A letter to Juniper Landscaping, Ft. Myers, from a concerned citizen. What irritates me most is when a large successful company fails to maintain its fleet of vehicles properly. Today was a typical beautiful summer day and around 11:30 am driving down SR 70 E in LAKEWOOD Ranch, FL. I come up to a red light and in front of my car was a Juniper Landscaping box truck. Must be the delivery truck for the company, but as soon as the light turned green, I and the cars around me were overcome and surrounded by dark exhaust smoke. This truck created a toxic plume of exhaust and it lingered for at least the 4 miles I was behind it until I decided to pull over into the gas station. I felt badly for the people driving in their convertibles and also for the people that had their windows open. FLORIDA doesn’t have “yearly car/truck inspection” laws like they do up North, however that might be something the people should look into because clearly Juniper Landscaping company wouldn’t be allowed to drive on our roadways until their trucks passed basic maintenance tests. Don’t pollute our neighborhoods! Fix your damn vehicles!

Do not use this company. Joe has nothing but attitude and doesn’t do his job as promised. Juniper broke our sprinkler head back on Oct 17 (it’s now Nov 21 and it’s still broken) and when I reported they said it was fixed.... all they did was turn off the water so I woukdn’t notice. I turned the system back on and water is shooting into the street from the broken sprinkler head and the rest of the system won’t shut off so now my whole yard is flooded. I was told they’d be here first thing in the morning and nothing. They won’t even respond to my neighbors calls or the HOA.

UPDATE: I am pleased to say that Juniper stepped up to the plate and made things right. After posting my original review, I was contacted immediately and they sprung into action. We had a way better experience with a gentleman that came out. He acknowledged the issue and provided an option to fix it. I'm impressed with the turn around time and I know they take their reputation seriously and therefore I am giving credit where credit it due. Thank you for the attention to this matter, it's nice to know that someone cared. I don't normally take the time to write reviews but I was so disappointed with Juniper, specifically the Bradenton division. Our irrigation was installed by the Venice division from what I understand but since then the Bradenton branch was created. We have a bubbler that is constantly dripping water. A technician came out and found "nothing wrong." I called because the drip was still happening and the landscape manager called me back again to tell me there was no problem. After further talks the landscape manager himself came to the house and his attitude and body language was terrible. He was obviously annoyed he had to come out. He was not willing to help, I wish I could load a video of the issue (which is still there). I am not asking them to do anything for free, I was well aware that I have to pay for a repair of some sort but truly a terrible experience. He made me feel like a total nuisance - really disappointing.

I hired Juniper for a relatively small job reestablishing mulch beds and hedge trimming around my neglected yard. The crew was capable and knowledgeable, arrived with the right equipment, and completed the work as agreed. The plants they supplied to extend my hedge appear to be top quality. I feel it was well worth the price to hire a professional service. I will hire them again.

Our lawn is dying, sprinklers broken, we have lived in waterford community, punta gorda for 2 months. When i try to call customer service, i Always get a recording, and no one ever calls back. They are probably collecting alot of money for this community but providing 0 services. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY!

Nick is rude ignorant manager. No professional respect to customers at all. For 2 months, they have refused to weed eat behind my house. The grass is 20" tall!! When I told Nick, I expect it fixed today, while his crew is here or else I will share my photos for his review, he hangs up like a little boy. Juniper does not care about a quality job. They care about doing just enough work to keep the account.

After giving this company a scathing review for not responding, I came home from work today and it was like I had an early visit from Santa. Juniper replaced the queen palm that died within 6 months of being installed at my new built home. Must give credit when credit is due. This company did the right thing which says a lot and stands behind their products and work in my situation. Thanks Juniper.

I myself have been with this company for about 2 years now, everyone always critizes etc... But we should all come together to help each other and make this an even better business. Everything takes time and patience to do, it takes hard work and time and professionals to do these jobs. My respect to everyone in the office and managers especially the ones like myself out hear sweating our butts off, working all the time to make sure everyone in the communities are satisfied that I need the money that I barely spend time with my newborn and wife. I live in Tivoli in Miromar Lakes. I’ve had a ongoing concern that has still been left unresolved after many frustrating attempts to resolve the issue. We’ve called the main office in Ft Myers 3 times over the past week. This was in addition to asking the field workers least 3 times as well to pick up 3 piles of clippings laying in the landscaping. I’ve been told on numerous occasions that the issue would be resolved but I’m disappointed that their repeated committments were not honorably kept. Extremely frustrated with the service and lack of credibility
