REVIEWS OF City Park IN Louisiana

James Gardner

It is such a large park with so many things to do you could never do it all in a day. We a part of two days here, first in the kids area and one just exploring the trees, turtles and beautiful grounds. The park is well maintained and is so charming, full of what we love about New Orleans. Beautiful vistas and great meandering sidewalks for a stroll. Something for everyone. Love this park

Ahad Subzwari

A great place to visit in New Orleans. City Cafe is one of the best places to get beignets in the city. Also must visit the sculpture garden. The park is great and filled with that iconic Nola foliage.

J H Reyes

Finally an amusement park for my youngest, whom despite being 9 years old, is a lot shorter & thinner than others her age. Was able to ride all the rides except for one and really enjoyed the Story Land area. Even my teenagers enjoyed it. Administration was reasonably priced, $4 a person. For rides: $18 all-you-can-ride bracelet or $4 a ride(yes parents must pay too). Absolutely beautiful. Lots of shade and sitting areas throughout the park. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

ROBERT COOPER

As an out-of-towner, I'd recommend that anyone new to the city check out City Park, there is so much to do! I personally recommend kayaking through the park, it's very relaxing. The channels and inlets will take you far into the park along the sculpture and botanical gardens.

Denise Armour

City Park has always been a very nice park for football games.

Fayd Grey

Very cool to visit. Great sculpture park and very nice botanical garden with several other attractions as well that I unfortunately didn't have time to visit. Will definitely go back.

Melissa Wilkerson

Beautiful park with lots of areas to take pictures of yourself & family. Children have a play area just for them. A very nice Beignet Cafe' with all kinds of coffees (frozen also). Absolutely breathtaking views.

Martin Peake

Fantastic green space at the end of the streetcar route. The sculpture garden is huge, spectacular and free. Lots of amusements but we gave that a miss. Warning: art museum closed on Monday!

amber

The city park in new Orleans is the best. Boat rentals, lawn for volleyball or soccer, etc..., running tracks, playgrounds, museums, gardens, amusement parks... plus more. I'd like to have more time to spend here.

Lucien Mcbride

A huge park outside of the city centre, which is easily accessible by streetcar. Highlights include the Singing Oak tree, a large oak with a bunch of wind chimes of various sizes, and the Historic Oak Grove, a large grove of large old oak trees. We were focused on the natural beauty, but one could also check out the New Orleans Museum of Art, which is near the streetcar stop for the park. A great place for a picnic or a walk. There are also paved paths used by cyclists and rollerbladers among others. There’s also a large pond where you can rent pedal boats.

Elizabeth Garcia-Smith

Beautiful Park! We have our Annual Church Picnic there every year. A lot of things to do there, go online and check it out.

vaughn barbarin

Nice place to take the family. Picnic with your significant other. Exercise if need be...lol. great part of town to visit in new orleans...

Plenty to do, beautiful place. Get out and away, enjoy our world when you can.

Becky Gambill

The best park I have ever seen. The beauty of the elegant oaks are nostalgic and comforting. Great place to spend the day to relax.

Jennifer Singh

Gorgeous park, too big to fully explore in the short amount of time we were there.

Claudia Rodick

The most prolific gorgeous oaks in America! Visit the outstanding museum, NOMA.

Leslie B. Gubitz

The new sculpture garden is beautiful and Serene with some very impressive artists.

Cliff Gunderson

City park always makes for a great weekend or day off visit. Lounge in the park, visit the sculpture garden, play some putt putt, or even go inside the NOMA. So much to do or just sit on a swinging bench and not do.

Tyler Breaux

Great Art Museum. Manageable in a day. Go early in the morning and see the outdoor sculpture garden. Get an iced tea or almond Palmer in the cafe to cool off and then tour starting with the third floor.

Susan V. Boutwell-LaGrange

My childhood playground. Growing... Losing space for that private time. Beautiful Gardens. Awesome Christmas, but losing great displays over the years. Becoming somewhere You need cash to enjoy.

Nayelly Barrios

City Park is beautiful! Wear your walking shoes as there is a lot of ground to cover! I highly suggest looking at maps of this park before visiting.

Travis Fuller

This place is incredible. If you think bourbon street is cool just wait until you see this place. This place is 50% bigger than Central Park and full of just as much beautiful as any other park in the country. With activities for the entire family. Running groups. Yoga groups. Rides for the kids. It’s worth being out in the humidity to go here. This is a 24 hour stop.

Shayne Boyd

huge park with so much to do. Perfect first or second date spot!

Michael Ruta

Beautiful area. Gorgeous trees. Clean. Nice place to relax. Don't forget to see the Art Museum.

Kaa Blue

At the Pavillion of Two Sisters for a business meeting. Bern there many times for wedding receptions. Love the place and the food.

Mert Kandiyeli

When the weather is nice and if would want to escape from the daily tress, then city park is the correct place for it. The nature is beautiful.

Ann Barnes

An expansive and beautiful park, with so many areas to enjoy. Love the oaks, the sculpture garden, art museum, playground areas and the mini golf

Evan Kase

Best part - the way the amazing sculptures interacted so intuitively with the landscaping and gardens, in both the public garden and the ticketed botanical gardens. Art and nature in harmony. The Entique Alferez sculptures in the lovely botanical gardens, esp, are phenomenal.

emeliecheramie

Lovely place to take a stroll through their gardens. They also have Storybook land for the kids but some attraactions which used to do things are now broken. They also have rides for the kids but they are either baby rides or adult rides. Maybe 1 or 2 non thrill rides that mid-range age kids can enjoy. You can get a bracelet to ride all day but the train (which is great esp for Christmas) costs an extra 5 dollars or so. Buy your tickets online to avoid the lines at the ticket booth.

Kristophor Bradley

Beautiful grounds. Walked around for hours. So serene and peaceful. Bring your whole family

Charles Farnham

I've just seen a few parts so far wonderful

Jeanee' Dupree

BlueMoon Productions

City Park is an amazing place with a variety of activities that family and friends can take part in. I personally go here to clear my mind and appreciate the outdoors while walking the course set up throughout the park.

Lesley Gambino

I love City Park. It is beautiful and there are quite a few things to do there. It's also great to just sit and look at the beautiful scenery. My family once owned City Park when it was the Allard Plantation. It was written that my great, great granduncle, Louis Allard loved sitting on the porch and looking at the oaks. He was originally even buried under the dueling oaks and so many people still enjoy the beautiful setting.

SilvaBakGz Entertainment

Best park in the country, period.. Has everything.. Even Café Du Monde

Savannah Hunter

So beautiful and peaceful. Its perfect for pictures or even wedding events. Will definitely be back.

Beautiful And Dammed

Front desk and gift shop staff are great! It was raining very hard as soon as we had purchased the tickets so we asked to see if we can come back the best day and they said they don't really do that but they were nice and said it was ok to come next day. Great for taking pictures however some plants looked like they needed water even after all that rain.

R0nald Portway

Like a breath of fresh air I haven't been there since I was a teenager it looks good I have some changes but should have better

Jade Kwong

Pleasant stroll through the sculpture part of the museum. Worth visiting!

Hayden Torres

Probably the most wooded and close to the actually outdoors city park I've experienced. It's extremely large and will months to fully explore. From a great jogging path to great golf courses, welcome to the city please don't pass this park up.

Sandra Diaz

So beautiful here! The trees are breathtaking. And there are so many things to do, botanical gardens, walk over and get on rides just so much stuff to do.

Jorge Melara

Very nice park in the city with a lot of stuff to do outdoors and indoors with the museum. The park is beautiful in the fall/spring time.

Amber Woodyatt

Such a beautiful park! I love oak trees and there's plenty to see all over the city but my favorite ones are in City Park.

Kay Your Local guide !

Definitely a great spot for the family or friends. Or by yourself to relax and enjoy the outdoors. Very clean and a bit of everything. Loved the outdoor art and playgrounds available. Beautiful pavilions and FREE PARKING which is hard to find in NOLA. City park is a must visit and the shaded areas through out are a big plus and if your lucky enough you might find an available swing to chill on. I highly recommend this park and will be going back. Gorgeous spot for pictures.

Ida Whitley

This place is Unbelievable! Whish I could visit it like I want. Think I would be there several times a week. Just not enough time in a day

Lillie S

Absolutely stunning garden and artwork. Highly recommend stopping here. And to top it off, it's free!

Brandy Brisby

Very cool place definitely would come back if in New Orleans again

Mikel Severe

One of the best parks you will find anywhere in the US. The little train will take you around a park filled with giant trees who's branches stretch to the ground. Great for photos. They also have bikes and peddle cars and boats you can rent.

Gilbert Edwards

Great park. Everything one would want in a park can be found here. The list is to long to write. Must see for yourself.

Brenda Shultz

Absolutely beautiful park. So many beautiful tress, park for children and little train to ride through the park. Able to purchase cafe du Mond coffee too. Great place for a wedding!

Trish Gleason

So much fun for all ages. Family friendly but adults can find plenty of fun too. I definitely want to return and explore more.

Eldon Hernandez

Great place for an afternoon walk. If you want to get away for a Sunday afternoon to enjoy nature and some art, this is the place to go.

Nicole Abdin

The best park in my city. Several things to do. Nice and relaxing park to exercise or just unwind.

Harvey Yancy

Great park for a great city! Love the upgrades. Been coming here since I was a kid. Now I bring my daughter and my nephews all the time.

Oliver Chambliss

Very peaceful and chill environment. @kidd_studio_designs YouTube: Kidd_vlogs

Visiting NOLA without seeing City Park would be a mistake. Set aside a full day or more, it's worth it. The sculpture park, art museum, and much more. Perfect place for all ages. Plenty of spots for grilling and the park is also set up for biking. Well worth the money for the things that do cost.

Jim T

TAKE A STREET CAR - to this amazing city park. That's right get a breather from the quarter and venture out here. Some beautiful sights about. Old trees, fantastic and as unexpected strange art. Out here is a sculpture garden, Botanical Garden, Train Garden, Cafe Dumond, Art museum and soon to be Childrens Museum just to name a few. Along with that, a wonderful place for a picnic. Only down side, is the park could use a few more covered spaces to protect you from the rain or a brief respite from the sun.

Dmann Florida

Had a great time walking around the park. Had some beignets, played some mini golf, and the looked at the sculptures. Wonderful!

Victoria Archer

Great park for my kiddos to enjoy and let some energy out. We had a good time

Jessica Huck

My son has autism.. It's a great place for peace and quiet for anyone. And being out there with my son helps him very much. We go every sunday

Dale E. Boswell

It's in New Orleans. A beautiful park. What more can you say. I have been going there since I saw the Beatles there in 1964 in City Park Stadium. What a memory.

Raymond Sweet

This park has a great sculpture garden. Great walking path in the sculpture garden. You can get yourself lost in the garden. There are now two sides of the garden. A great lagoon. Now I think the lagoon needs to be cleaned and a little clear. They could use more variety and diversity in their staff. It's amazing a 60% black city still manages to have spaces with no Black employees or managers etc etc

Stephanie Mccullaugh

Always a great time. Love all the updates to storyland

Elisabet Alfonso

Beautiful park! I absolutely love the oak trees. It's a great place to take a stroll or have a picnic under a big shady tree.

Walter B

It's a place to where I take my baby girl to.

Eduard Hernàndez

Fantastic park. Highly recommended, especially for those visitors who wish to explore other areas aside from the French quarter. New Orleans museum of art is located there. There is also an open air sculpture exhibit that is worth checking out. Park is easy to reach from downtown using a streetcar line.

Alivia

This place is so scenic and lovely to take a stroll through. Lots of cool wildlife to see and beautiful trees and plants. I recommend also visiting the Sculpture Garden there as it is free and open to the public. Make sure to bring water and walking shoes though. They also have a Cafe Du Monde there in as well where you can cool off.

C Monroe

Large park with multiple attractions/places to keep you interested

Lenora Jinkens

Loved the sculpture park and art gallery. Park had nice smooth walkways and lots of shade. The art gallery was amazing with some paintings from 1600s

Andrea F

This is the absolute best park in this area. New Orleans Museum of Art is located here, the marathon ends here, walking trails, botanical gardens are just some of the highlights. The Celebration in the Oaks that happens around the end of the year holidays is a thrill as the whole park is decorated. There are music festivals, and various other cultural festivals. Horse stables where you can go riding. There is something for everyone. Seriously. You could spend several days here and not do everything.

Jeremy Thacker

Such a cool park. We biked to the park from our hotel downtown via the Lafitte greenbelt bike path. The park is HUGE and offers a great variety of scenery and activities. Definitely a good use of a morning or afternoon to get an authentic view of the city.

Jacklin Rivera

This park is huge and so many things to do with kids and for adult. Lots of fun here with money or without. But of course more with money. Plan a wedding a party or just a fun day. Everyone will love it. Amusement park, bicycling, putt putt, beautiful views, museums, something for everyone.

Paul Russell

Finally got to visit the sculpture garden expansion. Its got a few items that are uniquely intricate, like stuff that you dont see in other similar art collections. But, the original area of the sculpture garden is still quite the spectacle.

Carol Hutchison

One of the biggest public parks in the America. It is beautiful and serene. So many things to do and see!!! Love to come here an just hang out. Magnificent for photographs and family events. Best to explore when the weather is not too hot.

Becky gardens

Wonderful park. Great Lakes and ponds to walk around. The botanical garden and sculpture gardens are beautiful.

M Wen

Best park in the world! Pretty and spacious, it has something for everyone. Love Storyland and all the fun activities there. Can't go wrong with the gorgeous Botanical Gardens and picturesque Sculpture Garden. Stop at the old Casino building for some beignets. And of course, no review is complete without mentioning the large grove of mature oaks in the world. And with the Chime Tree, City Park is top notch!

Cyndi Jackson

City Park is an amazing little nugget hidden in the heart of New Orleans. There really is so much to do. On this visit I attended a beautiful wedding in the outdoor waterside Peristyle Pavillion. Although you're surrounded by the hustle and bustle of the park the atmosphere felt isolated and intimate during the ceremony. Lots of nearby parking made access to the pavilion easy and convenient.

Kelly Hendrickson

So pretty and so BIG. Plenty of things to do through multiple trips. A great place to take kids with many parts of the park for them to play at. The sculpture garden is quite beautiful. Eagerly awaiting the children's museum to open. I frequent this park with my children.

Kati Thomas

Beautiful open space, walking paths all in great shape. Variety of activities available. Convenient to trolley line.

mystic fourness

Lovely park. Saw a cute turtle. My dog loved it too. Great for pokemon go!

Jude Olinger

The new addition to the outdoor sculpture garden is beautifully designed and the artwork is stunning. Another great addition to City Park. We are very fortunate to have such a world-class sculpture garden in New Orleans.

Cynthia Girtman

Just Stunning...and I only saw a small portion of it!

SMP MPP

Really enjoyed myself at City Park. I was there for my granddaughter birthday party and it was beautiful. Our hostess for the party was Kelsey and she was awesome. Thank you Kelsey for being so polite and assisting us for Destiny party. The park is beautiful, and Storyland is also beautiful.

Ashley White

Great place to walk around and enjoy the beautiful landscape.

Brannen Jones

This park is huge!! The front entrance (i think) has a very nice field to throw football or flip on

Hannah Hasselbacher

I love this park. I use to go here all the time when I lived here. This last time I took my sister in law and her daughter along with my 2 youngest. We went to Story Land, which was my first time there, and I felt like the equipment needs a good cleaning. It's old and outdated. Definitely needs a facelift. The whole park in it's entirety is great. Lots of options for things to do, tons of space and is a great family place to go when visiting New Orleans.

Heath Cadriel

Beautiful park... I highly recommend going right at the crack of dawn. I feel that's when it's at it's most beautiful and serene

Vin Man

One of the premier green spaces in the city. I love City Park. It is beautiful and so much to explore. The amusement park, the botanical gardens, museum of art, and coming soon a new Children's Museum, St John's Bayou...it's a great place. A must for the list of things to do in New Orleans.

Omer Koren

Great place to take the family and take the attention away (for a bit) from the French quarter.

Christopher May

This park is huge! It has a lot of things to do and see. We have discovered this place from staying at an AirBnB. Our host has told us about it. We came here to look at it. We also found a Cafe de Monde. Since the one on french quarter was already closed when we got to NOLA. We spent about an hour here. Also we parked here for free to ride the tram to go downtown. It is very convenient way to park and not worry about the high cost of parking. We will explore the park more next time we come.

Mark Leonard

Awesome place for all ages! There's plenty to do here from children's museum to miniature golf to story land and amusement park. You can fish, rent a peddle boat, and the new Orleans museum of art is here. There's playground sets for the kids to play on all around the park. There's handicap accessible parking and entrances available as well as restrooms. Really too much to list. The attractions don't open til 11 though.

Michael LaFrance

City Park has come a loooong way since Katrina. It has become a world-class park. You can tell they spend a lot of time on all the little things to make it a great experience. The flowering fields this weekend were stunning and the Besthoff Sculpture Garden at NOMA is a must-see. It's free and has some really innovative sculptures along with a few great classics. I'm not sure if the train was running this weekend, but that has always been one of my favorite things to do, especially if you are there with kids.

Stefano Cataldi

Amazing park. Recommend getting a bike and wonder around in the park. The sculptures outside by the measum are gorgeous.

Rob Weber

Great place to relax and just enjoy life . Beutiful at its best

Justin Brown

Awesome park, we had a blast wondering around here. Art was beautiful and the walk was pleasant. Would definitely return.

City park is a great place to visit. Beautiful showcase of New Orleans and Louisiana's nature.

Robin Deal

Huge park that is worth a visit. Great for families. Has a driving range and golf course too.

Elizabeth Jeffrey

My dog has to stay inside while I work all day. I was so excited to join City Park Dog Park! I've only been there twice and each time I see new things they have to offer. My dog loves it, and so do I. It's a great place to meet other people

YB Husain

The best park in the city! So many areas to explore and things to do. Lots of beautiful oaks to lay under to escape the direct sun. Wonderful place for the whole family! Please support our city parks!

Chelsea Nemer

Beautiful place to go to! Lots of statues to look at. Perfect place to take a break and look at all statues. Will definitely go to this place again and again.

Corey Lawson

Beautiful place very big. Hidden gazebos stages botanical garden inside sculpture garden playgrounds little amusement park. Auite a gem of a park highly recommend

Justine

This was a very large, clean, and well-maintained park. It had a little amusement area for children (with a roller coaster and possibly some other fair rides), a botanical garden, mini golf, and swan boat and bicycle rentals. None of these things are free but the prices seemed reasonable. It offered a quiet, relaxing break from the craziness of the city on our visit for the fourth of July.

troy loyacano

Great place to spend a half day. The Swan boat rental is perfect for lover's, couples, and kids. The beautiful oak trees and the tree lined sidewalk in front of the Museum of Art. The free, ( donations accepted) Sculpture garden is just beautiful, no bugs in the cool breeze is a huge plus.

Psychotic Cyborg

A nice place to visit for both tourists and locals. Make sure to bring bread for the ducks, and a camera for family pictures. The Morning Call is in city park, and we always stop to have some beignets and coffee there. It very quiet and peaceful, and the park is well taken care of.

Kelly Wagoner

Many things to see here, great chance to get outdoors. Art exhibits.

Sarah Wright

City Park is a must-do component of a trip to New Orleans, especially if you enjoy being active, appreciating art, or have smaller kiddos. It’s clear that major renovations and improvements have been done in the past couple years. This park is beautiful, well-kept, and has more than a day’s worth of activities. A couple of highlights: ~the sculpture garden is 5 acres of outdoor art and admission is free ~boats are available for rental at a low price on the lake ~only 3 miles from the French Quarter, which made for a nice run along Esplanade (we Ubered back)

David Mooney

It is a nice park with plenty of things to see and do, it is huge. There are beautiful sculptures and architecture, I would just like to see them better maintained (maybe pressure washed). This park has everything from buildings to cafes and even an amusement park. You can definitely spend all day here since there is so much to do. It is a picturesque park, you can take amazing pictures almost everywhere.

Jessica Laino

Love the new look! Storyland looks great.

Evangeline Nelson

City Park has it all. Most beautiful landscape, with walking and biking trails. Boat and bike rentals. Amusement park, putt putt golf, so many great activities. Take a stroll through the botanical and sculpture garden or visit our wonderful museum. City Park is my hang out spot, i love it!

Mary Junkin

Such a fun and cute place RIGHT near the city. Its wild that I never knew about it. A nice little walk, groomed pathways and nice sitting areas. Great stop for locals and people passing through. Variety of wildlife!

Deonn DeFord

Excellent South golf course. Just beautiful with all of the old trees. Excellent clubhouse and history.

Get Schwifty

Love city park so cool!! Saw two swans just swimming underneath the bridge and it made for some great pictures

David Irthum

This the best City Park I have visited. This City Park is family friendly with a museum of art, amusement area, a botanical garden, lagoon where you can rent canoes, paddle boats, bicycle rental, a children's museum, walking trails, football stadium and two restaurants.

Janaine A

Beautiful scenery. Lots to do with family. Playground, storyland, rentals.

Sunni Keister

I've been on two separate occasions to play mini golf with my husband. Had a blast both times. Both courses are fun, challenging, and well-kept. The park itself is beautiful and well maintained in it's own right. Makes for a wonderful stroll. Mark this as a spot to see for sure!

Christian Anglin

I got married at the Peristyle in October of 2018. This park has been a part of my family for years!! When my girl's become mothers of their own, I hope they'll do the same with their kids as well!!

P Walker

I cant rate this place. I was a patron on one of the worst tour companies ever, Diamond Tours. Diamond Tours do not deliver on their advertisements and I experienced a buffet dinner prepared by them that made me feel like I was reliving the Jim Crow era of the sixties. When I called to Express my experience I encounter a defensive, abrupt and argumentative customer care representative name Christine who was more interested in defending her company than listening to concerns.

Megan Douglas

There is so many beautiful statues and artwork throughout the park.. So much so we didn't have time to look at everything. They also have playgrounds, live concerts and if you go on a haunted night tour, this is one of the places they take you

Tariq Ramadan

Lots to do. Art museum, sculpture ark, miniature golf. Real golf and so so much more

Portia Chandler

Nice area. Very clean. Great for walking, jogging, taking pictures, sight seeing. Nice art sculptures. New Cafe Du Monde Location

Isaac Guin

Beautiful park full of must-see places for visitors to the city. If you're interested in taking photos, bring an extra battery, there is so much here to see yours may not last. You may even need multiple days to see everything that catches your attention Highly recommend visiting here!

Noelle Pike

SO MUCH TO SEE. This is an amazing place for all ages. Walk around, have a picnic, ride bikes or whatever. Just beautiful!

Raquel Marcelle

We LOVE the Swan paddle boat rides in City Park especially in the morning!!! It's absolutely beautiful and it's quiet We also take long walks in City Park where we get to site see and enjoy all the beautiful scenery and art the park has to offer.

John Strange

City Park is probably my favorite go to place in New Orleans. Can bus or bike there, if you drive there tends to be parking around. NOMA, sculpture garden, botanical garden, storyville. Soon to be children's museum,. Trails to ride or walk, waterways, lakes, trees, ball fields, music, events. I'm sure I'm forgetting lots

Shree Bee

I really enjoyed the scenery and atmosphere. The sculptures are captivating and the grounds are well taken care of. The restrooms are clean and modern. I feel in love with the mirror sculpture! Mirror selfies in the park!

Jessica Marie Allen

Beauftil place for a picnic, put put, or carnival rides. It’s super family friendly and awesome place on a bright day. When the weather isn’t that great check out NOMA which sits on the parks property

Brandi Otieno

Went to this Park twice and still didn't see everything. Awesome environment. There's an at museum, free sculpture garden, Cafe du Monde, a lake, a big oak tree with huge wind chimes and more. Had a great time exploring and wandering around.

Sage Johnston

Not a lot of tourist make it out of the quarter to see this park , but my gosh is it worth it. Park is almost completely covered by the shade of the Spanish Moss hanging from the trees. Making it a great place to be outside during the summer months. Also, the FREE sculpture garden has some really amazing pieces. the trail twists and turns around the garden, letting you make your own creative decisions as to where to go next. Don't miss out, go to City Park!!

Janice Watson

A park full of interesting sights. Be sure to bring with you water to drink. There is so much to offer and enjoy.

Chad Cosgrove

Really fun park. Clean. Plenty of ponds to fish for bass and activities.

Candace Howell

This is my get away from the city life. It's so peaceful. The botanical garden and sculpture garden is the way to go. But, don't forget about putt putt golfing! Fun for the whole family!

Dean K

City park is always a good place to go for the adults and the kids bike riding you name it putt golf and dog walking. The kids always love going to City Park even if you just going to the play area but if you bring them to Storyland they love it even more where you can see both of the fictional story book character homes like The Three Little Pigs and a little lady that lived in the shoe and a lot more. And don't forget there's theme park where you can ride rides like the roller coaster and beautiful antique carousel plus more.

Bryan Trigg

I'm thinking this place could be paradise! It has a heavenly otherworldly atmosphere.

Georgette Boyd

great place. I loved it. It is a huuugggeeee park!!! a must see!!

Camille Victoria DeCoursey

Beautiful and sprawling grounds for everyone to enjoy. Definitely do the paddle boats on the Big Lake and visit NOMA, and the new golf course looks great!

ArticHurricane 98

The sculpture garden is amazing. We loved all the fun artwork and how quiet it was yet still very convenient to get to. Would definitely recommend coming here!

Amber Power

Love walking around City Park on their walking trail. Kids love to play at playground.

Amanda Musick

Kids had A blast playing since moving here we have not gotten to city park we would like it is a true asset to the city

M. A. Wargo

Nice trees. Botanical garden had a large assortment of peppers.

Greg Finch

What an oasis in the city. My hangout is the disc golf course. But, there is something for everyone to do outside. Check out the sculpture garden and the new Children's Museum.

Lauren Thompson

Beautiful park to visit away from the hustle and bustle of downtown. It was a little gem of serenity.

Isaac Belonga

Safe play area for toddlers and young children with nearby seating. Waterfowl feeding close by. Likewise is a refreshment area. A garden, museum, stadium and rides are close too. Lots of free parking.

M Stout

Best day with my favorite son! We really enjoyed the NOMA and the Park. The seagulls in particular are amazing! Save your bread to feed to the seagulls. They almost eat right out of your hand.

Carrie Nicole

Absolutely gorgeous park with great amenities! We loved the live oaks. We enjoyed trying beignets and coffee on our tour. Highly recommended if in New Orleans!

Moats ian

Loved it. Gorgeous walk ways. Art Museum had great pieces

Chris Flanigan

My wife and I drove through most of the park but stopped and rented a paddle boat for awhile. We thought the park had great amenities and was very affordable for families to take advantage of "the extras." We hope to come back soon on another nice day!

Ben Dantoni

It's one of the great city parks in our country. It's Nola's loving room and the added facilities and v expansion post K has been amazing.

Caleb Hendrix

Park was so busy on the day we went it was hard to enjoy. A wedding, music video shoot, and a camp took up the whole park. It was a nice park just not enough space in the day we went.

Errol Orticke

I love riding through the park on streets that are two car lanes wide on each side, & the old oaks come together from either side to create the most beautiful canapoy. Really helps to know the trees have survived the worst storms & continue to flurish. #200plusyears

Tessa Cullen

I couldn't believe how huge this place was ! There are too many things to even mention them all, but the sculpture park was really pretty and the Lake was beautiful. The old trees here are just amazing and I'm sure full of stories, adequate parking, and the roses there are lovely

Brandon Z James

We visited the botanical gardens, it was a great way to take a break from the city.

E. Andrews

Very nice. The newish Cafe DuMonde location is a good food option. The sculpture garden is wonderful and the train is interesting. I didn't get to see a lot of the park. I got to eat a snowball at the mini golf.

Gail Blaine

I always love to stop by city park whenever I am in the city, either for the botanical gardens, the sculpture garden, the museum, coffee and beignets, the lagoon, the walking path or just to sit under the majestic oaks. The park offers something for everyone. Truly a great place to spend some time. And if you are a visitor in the city and staying in the French Quarter, you can just hop a streetcar and it will take you to city park.

Beautiful park with ample space for picnics, RC car races, volleyball, pick-up soccer, sunrise yoga in summer - you name it, you can do it. Sunsets over the lake are particularly beautiful. If you've got a few hours to kill and the weather is nice, head there. It's a very different side of NOLA.

This is my favorite park in the US, so far! I love the variety of trees and plants decorating the grounds and the abundance of activities available in the park.
