I'm a Landscape contractor and have delt with many sod company's in the past. I can't say enough of good things about Sunny Sod. Their prices are great .with a good quality product. The staff is very friendly and knowledgable. I won't stop anywhere else.

Love this company. The estimator, the sod deliverer, the workers all impressed. They came when scheduled, laid 8 pallets in 2 1/4 hours...a beautiful job. The price was right, and 2 months later, the lawn looks better every week!

If you call and a man with a deep smoker’s voice answers you may as well hang up. He has no customer service skills, no personality, and no tact. Basically, I get the feeling that he could care less if he gets your business or not. I would never recommend doing business with Sunny sod and they will never get any of my business. Whomever is answering the phones needs to be working away from customers.

I highly recommend Sunny Sod! Jeri, their customer service rep, goes out of her way to help determine the exact amount of sod you'll need for the job, and makes sure they work the delivery and install into your schedule, not theirs! We just received another 5 palettes for a sloped bank, and as always the sod was in great condition, the guys who installed it and pinned it down were very professional and Andres wanted to make sure we were pleased with everything before they drove off. On top of all this, they have very reasonable prices. Great sod and great customer service!

I unfortunately did not have as great of an experience with sunny sod as some others. I will say at least they made some effort to resolve the issue but they definitely didn’t put in the extra effort in to make the situation right. If I wasn’t constantly calling and checking for updates and following up nothing would’ve ever been remotely resolved. Long story short had the estimator come out, measure, and got job scheduled. Once the workers finished there was a huge gap at the end of the yard that they were just going to leave and so come to find out I needed about 2-3 pallets more and I had to call and tell them that and get that scheduled. On top of that I was glad to see a nice gash the size of my hand in my old magnolia and they had broken off a stem from my multi step crepe myrtle so I’ll just cross my fingers I guess that the magnolia doesn’t now have a future issue from that...Fast forward to two weeks in and the grass looks horrible I call and give me the into to their landscape/horticulture person. He comes out to tell me I have sod worms, but it seems to only be located to the new sod put down, my existing yard from what the builder put down didn’t have any visible issues and looked very healthy. So this is now my responsibility and it’s treated. As the grass starts coming in Bermuda is growing right along with the centipede and after weeks of the owner and the landscape guy coming to look at it they agree to pay for “2-3 treatments or whatever it takes to get the Bermuda under control”. That was done this summer and I constantly had to call, email, follow up, double check to see when they were coming to treat it and if they did on the day they did (this never happened on the day they said they would). At the end of this I have a nice mix of centipede and Bermuda as well as a few brown/dead patches where it was mostly Bermuda. All in all after a year of back and forth and a yard that looks ok I would probably take my money somewhere else. I did learn my lesson that price isn’t everything.
