Rick's garden center is awesome! I've been an avid gardener for 5-6 years now and Rick's is the place to go. They have great soils, amenities, plants and seeds. If they don't have what you need they are more then willing to order it for you. Staff is knowledgeable and friendly especially Tyler. Tyler helped me to my car and was incredibly helpful and kind. He even seemed genuinely insterested in my gardening exploits! What a wonderful man.

This Center and their employees are the best. I am out of state and was working on a gift for my mother who lives in the area. Julie texted pictures of what I wanted so I could choose. Then called so we could discuss and collaborate on the decision. Could not have done it without her. Rhannon did the payment and carefully it marked for pick up. When I called back to confirm the day and time, he know exactly who I was. Both worked with me as if it was their mother too. Both were thoughtful and thorough. Thanks to their time and consideration, Mom got something that was perfect for her. I used to shop at Ricks when I was in town and loved it then. So good to know that years later, it has gotten even better!

Zach was amazing helping us identify the bushes and tree our contractor DESTROYED and then claimed, oh they will grow back (not when you paint them solid and flatten bushes and growing trees). Also provided a range in some items that he wasn't positive about. Now that's honest! Thanks guys!!

Huge areas of everything lawn and garden, entrancing decor, chimes, lawn ornaments, bird feeders, and oh yes, plants and trees coming out of your ears!!! The people are great, and they can do several levels of soil samples and recommend fixes for your lawn. All kinds of grasses. It's a wonderland!

Wow! This is one incredible store. Everything a gardener could ever wish for! The prices here are reasonable, the selection is endless, the plants are very happy and healthy looking, and the store is huge. We went for spanish moss and found a few great options to choose from, they also seemed to have everything else I have on my to get list! The staff were very friendly and the store was so nice, we will definitely be returning to this Garden Center for our next plant &/ garden purchase!

Staff - polite and positive, helpful and not pushing a sale. more botanical education & caretaking training would be good to see. Selection - If they dont have a specific plant, they usually can find a way to get it, but definitely need regular reminders (the ordering system is a notepad under the counter). Value - decent when compared to corporate garden centers around town. it's better to support a local biz!

I've been going to Rick's for years and was concerned when I learned he had sold his business. Not to worry. While I see a lot of new faces, they seem as kind and knowledgeable as any of the others. Zach was extremely helpful about a sick tree I have, answered all my questions and was genuinely concerned for the health of all my trees. We will continue to purchase our trees and flowers from Rick's for all our properties!

We needed sod and late in the day on Saturday. Rick's was open, that was the first good thing, they had plenty of fresh sod, that was more than good. Upon our arrival we were greeted getting out if our car, that was so nice! Then it turns out our greeter was very knowledgeable and able to help us right then, and so good went to great. Then we got expert advice and understandable directions and our experience was pretty much awesome. Then they had the most beautiful assortment of purple flower pots and amazing doesn't deserve credit. Each and every employee we encountered was friendly, knowknowleg and way beyond nice. This was so wonderful we are thinking of more projects so we can go back. Thanks to the everyone. It was so good!

Rick’s has always been my go nursery, I picked a $50.00 plant that died within 2 weeks. I called and the girl asked if we I need planting help. I know how to plant a plant. She then asked if not advise what did I want? I said to replace or charge me 50% for a new one.. She no, we don’t do that then asked if there’s anything else she could do. I am so sad because I’m a principle person.

My partner and I stopped by last week to pick up some starter soil and peat moss for our germination trays. We selected a bag each--as well as some small house plants--from the store labeled soils. They worked wonderfully. Our sunflowers, corn poppies, and mint seeds have already started to sprout and love the soil mix. There were barely any sticks and no large mulch pieces in the starter mix. The peat moss wasn't too airy or compact and didn't have any large sticks or wood pieces either. The succulents and small flowers we bought are doing well in their new pots and the staff even gave my partner some tips about watering the African Violets she purchased. We spent quite a bit of time looking at their pot collection too. Would recommend to anyone doing indoor or outdoor gardening. Skip Home Depot, Lowes, and Walmart for your soil. Their soils might be $2 cheaper but they're garbage.

Made a mistake coming to Ricks Garden Center. The hired help “employees” do not know their inventory and nothing about them. I went there to see their selection of bonsais because they said they supplied them. Zero in stock. Was a waisted trip. Then I wanted to look around some more. I was less than impressed. When I can go to Home Depot or Lowe’s and find the same plants with the same or better life in them for less...what’s the point.

I went in looking for grass seed help and was referred to a "tall guy Alex" by a nice lady at the front desk. "tall guy Alex" was able to answer all of my questions and was very informative. After he tested my dirt he gave me good ideas for products I should buy for my grass and walked me through their instructions. I am VERY happy with this plant shop and I will be back!
