Wow, the owner/manager of the Windsor gardener might be one of the rudest entrepreneur's that I have come across. My teenageers (15 and 13) each needed to to purchase a small plant for their school projects so we decided to head to the Windsor Gardener to pick some up. This is a bit of a unique situation because the store is attached to the excellent High Hops brewery. I told the teenages to go pick out what they need while I have a beer, afterall it is their project why do I need to pick out a plant? When they ask the staff for recommendations they were told that they could not be in the store and needed to be with a parent. While I understand the overall logic of their policy, they just kicked out two paying customers! I went to ask the manager about the situation and was clearly told that it was their policy and they didn't care if they were paying customers or not. I promise that Ace or Lowes absolutely have no problems or restrictions on selling products to teenagers. It is actually a verified fact since the same teenagers were able to make a purchase, completely independently, at the local Ace after being denied services at the Windsor Gardener. I am both offended and disgusted by this experience, especially because I went to have a direct conversation with the owner or manager and was basically told to go to hell as well. Now that is real customer service! I'm a huge believer in supporting local community stores but this store clearly does not support members of their local community! Absolutely, not a family friendly environment!

The Windsor Gardener has LOADS of garden decorations, pottery and do-dads. However, if you're looking for a decent selection of plants, best go to a place with "nursery' in the name. It's fun that it's attached to the brewery but they're very strict that no beer comes in the store. Perhaps they're afraid people will water the plants with beer, but the beer from High Hops is too good to waste it watering a plant.

This is such a cool place! Unique that you can grab a beer, or some spirits at their new distillery, and sit in the green house amongst the plants and enjoy your beverage. There is no kitchen for food, but they have always had a food truck when we go! They have lots of options for beer and I haven't had a bad one yet. They even have a gluten free beer! We have gone when they have live music as well. Our favorite place to visit when a beer is in order!

This is a great shop, they sell mostly decorations but have a good plant selection. Good plant prices, and I tend to buy my garden plants here.

Parking was a problem. A lot of cars but no parking spaces. Please make parking spaces more visable and understandable. I think you're losing a lot of business because of poor parking spots.
