3/1/2018; Giving this business one star is really being generous! I purchased Sod from Steve yesterday and it was delivered today by Maurice. You all should take a look at the photos I uploaded so that you can see and verify the sloppy job that was done by Maurice (the delivery driver). He was very rude, unprofessional and nonchalant when my husband stated he should fix the sloppy job. Maurice stated "he would not and he had another job to go do". So basically he gave my husband and I a rushed, sloppy, ridiculous delivery job and didn't care whatsoever. I paid over $200 for this mess. I immediately sent the photos to Steve and expressed how displeased I was with the whole transaction. I told Steve to have Maurice come back and get this Sod because I am very dissatisfied with the work and wanted a refund. After Steve looked at the photos he then stated "Yes, it is a sloppy job. I have never seen a picture of a delivery before now, and plenty people get that same delivery and they were satisfied with it." He then stated that he could not take the dirt back and he will talk to Maurice about the bad behavior and will send the picture I shared today to future customers so that they will know what to expect upon delivery. I was even charged a pallet fee and you can clearly see I didn't receive a pallet at all. At the end of the day TREAT EVERY customer just like it was your mother...... If this type of service would NOT be acceptable for your MOTHER then it should not be acceptable for me! For example, I could not sell you a broken car at full price and when I deliver it, I just drop it off and tell you just put a engine in it and expect you to be okay with that!!! You would be pissed off as well. If you want to run a respectful business and keep customers, do the right thing from the beginning to the end of service. Steve what you did to me today was DEAD WRONG. You absolutely admitted it was a crappy job yet you still did NOT put fourth any effort to rectify the situation or refund my money. Customer service is key and with this company, customer service is poor from management on down to the workers. If you want a company who will treat a customer right, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.
