Even for small jobs, this place is amazing! They are so easy to order from, always on time, and the delivery drivers are very skilled at putting your order precisely where you need it. The personnel are both professional and friendly, and after multiple deliveries, they’ve ALWAYS delivered in the time window scheduled. We went for a small amount of gravel, and only 200 lbs of rose quartz. Paid for delivery the next day. Only the gravel arrived. Tried to get problem corrected through Don, the owner, he was great, promised delivery of the rose quartz. Then Sherry, the Salesperson who did a bad job originally, interfered, lied. Long story short, Don reneged on his word. Our business was only a few dollars, but I'll long remember the rude, unprofessional service.

Lots of neat statues and decorations for the garden. I came for pave stones that was advertised online. Unfortunately when I got there I found out they were clearance and they didn't have enough for my job. But they did have a lot of other stone work that is worth taking a look at.

We've used Don's for several years for garden soil, mulch, and vermiculture supplies. I have chosen to no longer do business with Don's after a situation I encountered a few days ago. A truck driver in a Don's Landscaping semi-truck (dump truck) was travelling approx. 75 miles per hour on Milton Proby. He was passing cars in the right lane and cut off 3 cars in order to merge onto S. Academy. He then proceeded to weave in and out of busy traffic at 8:30am. He almost caused numerous accidents. If that wasn't enough, he blew right through a red light. I can't support a company that has such careless drivers. I had my baby in the car and he came zooming up behind me, scaring me, and MANY others half-to-death. Working on our garden and yard the past few weeks we've decided to order online and shop at Lowe's which isn't as high quality or price, but like I said I just can't support Don's anymore...

I love Don's best prices mostly even with most product are competitive with big box stores. There website helps anyone know what the need for the yard. Our yard has been recreated with hard work and Dons great prices.

Don's by far is one of the best nursery in the Springs area. Off of Platte Ave and easy access. My husband and I bought fertilizer and the staff we're very knowledgeable about education me with the different kind. Check it out, you won't be disappointed.

I have been a loyal customer of Don’s for the past two years. I dump branches at least twice a week from my landscaping and tree removal company. A few weeks back I was notified upon dumping that the price for branch dumping was raised from $6 to $12 per cubic yard. Did not bother me at the time until I arrived today to dump a load of branches. I have never paid more than $60 to dump large amounts of branches. Today I was charged $120. As I said I have been a loyal customer of Don’s for a few years. That ends today. Pulling out of their yard I called Rocky Top and discovered that they charge a flat rate of $20 for branches. Don’s you will lose lots of loyal customers for overcharging!

I gave it 2 stars because the lady that’s on the trailer where you pay for rock is so unprofessional. The way she speaks to people is just rude. They need to retire her or place her in a different area where she does not have to deal with people.

I ordered 3 yards of garden mix compost to till into my poor soil. It was delivered by Don's, the truck driver dumped it all on a tarp in my driveway. The compost was excellent quality, no rocks, almost no plastic (a few very small pieces of old landscape plastic, maybe 4 pieces in 3000 lbs of compost) and only found a couple pieces of twigs that were not fully composted. The guy in the office who helped me was helpful and knowledgeable, driver was friendly and professional. Look forward to going back for future landscaping needs

We went to Don's looking to make a small purchase of rock. We dealt with Sherry in the Blue Shed. She was rude and very unhelpful. We needed some professional help. I had some measurements and even pictures to help, but she was not interested in helping. She was just impatient to get numbers to plug into the computer. So, we ended up purchasing 1600 pounds of one rock and 200 pounds of rose quartz (the only real reason for being there) plus 3 bales of straw. The delivery charge was more than the cost of the rock. We left with the straw in our car. The next day 1600 pounds of rock arrived AND 3 bales of straw, but NO rose quartz. After talking to Don, we found out Sherry has left the rose quartz off, Don said he would deliver it and we would pay then ($12.75). Then we get a call from Sherry questioning us about the rose quartz. She was still rude. I called Don. He backed out of the delivery after Sherry lied about our visit. We will never do business with Don's Garden Shop again.

Great place to find everything you need for building a garden. They delivered 16,000 lbs of compost to us, way outside of town (though the delivery charge was a little steep, but we expected that), worked around our schedule, were prompt and courteous. A good experience all around.

Went there four times spent over 300.00 on rock and top soil. Went back and they told me my bank cacd was no good had them run it again and they said insufficient funds. so I called my bank and the bank said I had plenty of money I asked the employee to run my card again but they would not so had to go some were else and had no problems with my card . Sorry but haven't been back since then
