in the winter and early spring. Today I just purchased a Pink Icing Blueberry. The staff had excellent knowledge on there plants and trees. Far as prices, shopping and supporting local you shouldn't have thoughts about price, turely. Besides, the prices are reasonable! Oh yeah I be back for the ladybugs!!

This is a beautiful nursery with an excellent selection. Unfortunately, the staff is unhelpful and dismissive, and the prices are outrageous. They're also unwilling to work with you on price. Their niche makes a lot of sense: Roland Park is just up the hill, they can pretty much charge whatever that want. For my money, though? I'll go somewhere friendly, helpful and affordable.

I’m a beginner gardener and so very glad I came across this place, through google search. They have many varieties of plants/flowers; even plants I had a hard time finding elsewhere (indoor plants in good condition). There prices were reasonable for most varieties. It was such a pleasure meeting Peter, one of the advisors, there. He was so very helpful in not only helping me find plants that best meets my needs, but also giving me valuable information! We had a fun discussion about our cats :) I hope both of his girl kitties are doing well. I will DEFINITELY be coming back for more of my gardening needs. -S. Melton

Got a Christmas tree from these guys. Although it was a little more than we wanted to spend, staff was super friendly and helpful and we found one that fit perfect. But here's the thing...tree hasn't dropped more than a handful of needles and feels fresh cut two weeks out.

Purchased a good sized fishtail palm there recently. I am impressed by thier knowledgeable staff, reasonable prices and customer service. They cleaned up the plant for me and carried it to my car which i am thankful for since it was a cold and icy morning! Looking forward to doing business with them again soon.

They have plants. They have dirt, mulch, and stone, etc. I was nice to them and they were nice to me. Go to a box store if you want inexpensive.

I have been here twice and the customer service was medium to poor. The shop is fairly decent but short of an artisan garden shop. The second visit I made the customer service was worse. I will look elsewhere for a garden store.

Prices are fair and the plants are always in great health. When ever I bring a plant home from here I never have to worry about it having mites or other pest. The staff is so nice and they really care.

Extremely kind and knowledgeable staff. I went in with my sick house plant to try and see if it could be saved, they cleaned him up (which was pretty yucky, I felt so bad about the stink) and transplanted him into fresh soil in less than 15 minutes. I got pointers on how to keep my plant healthy too. I highly recommend this nursery!
