The turn going in (right after the sign to turn) is blocked. Nearly wrecked. Then there is construction... Apparently it's "closed". Dont waste your time.

Nice rose garden and flower beds. Well maintained, but poorly labelling makes identifying plants difficult. BREC should add informational signs about birds and butterflies common around the garden to enhance learning opportunities.

Some of these areas need grooming and maintenance. There are a lot of dead plants along some of the paths. Plants could use labeling for educational purposes.

Beautiful gardens! We took family pics there and the then kids played at the playground. Loved the gazebo and enjoyed just walking around. Lovely place.

Love to come to the brec park over there ...my kids love it ! Its clean, safe and fun. Never rally been into the gardens building but..I have heard since they have redid everything that it is very beautiful !

Although the space may be accessible 24 hours, their website indicates to is open 7 am to sundown. This garden is very beautiful and a nice corner of the Independence Park campus. The Main Public Library abuts the grounds making for a nice place to enjoy an afternoon.

This is a nice place for a walk if you live nearby, or you happen to be going to the park or library already. Not really worth a special trip all by itself. The paths around the outside of the property are in serious need of maintenance.

Such a pretty pretty place. Came here for a photography class and spent all day in the gardens. Took approximately 214 photos and they all came out so beautiful. Many different types of things to see and do.

This place is only tolerable in the spring and fall but it does present itself as a nice small botanical garden
