You have the feddbacks of real people who buy the products of Dammann\'s Garden Company (Gardener) in the state of Indiana.
Now the business gets a score of 4.6 over 5 and the rating has been calculated on 110 reviews.
You must have seen that it reaches an reviews average is nearly the highest, and it's founded on a very high number of opinions, so we can say that the rating is quite faithful. If many people have bothered to leave their review when they've done well with the business, it works.
You know that we do not usually stop to give feddbacks when these are good and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or incidence...
This Gardener corresponds to the category of Garden center.
Love this place! It is beautiful in spring especially. They have the best plants in town.
Always helpful and eager to please.
Wonderful garden shop
Super helpful staff, great prices, and an awesome store cat!!!
Arrived 3 hours after opening and sale items were completely sold out. Talk about a scam! We spend $500 - $800 a year there every year. Not anymore.
I have had nothing but great experience at Dammann's. Employees are all friendly, eager and extremely helpful.
Excellent
Wonderful local garden center. They have a great variety and the staff are friendly. I brought in a plant I got from them 8 months ago just for advice on how to help it and got it immediately. It's also super peaceful to walk around their greenhouse.
Best garden center in Indiana. The staff have so much knowledge about plants from all over the world. I love their succulents! Do not miss this place! You have to check them out, but be careful I always buy more than can fit in my car. Ha!
Damman's Garden Company has truly transformed the opportunities for landscaping and gardening for residents of the southside and the southern communities. We have been able to find landscaping items that have truly set our yard apart. Having searched for unique trees and shrubs for the course of many years, we no longer have to travel to the northside or other cities/states. The prices are definitely lower than where we have found similar items and the service is second to none. The excitement of the staff for the selections and their knowledge is contagious. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to grow our landscaping hobby and improve the overall aesthetics of our home!
Courtney, from the south side store,is so knowledgeable and insightful about plants and flowers,etc...that she has helped in making our landscaping look Beautiful. She has such a passion and joy for what she does and it shows. The entire staff is just Fantaatic and helpful.I always believe yigfor what you get.At Dammann’s,you are paying for a Great product and Excellebt service. So many Beautiful plants and flowered. If you are looking for ideas for your landscaping or whatever your needs are I HIGHLY recommend Courtney and Damnann’s.You will not be disappointed!

Ever since we moved to Homecroft, we looked forward to getting our plants from Dammann's on Emerson. We spent many days and a lot of money shopping there over the last 4 years. This year my boyfriend decided to apply for a summer job there since we liked it there so much and everyone that worked there always recognized us and WAS always so friendly to us. They interviewed him and it went well, they seemed excited that he was going to work there bc they remembered how many times we had been there over the past summers. They told him he had a job and made him wait 3 weeks to start and fired him after the first day bc the new owner, Matt, didn't get a good look at him before he started. He didn't like that he had shoulder length hair and tattoos even though he did everything they asked and was completely polite. He has never felt more discriminated against in his life. He even wore his hair inside his hat all day and at the end of the day one of the managers asked if he could just maybe wear his hair in a bun the next day bc, Matt, is weird about those things and likes everyone to be tidy. He agreed. When he got home he received a call saying he wouldn't be a "good fit" and they wouldn't need him anymore. He asked if it had anything to do with Matt not liking the way he looked and they said they didn't want to get into that. It's sad that we can't shop there anymore, I refuse to support a business that discriminates. You may look "tidy", Matt, but your character is poor. ***RESPONSE*** I understand there are many factors that go into when you are able to start newly hired employees. That was not my point. I would highly recommend that you do a more thorough job in interviewing your employees as to not waste their time or yours having them think they have a job for three weeks and then letting them go the first day. I still have to disagree that you did not discriminate. I know there were several times he received comments on his hair. If you're implying that he didn't reach your standards of appearance, I would have to disagree also because he has never been the type of person to not take pride in his appearance. I think I was misunderstood about the tidy comment, I totally understand a business would like to appear tidy and presentable. It was a word used by a manager to describe how you like your employees to look(which is obviously understandable as well) when commenting on his hair. The interview process is for finding out if someone is a "good fit", not the first day. This was only going to be a summer job while we work on opening our coffee shop here in Southport and you should be more considerate of your employees time and energy.
Awesome everyone was so helpful
Great place and helpful knowledgeable staff
Huge selection with a friendly and knowledgeable staff. Will definitely be back!
Beautiful selection, wonderful and incredibly helpful staff!
Really enjoy this place. Very large with wide selections. Greenhouse in winter is nice as well. Five stars.
Damon's has remodeled and it's very nice but there's still a little pricey on their plants
Very knowledgeable staff and a good selection.
Dammanns is a awesome place to shop year around for outdoor and indoor plants as well as garden tools and accessories. I’ve been shopping there for almost 8 years because of the wide varietal of plants and friendly employees something you don’t get from a big box store.
Great employees, good prices !
What a great experience shopping here. I always find something new, learn something new, and walk away completely satisfied and excited to go home and plant something! The store is neat and organized, and you can tell the employees are all gardening fanatics, they love to talk landscape and gardening, it is fun just to drop in for good conversation some times... usually I leave having found a deal on something I did not expect to come across too! What a fun place!
Dammans' is a pleasure to visit. The staff is friendly and helpful. The garden center is clean and organized, both inside and out, and arranged to really showcase the beauty of the wonderful plants, trees, shrubs, statuary and other wonderful things. It's a perfect one-stop shopping experience because they have everything including wonderful plants, planting soil, pottery, landscaping stone and mulch, bird feeders and seed fountains and everything else you need to make a yard and garden beautiful. I definitely recommend Dammans. It's the best garden center in Indianapolis.
Best in town
Very knowledgable.
Really good place for your garden.
It's an ok retailer for the South side but they could use more staff. Impossible to get anyone to help you find anything. Probably not the place for you if you have questions.
Excellent selection (huge) very friendly helpful staff !
I usually stop in Dammann's Garden Company once or twice a month. Fantastic product! Their selection is AMAZING with hard to find varieties of trees and shrubs. Also, offer great varieties of house plants. Staff is super helpful! 100% satisfied with this company! Oh and the new look of the store is awesome!!!
Be cautious about doing business with this retailer I was sold a fountain that had no directions when we opened up the pump package.and a piece was missing....the part that connected the hose to the pump.... on 2 occasions I spoke to different representatives at the nursery, a woman who said if we gave them dimensions, they would send the missing part. When we called to do so the male representative said he would check on it and get back to us...he never did. We finally made a piece to connect the hose to the pump only to find out the pump did not work. When I bought the fountain for $149.00 the receipt said As Is but when I questioned the status and what might be wrong with it, the sales woman said it was brand new and nothing was wrong with it! I
Great products and helpful staff. Minus one star for being a bunch of communists, and minus another star because the prices are a little higher than the bigger box stores, but still on par for most garden shops.
I went to Dammann’s this morning based on their good reviews and I was definitely not disappointed. I got there right at opening and an employee named Phil found me browsing the trees. He spent a couple hours showing me around, helping me figure out what I wanted, and picking out a dozen trees. All around great customer service, a very helpful and knowledgeable staff. They have a big selection of beautiful trees and other plants. Skip the big box, go to Dammann’s.
Just a phone call and the staff was so knowledgeable I can't wait to make a trip up there today!
Very good experience Very friendly employees. Large variety of plants, trees, bushes & dry goods. Good pricing. Will be a return visit.
Great staff great selection. Staff was knowledgeable and did not make us feel rushed with selections
Best quality trees and plants in the metro area.
Great selection of plants. Very knowledgeable people.
Dammann's has a wide and beautiful selection of plants, flowers, shrubs, trees and yard ornaments. The prices are reasonable when you take into consideration how well the plants are taken care of. Their staff is also wonderful! Today I brought my son with me and had forgotten to bring his stroller, but seeing me lugging around his car-seat carrier, one of the staff offered me a cart and then brought it out to me. I can't say enough good things about Dammann's!
Employees are very knowledgeable and friendly. They get you what you're looking for and no BS. They have a very good selection of healthy plants and trees and offer a warranty.
Very helpful, knowledgeable and nice staff.
We shop here several times a year. Always a great experience. I bought my Traeger grill here and all my supplies for the grill. All of our plants for our garden and flower beds are purchased here. Pricing is fair and totally worth the drive. The people are great and always willing to help. Can't wait to go back in a few weeks to grab some fruit trees. You won't be disappointed!
I LOVE this garden center. Great variety of plants and landscaping products. They also have a friendly and knowledgable staff. I got a couple of yards of dirt delivered to my house and the process was easy and pain free!
They are always pleasant and helpful.
Destination garden center for sure. Cleanest nursery and store that I’ve ever experienced.
Great staff, wonderful selection of plants.
I love shopping at Dammann’s! Everyone is so friendly and knowledgeable. They always have a great selection of plants. Choosing which ones to bring home is the hard part! We have already visited twice this season and I’m planning my next trip! ❤️❤️❤️
Came here for the first time and I’m sooo thankful I did. Lots of friendly and knowledgeable staff, it was so nice to see so many smiling faces of people wanting to help. They have an amazing selection and great pricing, can’t wait to go back!
Wonderful plants! Really nice people!

Helpful employees check on you periodically as you shop. Appreciate their knowledge and friendliness!
Very friendly service. Plants are very fairly priced. Highly recommended!!!
