A phenomenal selection of garden options. The place has something for people of every age. Wonderful gift shops inside. The children would enjoy the seasonal decorations and miniature structures outside. I loved the birds and fish features. This stop put me in a creative mode. I wish we had a Linden Enchanted Garden in Southwest Michigan.

Recently purchased a plant for a funeral, my wife picked a colored pot and what she wanted in it. When we saw the plant at the funeral home it was in a white pot and not what was chosen. Not sure after you carry the pot to the counter and sit it there why it was switched. Very disappointing that something that simple got screwed up. We will make future purchases elsewhere

If you’ve been here before you know you have to first pay and later on they bring you your food. Well today I ordered the French toast and when the girl brought it to me, she said they had ran out of syrup. That was very displeasing as I had already paid for the meal. Shouldn’t they first tell you if they’re out of something and then have you decide whether you still want to order or not? The food was great but I didn’t get to eat my toast as there was not much flavor to them without the syrup. ..

Over priced stock that many trees have been sitting in pots over 10 years. Instead of using them for landscape and eating thier own cost they raise prices. Most plants are 30%-40% over priced then any nursery in the state. Also becarful, they mark many zone 8-6 plants as hardy in our area and they aren't even if heavily mulched. As an avid gardener my whole life, I strongly recommend avoiding this cesspool of moneypit and lies.

It is a very nice store with great items, but their customer service is terrible. Not one person asked if I needed help finding something, not one person said hello or smiled, and one lady made a phone call before helping me check out. It could have waited. I think giving 3 stars is generous. I probably won't go back.

Lintons is our go to place our planting needs. It offers quite a variety of indoor and outdoor plants. it also has a vast array of gifts and decorative items for your home. If you get hungry while you are shopping, a small cafe that offers sandwiches and wraps and even a glass of wine. During the summer there is even a petting zoo for the kids!

If it was possible to leave a negative star, I would. I went with my family and it was the most unwelcoming atatmosphere from a service standpoint. Not a single smile or hello, barely got attention from staff as they were clearly busier on their phones even though we were the only ones there. We hoped to return in the future for their spring and summer activities but I wouldn't waste my time nor recommend anyone else does either.

A little pricey but for all this landscape center has to offer.... affordable..if you love gardening you have to make Linton's at least a monthly event throughout the spring and summer months. When you do, don't plan on doing much else as you could easily spend an entire day. Petting zoo, swan rides, trees, shrubs and ornamental plants galore not to mention the to die for fairy garden department taboot! What more could you ask for?

I love walking around and getting ideas. I buy plants every year. My only complaint is having to get the plants outside, getting a ticket and then having to go inside to pay. All the attractions are outside as well but tickets have to be purchased inside.

Great quality mum's and pansy's for my fall garden. Excellent variety of landscaping and floral plants. A little pricy but that reflects good quality. Good pull wagons for your merchandise and can drive up to curb for loading. Animals to visit! Bring quarters for your goat food. Where else can you pet an emu ? No charge for visiting the animals but there are several activities to pay for w the kiddies, train ride, paddle boat, etc. Gift shop area is large , pretty and well organized. With small coffee shop type place. Would be nice place to go in winter time and have a beverage while sitting in the greenhouse.

I ordered flowers for my mother to honor my grandmother's birthday, who had just passed. I placed the order online over a week before they were to be delivered. Unfortunately, the delivery was never made. When I contacted them, they informed me that the address was out of their delivery area and that they tried to make other arrangements - but NEVER called me!! No apology, just an offer for a refund. VERY disappointed, and now I would never trust them to deliver something in the future.

Went to this place. It's more or less an outdoor nursery with a handful of things for little kids. I liked the petting zoo for my daughter. The go karts weren't running, the gemstone thing wasn't running, like half the attractions weren't. I wanted to do lunch but I was so over the disappointment of the garden not being enchanting we skipped it and went home. Want plants? Sure buy here. Want a fun experience? Not this place

The little cafe tucked in the corner, had delightful dishes. My chicken pecan salad with fresh greens and cranberries were scrumptious. The seasonal decor and fresh plants were very nice. However, I do think the items are a little pricey compared to other local establishments that sell the same items. Your senses will not be disappointed though!

I enjoy coming here, but they recently shortened their cafe hours so it closes at 5, making it even more useless than the sullen teenagers staffing it. The plants are nice and so is the petting zoo. The home decor is a bit overpriced.

Is it a garden center or theme park? Not sure but prices for plants and shrubs are extremely high. Workers were too busy selling train tickets to take care of customer who wanted to buy three hydrangeas. Left disappointed.

Free petting zoo with donkey, goats, pigs, a variety of birds, and more! We enjoy the talking parrots and the vocal donkey!! Plants and merchandise here are on the pricy side, but there is a large variety of interesting things to see. Lots of extras here including a restraunt, train rides - excellent around Easter as there are more animals and different activities. Making a fairy garden? This is a must visit for your garden accesories!!

Beautiful. Lots of lanscaping ideas. I bought 2 plants last year and they are thriving. The end of the year sale is very good. They are more expensive than the big box stores, but the plants are very healthy. You get what you pay for. The staff is helpful and knowledgeable.

I had been reading up on this place all week, as well as the reviews. I was beyond excited. As soon as we stepped out the doors of the gift shop, it was utter disappointment. The map is made out to make the place seem HUGE, but it really isn’t at all. It’s a hop, skip, & jump wide. It wasn’t very upkept, and I was very disappointed. This outing was a bust, and my boyfriend was also very disappointed. I was really looking forward to the train. Was told it wasn’t running because of weather, drove by about an hour later and it was running? There was also no feed to feed any of the fish when that is VERY highly advertised?..... very disappointed with that. Neat place, but overrated.

I received a Thomas Kinkade Christmas House and it was absolutely gorgeous. My husband has been sending me these each Christmas for the past 10-12 years and without any doubt, this is the prettiest one I have ever received. Lintons offers a plethora of activities for everyone in your family. From train rides and a petting zoo for the kids, to home decor, bath products, clothing and accessories and everything for your yard and garden for everyone else. Everything is designed and presented beautifully. The only issue here is the cafe and the lack of staff. Lintons advertises on television regularly so they anticipate large crowds. The cafe has only 6 or 7 tables that seat 2 comfortably or 4 cramped. The food selection is ample and what we had was delicious. The trouble is with the service, there is none. The gals behind the counter do their best, but frankly they are overwhelmed by the amount of people the place draws. Mom and I were having a girls day out. The atmosphere is elegant and here we are having to get our own water, silverware, food, drinks and clear our own table. We received our sandwiches and then had to wait in line for 10 minutes to find out what happened to our drinks. We felt bad for the families with children trying to feed their kids in cramped quarters and sporadic service. If they are serious about continuing to serve food, they have to expand the cafe and add wait staff because our experience was not pleasant. They also need more staff in all areas of their business. I wanted to buy something and had to hunt down the manager to get something down for me to purchase it. There is nothing worse than having to look for help to buy something. We will be back, but thete is room for improvement.

I went to the cafe there, and unfortunately, was greeted by awful customer service and it happened to ruined my morning. First, the older woman working there was rude, unhelpful, and very condescending. She seemed annoyed when I asked her questions and barely bothered to answer them. Then, I ordered two cappacinos TO GO. First, it was not a cappuccino, but a ratio of 80 percent lukewarm milk and a splash of coffee. Second, she informed me there were no lids for the to go cups AFTER I already paid. Seeing as I cannot drive while holding an unopened cappuccino, I could not drink them. I usually don’t ever waste my energy on writing reviews, but this overpriced cafe is less than worth your money. I usually can handle either bad customer service or a bad capp — not both!

My mother and I had a specific question about buying a product, but finding someone to help was impossible. Another customer told us she was having the same trouble, and was in need of assistance. When we did find one of the "gardeners" they were completely unhelpful and could not answer our question. We bought a few items before leaving, but we went to a greenhouse in Topeka for the items we were looking for and better advice in the end.

I have been to Linton's several times and have loved the experience. But this time was different. I went to get two koi fish for our outdoor pond. I had my neighbor with me. We asked the lady to come help us. She said she would be right there. After standing around for 15 minutes in the sun, we went back and she had forgotten about us. She sent another lady. My neighbor finally caught the fish we wanted and the lady told us to go through the gift shop to pay. She gave us no instructions on how to acclimate the fish and really didn't seem to know what she was doing. Thankfully I know how to care for Koi as I have had them for several years. I just think they should have not been in such a hurry to get us out of there and made sure we had the instructions before we left. Fish are living things too!

Be careful when buying plants here. This summer, they tried to charge us double the advertised sale price on almost everything we were trying to buy. I wound up leaving without 2/3 of the plants I took to the checkout.

A visit to Linton's is always an "above and beyond" surprise. The beauty and creativity on display in the Garden Center, floral and gift shop, and in the products themselves are truly inspiring. It is enjoyable just to walk around the property. I have been extremely happy with the floral arrangments that I have purchased there. The team of designers is top-notch. When Linton's landscaped our home, I was thoroughly impressed with the professionalism of all of the staff, and was extremely happy with the end result. When one of our bushes did not survive the winter, they were very good about honoring their 2-year "GuaranTree", replacing it soon after we called. Living in southeast Michigan, we feel it is worth the drive to go to Linton's. It is our destination of choice for South Bend chocolates and Wood Wick candles. There truly isn't any place like it in the region!

I think they may be good but they weren't open. My wife and I made a special 2.5 hour trip on July 4 to visit there for the first time. Their web site said they were open. Their Facebook page said they were open. Their voicemail said they were open. But they weren't open. There was a group of 13 people from Grand Haven, MI (4 hours away) and a couple from the Chicago area who pulled into the parking lot when we were there all under the same impression. I don't care if they close on the 4th but they can at least update their Facebook page that is not hard at all. I sent them an email via their web page and never received a response. Two days later I began receiving tons of spam. I know it was from their web page because I only use that email for friends and family and rarely get any spam. Silly me for making an exception. We may try again in August. The lesson is if you plan to visit on a holiday call several days beforehand and talk to a live person to make sure they are open and do not send them emails via their web page. Shipshewana was open at least and we got several wonderful Hosta's there and found a very nice restaurant, The Pumpkin vine cafe.
